The investigation went on for a while but nothing was revealed. Thomas kept denying that he knew something about the case. Though his face was saying the opposite. Eliot gave up and decided to head home as it was already late. Once he reached home the lights, which were usually turned on as Sean was home early, were not turned on which made him feel a little uneasy. He entered into the house but his phone battery had died so he could not turn on the flash light. He walked in to find no one there. He called Sean many times but there was no response. The lights turned on suddenly and Sean was in front of him with a cake and the whole house was decorated with balloons and flowers. Eliot asked Sean why was the house in such a mess and why was he standing there with a cake. Sean burst out laughing and said he was there to celebrate his birthday and Eliot had no idea that it was his own birthday. He was very happy to know that at least someone remembered his birthday. They spent the night together celebrating his birthday, eating the cake and watching a documentary on Penguins. Eliot fell asleep on Sean's shoulder. Sean did not want to disturb him because he had been working all day, so he slowly moved his head from his shoulder and softly asked him to lay down on the sofa and went to bring a blanket for him. But he woke up as Sean went to get him a blanket. Sean was shocked by a sudden back-hug. He felt something warm on his back. He turned quickly to find Eliot with tears running down his pale face. The moonlight reflected on his tear making them look like pearls, his velvet eyes shining like stars. Sean froze not knowing what to do as it had been a long time since he had seen him cry. He wrapped his arms around him and held him tightly. Eliot looked like a fallen angel who had done nothing wrong but was punished. Sean asked him what was wrong, why was he crying. Eliot looked at him wanting to say everything in his mind but the words did not come out. They both had known each other for years yet Sean felt like he knew nothing about him. Sean just sat there with Eliot, comforting him. He stopped crying and he replied to him saying he had a nightmare about Sean leaving him forever. Sean smiled and said that if that day ever comes it would not be now, and if he had left him then who is comforting him now? He assured him that he would never leave him alone again. Eliot felt that his world would never fall apart in the future again as he now has a place he could call home and someone who would wait for him always. They sat there near the window where the moon looked like a giant pearl. Eliot fell asleep again on Sean's lap, embracing him, as if he would never let him go or let anything happen to him again, tears still rolling down his face but not a lot. The moonlight reflected on Eliot's face making him look angelic. Sean stared at the beauty on his lap asleep. He had not been able to get a close look at Eliot since the accident. He just sat there looking at the angelic beauty who had been protecting him and taking care of him since the accident. It was already late when Eliot woke up, he found himself on Sean's lap. He got up and woke Sean up as well. Sean was still sleepy but got up and immediately asked Eliot how he was feeling; if he was feeling better than the night before. Eliot responded that he was feeling better. Sean went to wash up and Eliot made breakfast and they ate together. Eliot said the surprise made him very happy because it had been so long since anyone celebrated his birthday. His family was never happy with him being born in first place so what was the point of a birthday celebration. Sean assured him that he was special for someone and he is appreciated by that person, also Sean found Eliot very special and him existing in his life is very special. Eliot smiled when he heard that Sean was speaking about him being special to him. After they had their fill, they went to the police station together. They cross-checked the CCTV footage again and the person who had caused the accident, messed with the footage, but failed miserably. The person in charge of the incident was Lilac. She managed to make the footage a mess but she missed a small part which gave it away. A team of police officers were sent to find Lilac and arrest her. They stayed there waiting for news from the team, if they had any leads to Lilac or any information about her.
