After about an hour, the team of officers informed them that Lilac has been found. They had tracked her phone and found her location. Half an hour later the team of offices came back with Lilac with them. She was put for inquiry. She did not say a single thing about what she had done, which made Eliot furious. If Sean had not stopped him, he would have hit Lilac. But they decided to take the case to court. Sean had a distant cousin who was a lawyer and they contacted him and he said he would take the case for them. They were pleased to know that. The next week the case would be put to court. Lilac and Thomas stayed in jail, but in difference cells. Eliot was exhausted and he wanted some rest. Sean made some dinner for the two of them and they had dinner together, talking about the case. Sean was talking about the night before, and told him if he ever wanted to cry or he missed his family he could come to Sean at anytime and open up about how he was feeling and he would try his best to comfort him. Eliot turned red from embarrassment as he recalled the last night. He nodded gently and quickly ate his dinner and went upstairs. His heart was racing faster than ever. He was really happy to have someone actually cared about him but he felt a bit embarrassed about the night before, he did cry like a baby but Sean had not said anything bad about the fact that he held him and cried but instead he just sat with him and comforted him. He laid in his bed just blankly staring at the ceiling. Sean washed the dishes and went to his room but was stopped by some loud sound, it sounded like glass shattering. It came from Eliot's room. Sean heart started pounding as he ran upstairs to Eliot's room. When he opened the door he saw Eliot standing there scared, not knowing what to do. The innocent look on his face was good enough to make an old woman want to baby him. He started freaking out not knowing how to explain. Sean just smiled softly and went in to comfort him and let him know that it was okay. He raised his hand to pat his head but he fell on his knees, begging him not to hit him. Sean kneeled down beside him, patting his back and tell him it is okay and it was not his fault. Eliot calmed down and started explaining to Sean what happened, He wanted to drink water, but his hands slipped which caused the glass to fall and shatter. Sean smiled at him and asked why was he freaking out. Eliot replied when he was a child, his parents used to beat him for every small mistake. They would get very annoyed if things didn't go their way. Even at the orphanage where he stayed for a while before Sean's parents brought him home, he had to work as he was instructed. One mistake and he would be punished. The thoughts came back to him, which made him freak out. Sean brought him a glass of water and he went to his room as it was late and they had to go tomorrow to interrogate Lilac and Thomas again to get some clues for the crimes they have done. Sean went his room and shut the door behind him and fell on his bed. He could not help but feel pity for Eliot and his past. He brushed it off and swore that he would never let Eliot get hurt ever again. He could not sleep all night thinking about the case and how it is affecting Eliot's health. The next week came and they were summoned in court. Thomas and Lilac had made things very difficult for them, they made a lot of forged copies of documents, which they presented in front of the judge, they claimed that the accident was not intentional and the kidnapping was never supposed to happen. Sean's cousin who was a lawyer had taken the case for them. He was a very well-known lawyer in the city. He fought many cases and he had won all of them. But this case was a bit difficult. After fighting the case for almost a week, they had won the case and Thomas got 15 years of imprisonment for kidnapping. And Lilac got 10 years of imprisonment for intentional harm on a person who had done nothing to her. After a whole tiring week of running from place to place, Eliot and Sean decided to take a break from work. They decided to go to the beach and spend some time together. They had to go to a different city for the case and they were away from home for too long. They got a little homesick. Once they reached home, they had a shower and decided to have takeout as it was already very late and they were hungry. The takeout came in after around half an hour. They had their food and decided to take some rest. But Eliot suggested to go for a walk as it was already autumn and it was a bit windy and chilly outside so it would be comforting for both of them.
