Kon flew at a fast speed towards Kaya's mansion. The air around him felt his rage as it roared wildly.
His Chi surged wildly in his body,
'Kuro made Goku attack me,' he thought, his fists clenched. 'He made me hurt my best friend.'
As Kon's anger increased, he moved faster, using bursts of air to propel himself toward the mansion where Butler Klahadore, revealed as Captain Kuro of the Black Cat Pirates, was plotting.
At the mansion's gates, Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and Usopp stood facing Kuro, who adjusted his glasses with a cold smirk.
Kaya, pale and trembling, stood beside Usopp, her eyes wide with fear.
Pirates poured from behind Kuro, grinning with swords and guns raised, their confidence bolstered by their leader's calm demeanor.
Kuro's voice cut through the tension, smooth and unyielding. "I've waited three long years for this. To think my plans would be spoiled by some nobody and this delinquent." He slipped on his cat-claw gloves, the metal glinting. "Oh well… it's not too late."
Usopp, his face bloodied from his earlier scuffle with Kuro, gripped his slingshot, his voice shaking. "Kaya, you should've stayed home."
'I dragged her into this,' he thought, guilt gnawing at him. 'I'm no hero.'
Kaya clutched his arm, whispering, "I wanted to help."
'Usopp's fighting for me. I should have believed him when he said Klahadore is a traitor.' she thought.
Before anyone could respond, a gust of wind roared through the gates, and Kon appeared, soaring in mid-air, his straw hat flapping.
His eyes burned with rage, the air swirling violently around him. Luffy's jaw dropped. "Kon?"
'What's he doing here? Should not he be on the shore training with Goku?' he thought, tilting his head.
Zoro's eyes narrowed, catching the blank, furious look in Kon's gaze. 'Something's wrong. It looks like he is not himself. He is always smiling but he looks angry and then there is the blank look in his eyes.' he thought.
Kon hovered, glaring at Kuro. "You're the guy responsible for Goku attacking me for no reason. You're the guy who made me hit Goku. You're the guy who made Goku bleed for it."
The ground trembling slightly beneath him.
Luffy frowned, confused. "Hey, Kon, where's Goku? Is he okay?"
'What's he talking about?' he thought, scratching his head.
Kon didn't hear him, his focus locked on Kuro. "You'll pay for this," he said, his voice low and dangerous.
"Tell me how you want to die. Cut by winds, drowned in water, burned alive, or crushed by piles of earth." the air around him picked up speed, and for a split second, his eyes glowed white, his voice echoing unnaturally.
"Tell me!" Kon roared, his voice overlapping, as if something ancient spoke through him.
Nami stepped back, her eyes wide. 'I take it back, this guy's scarier than the monkey,' she thought, 'What's wrong with him?'
Zoro grabbed Luffy's arm, his voice urgent. "Something's wrong with Kon, Luffy."
'He's out of control,' he thought, his swords half-drawn. 'This isn't just anger. I can feel goosebumps all over my body.'
Kuro, despite the fierce winds tugging at his coat, kept his expression calm, though a flicker of unease crossed his eyes.
"A kid trying to intimidate Kuro of a Thousand Plans? I'd laugh if it wasn't an insult."
'Flying? Probably a Devil Fruit user. But in front of true skill, it would mean nothing,' Kuro thought, adjusting his claws.
He lunged, moving with blinding speed, his cat claws aimed at Kon's chest. But before the claws could connect, Kuro froze, hovering mid-air, his body locked in place by an invisible force.
"What the hell?" Kuro shouted, struggling against the air holding him. 'What's this power?' he thought, panic creeping in.
Kon's eyes, still faintly glowing, narrowed. "Die burning, it is." With a swipe of his hand, fire erupted around Kuro, a roaring blaze that engulfed him instantly.
Kuro's scream echoed, raw and agonized, as the flames consumed him, reducing him to ashes in seconds.
The Black Cat Pirates froze, their weapons clattering, their smug grins gone.
The Straw Hats stared, horrified yet awed. Luffy's jaw hung open. 'Kon just… burned him to nothing,' he thought, his usual grin gone.
Nami clutched her hand, trembling. 'He's a monster, she thought, her mind racing. 'I'm with a crew of lunatics.' Usopp's slingshot shook in his hands. 'That's not normal,' he thought, glancing at Kaya, who looked fainted at the sight.
Zoro gripped his swords tighter. 'This kid's dangerous,' he thought.
Kon's glowing white eyes turned to the remaining pirates, the air around him still swirling.
The pirates stumbled back, terrified. 'He's gonna kill us all!' one thought, dropping his sword.
Zoro stepped forward, his voice tense. "Oi, oi, oi, is he planning to burn them all?"
'We can't let him mass murder just like that,' he thought, ready to intervene.
Luffy stared at Kon, his mind elsewhere. 'Kon's my vice-captain, but… what's going on?' he thought, his instincts telling him to act.
"We gotta stop him, Luffy," Zoro urged, but Luffy's gaze shifted, spotting movement in the distance.
A man in a long coat—Jango—ran toward them, carrying Goku on his shoulders.
The monkey's face was bruised, a trickle of blood on his lip, but he hopped down, chattering angrily.
He scampered to Kon, leaping up and smacking him hard on the head with a tiny fist, making a loud chirp.
Kon blinked, the white glow fading from his eyes. He dropped to the ground, the air that swirled around him calmed down. He rubbed his stomach, grinning sheepishly. "I'm hungry."
