Because Good was coming, Impel Down entered full lockdown.
They were terrified he would wreak havoc again, plunging the prison into chaos.
After all, the impression Good had left on Magellan and Hannyabal last time was far too deep.
He truly lived up to his title: Admiral Reckless Maniac.
Though both Magellan and Hannyabal admired him even more after hearing he had defeated Kaido, worry was still worry.
Good himself, of course, was completely unaware of all this.
A massive Marine warship sailed across the sea, a great flag bearing the word "Reckless" fluttering in the wind, proclaiming who stood aboard.
At the bow stood Good, hands clasped behind his back, enjoying the feeling of command.
But this time, beside him stood Tokikake.
Tokikake imitated him, also standing with hands behind his back, staring at the horizon.
He wondered to himself: Is this one of Admiral Reckless Maniac's ancestor-level techniques?
A way to display dominance—aloof, kingly, untouchable, embodying the loneliness of the strong?
Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!
Surely, Tokikake thought, Gion watching from behind would be deeply moved.
But in truth, Gion only looked on speechlessly.
She was used to Good's strange habits, but why was Tokikake joining in too?
Before long, the ship passed through the Gates of Justice and arrived at Impel Down's harbor.
This time, Magellan and Hannyabal, with several senior officers, were already waiting.
The moment they saw Good, both men were shaken, deeply uneasy that he might destroy the prison.
Good greeted Magellan cheerfully:
"Warden, I'm back again, hehe!"
With a wide smile he added, "Aren't you happy to see me? I remember you told me to come often."
Inside, Magellan screamed: When did I ever say that?!
I clearly told you NOT to come, Admiral Reckless Maniac!
Your memory is broken!
Still, outwardly he forced a grin.
"Of course, of course! With you here, Marine hero, and escorting Kaido yourself—how could I not be happy?"
Gion frowned slightly. "Warden, your face doesn't look well. Are you sick?"
Magellan quickly smiled again. "I was just so excited when I heard Kaido had been defeated by Admiral Reckless Maniac, I couldn't sleep for days."
At once, Gion urged him kindly to take care of his health.
Inside, Magellan wept: If only Reckless Maniac never came here again, that would be the best thing for my health!
After some polite exchanges, Magellan tried to take over escorting Kaido himself, suggesting Good enjoy tea in the office.
But Good refused politely, saying he didn't want to trouble him.
Magellan could only give up.
Soon, they escorted Kaido, Queen, and Jack down into the depths of Impel Down.
Along the way, Good casually knocked out a few of Kaido's underlings and tossed them into Level Four and Level Five.
At last, only Kaido and the two Calamities remained, bound for Level Six.
When the three were dragged in, the whole level erupted in shock.
"Isn't Kaido one of the Yonko?"
"With such vast power, how could he be caught?"
"Did the Marines go to war with the Beasts Pirates?"
"No way. Weren't they about to clash with Whitebeard? How could they split their forces to capture Kaido too?"
"Then how do you explain Kaido and the Calamities being here now?"
"This is… insane…"
Prisoners whispered in disbelief.
Among them, Ace stared at the sight, stunned.
"Kaido… one of the Yonko… actually fell…"
Was the Navy truly this terrifying now? To bring down an Emperor of the Sea outright?!
If Father came to rescue him, wouldn't it be too dangerous?
For the first time, Ace felt deep regret.
If only he had listened to Father, if only he'd stayed on the ship…
Now his weakness had dragged Whitebeard and all his brothers into peril.
Nearby, Jinbei sighed heavily at Ace's grief.
His own Warlord title had been revoked because he refused conscription and stood by Whitebeard.
But now, with this new admiral, Marine strength had grown far beyond anything before.
On the way down, as Good passed Douglas Bullet's cell, he shot the prisoner a bright smile.
Bullet narrowed his eyes, unease prickling in his chest.
Behind him, Magellan's heart skipped, pounding wildly—Good might go inside!
But instead, Good simply unleashed his Conqueror's Haki.
In an instant, overwhelming pressure exploded from him.
Black lightning crackled, filling the level with suffocating might.
Before the prisoners could even cry out, many collapsed under the sheer force.
Even the Sea Kings circling outside Impel Down shuddered in terror, fleeing into the deep. Some weaker ones even flipped belly-up, dead.
Inside, Magellan, Hannyabal, Shiki, and all the other strong men of Level Six stared in shock.
"Th-That Conqueror's Haki… so powerful?!"
"Wasn't it weaker before?"
"It's almost… becoming tangible…"
Elsewhere, Ace and Jinbei paled.
They had never imagined Good's Haki was so monstrous.
"It's nearly as strong as Red-Haired Shanks'!" Jinbei gasped.
And Bullet, drenched in sweat, shrank back.
He had clashed with Good's Haki before, and knew exactly how strong it had been.
Yet in just a few days, it had grown to this level.
This guy… he's a monster.
