Jack showed no respect for the new Marine admiral, Good, openly provoking him by telling Doflamingo to send the artificial Devil Fruits straight to his ship.
The Marine high command naturally knew about the artificial Devil Fruit trade, but because Doflamingo was a Shichibukai and held leverage over the Celestial Dragons, they had turned a blind eye.
But now Jack was bringing the deal into the open, which was nothing less than humiliating the Marines.
Doflamingo, though battered, still smirked mockingly. "Jack, the artificial Devil Fruits you want are ready—but do you think a Marine admiral here will let you take them?"
Jack turned to look at Good, who grinned. "Artificial Devil Fruits are strictly forbidden by the Marines."
He tilted his chin upward. "Of course I can't let you take them!"
Jack raised an eyebrow.
As a fellow representative of recklessness, he took that as a direct challenge.
"Then I'll beat you first, and take them after!"
Jack roared.
One reason he hadn't gone directly to the underground trade port was to see this new admiral for himself.
Jack's body swelled massively, transforming into a gigantic mammoth—his Ancient Zoan Mammoth form.
The massive beast charged at Good, his two enormous tusks coated in Armament Haki, aiming to skewer him.
Unlike with Doflamingo, Good went all out against Jack, the so-called "Iron-Headed King."
"I like guys like you—straight to the fight!"
Good laughed, his eyes flashing. His godlike combat sense let him grab Jack's tusks precisely.
The next instant, a classic scene unfolded—Good swung Jack like the Hulk smashing Loki, slamming him into the ground.
Boom!
The first slam, Jack cursed loudly.
The second slam, Jack cried out in pain.
The third, Jack tried to struggle free…
But Good gave him no chance, gripping his tusks and smashing him again and again.
Laughing wildly, Good shouted, "Hah! This is great! Feels amazing!"
With every slam, his War God System stats rose, and the replication of the Ancient Zoan Mammoth Form progressed steadily.
Nearby, Momousagi swallowed hard. "Admiral Good is still as fierce and straightforward as ever!"
"I bet Jack regrets coming here now…"
The Donquixote officers around them were pale with fear.
This was practically a beating to death—did this admiral not care about offending the Beasts Pirates at such a critical time?
They realized Good didn't think about consequences at all—his only principle was raw, brutal simplicity.
Doflamingo's eye twitched as he watched. He felt lucky he hadn't been treated like this—he didn't have Jack's rare Ancient Zoan durability.
But even with that durability, after fifty slams, Jack was nearly done for.
He was covered in blood, battered to the extreme, and barely breathing.
The Donquixote Family members were silent as the grave.
One of the Three Calamities couldn't even land a single effective blow on Good.
Against any other admiral, such overwhelming, brutal dominance would have been impossible.
In this moment, Doflamingo and his officers fully understood how terrifying Good was.
His strength was one thing—but his disregard for rules or consequences made him even more fearsome.
Good tossed Jack aside like garbage.
Jack could only let out a weak groan before lying still like a dead dog, blood pooling beneath him.
Any other Devil Fruit user would likely already be dead.
Ignoring Jack's fate, Good turned back to Doflamingo.
Meeting Good's gaze, Doflamingo's arrogance had completely vanished, replaced only by fear and caution.
Before Good could even speak, Doflamingo blurted, "Reckless Maniac Admiral, rest assured! Responding to the Marines' call is our Shichibukai duty—I will definitely join the fight against Whitebeard!"
He was terrified that if he refused, he'd share Jack's fate.
Good finally smiled in satisfaction.
Beside them, Momousagi felt equally pleased—this meant their mission from the Fleet Admiral was complete.
The unexpected capture of Jack was also a huge military achievement.
Still, Momousagi decided to report to Sengoku right away, along with the news that Doflamingo had agreed to cooperate.
Soon, her Den Den Mushi connected, and Sengoku's voice came through: "Momousagi, did that guy Good forget his Den Den Mushi again!?"
Momousagi sighed—wasn't it obvious?
If Good could remember to bring it, he wouldn't be Good.
Sengoku sighed too. "So? I take it there's an 'unexpected situation' to report again?"
Momousagi was surprised. "Fleet Admiral, how did you know something unexpected happened?"
Sengoku replied matter-of-factly, "If Good goes on a mission and nothing unexpected happens, it means it wasn't him!"
Momousagi gave a dry laugh—he had a point.
She first reported Doflamingo's agreement to join the war, which pleased Sengoku.
Then she reported that Jack, one of the Three Calamities under the Beasts Pirates, had been defeated by Good.
Sengoku was stunned. How had a negotiation with Doflamingo turned into capturing one of Kaido's men?
