Good's chest was pierced by Doflamingo's strongest move, "God Thread," blood quickly soaking through his Marine coat.
Across from him, Doflamingo smirked. "Reckless Maniac! Your most prized Armament Haki has been broken by me. Your strength is nothing special after all!"
"Be smart and accept my terms. Negotiate with Sengoku—there's no need for pointless fighting."
"Otherwise, if you're injured before the battle with Whitebeard, it will crush Marine morale. That would be a loss you can't afford."
Good looked genuinely puzzled. "What are you talking about? Why don't I understand a word?"
He lowered his head, glanced at the blood holes in his chest, pointed at them, and asked, "Are you talking about this?"
Under Doflamingo's dumbfounded stare, Good shrugged. "Compared to when Whitebeard almost cut half my body off, this little scratch is nothing."
As soon as he spoke, the wounds on Good's body healed instantly.
The holes, the cuts—everything was gone. Only the blood remained, proof there had ever been an injury.
Doflamingo's expression shifted in shock, his eyes wide. "He… healed?"
The Donquixote officers around them were equally stunned.
"How did this Reckless Maniac admiral do that?"
"Rapid regeneration… Is he a Zoan-type Devil Fruit user?"
"At least a rare Mythical Zoan, like that rumored Phoenix Marco…"
But while they were still speculating, Good suddenly activated the power of the Magma-Magma Fruit.
His fist blazed with molten heat, and he slammed it into Doflamingo's abdomen.
The searing temperature burned him, and the sheer force sent him spitting blood violently as he crashed to the floor, his face instantly pale.
The Donquixote officers gasped.
"He's not a Zoan—he's… Logia!?"
"Then how the hell did he heal like that just now!?"
They were dumbfounded. A Logia user who actually took a hit couldn't heal that quickly unless they avoided damage in the first place.
Nothing about Good's display made sense.
Trebol, the crew's strategist, suddenly spoke. "Wait a second… isn't the magma fruit Admiral Akainu's power?"
The realization struck them all like lightning.
Right! That was Akainu's Magma-Magma Fruit.
So why could this newly appointed fourth admiral use it?
"What the hell is going on?"
Confusion and fear mingled in their hearts as they glanced between Doflamingo and Good.
But Doflamingo wasn't thinking about that—Good's magma punch had nearly taken his life. His mind was ringing, his body coughing blood uncontrollably.
Before he could recover, Good walked up, grabbed him by the collar, and hauled him into the air.
The pain made Doflamingo groan.
Good didn't care. He patted his face lightly to get his attention and asked coldly, "Doflamingo, I'll ask you again—will you accept the Marine draft or not?"
Before Doflamingo could answer, a subordinate ran up to report.
Seeing the wreckage of the palace, the messenger froze, then stammered, "Y-Young Master, the Beasts Pirates' ship is docked at the port…"
The Donquixote officers were surprised—not by the Beasts Pirates' arrival, but because they weren't docking at the underground port, where artificial Devil Fruits were traded.
Doflamingo's eyes lit up.
Jack was backed by Kaido of the Beasts. With the war against Whitebeard looming, the Marines wouldn't risk provoking another Yonko.
And as one of the Three Calamities, Jack's position in the crew was formidable.
Surely Good and Momousagi would avoid unnecessary conflict and opt for safe negotiations.
But when Good heard that Jack was here, his eyes brightened with interest.
His single-track mind immediately tossed aside the Doflamingo matter and dropped him to the ground.
Beside him, Momousagi frowned. "Admiral Good, the captain of the Beasts Pirates is Kaido—an extremely domineering man. If we meet directly, things could spiral out of control. I'll contact Fleet Admiral Sengoku and see what he thinks."
A vice admiral of her caliber—strong in both skill and intellect—knew that a clash between the Marines and the Beasts Pirates right now was ill-advised.
But Good waved her off. "No need, no need!"
Meanwhile, Jack disembarked from the Beasts Pirates' ship, followed by a squad of Headliners and other ability users.
In the New World, this was considered upper-mid tier strength, and with the Beasts' emblem, most crews—short of Yonko—would avoid them.
Jack ignored the wary stares of the bystanders and headed straight for Doflamingo's palace.
Originally, he would have gone directly to the underground trade port. But hearing that the new Marine admiral was here piqued the "Iron-Headed King's" interest—he wanted to see this fourth admiral for himself.
Soon, the Beasts Pirates arrived outside the ruined palace.
Jack looked at the collapsed structure, then at the battered Donquixote officers, and chuckled.
Then, giving Good a mocking once-over, he loudly ordered—right to Doflamingo's face—"Doflamingo, send the artificial Devil Fruits for this deal to my ship!"
