A cold smile crept onto Toje's face as he slicked his black hair back.
"It's a shame I underestimated you... but don't worry, because now I'll take things seriously."
Slowly, Toje tightened his grip on the handle of his iron bat. He didn't lift his hand quickly, but rather wrapped it slowly around the handle. Then, he began spinning the bat in his hand — once... twice... three times. His movement was smooth and perfect. The sound of the bat slicing through the air was the only thing heard in the corridor.
"Come on, heroes! Are you ready?" Toje said sarcastically before looking at his feet and speaking:
"Increasing pressure."
As soon as Toje uttered those words, he lunged at them at incredible speed. His movements were so fast that the three heroes couldn't even respond to his sudden attack — but they didn't stand idly by.
They didn't waste time; they charged into the attack. Hanta launched his tapes once again, trying to restrain Toji, but this time Toje was faster. He dodged the tapes easily, moving right and left, forward and back.
Meanwhile, Koda had released his paper birds, trying to confuse Toje. But Toje wasn't even looking at them. He was focused on the three heroes, as if he had a plan in his head. The birds touched his shoulder and arm, but they caused him no harm. Toje had reached a stage where he no longer cared about such simple attacks.
As for Shoji, he was the most frustrated. He was trying to land a powerful punch on Toje, but Toje dodged every one of them. The boy moved like a ghost — appearing and disappearing in the blink of an eye. Shoji's strength, which he was proud of, was utterly useless in this moment.
Suddenly, Toje saw an opportunity. Shoji was about to throw another punch, but he left himself open. Toje didn't waste the chance. He lifted his right leg and delivered a powerful kick to Shoji's head. The kick was incredibly fast. Shoji had no chance to dodge it.
BOOM!!
Toje's foot slammed into Shoji's head with tremendous force. A loud impact was heard, and Shoji found himself flying through the air, then crashing to the ground hard. He wasn't unconscious — yet.
Toje didn't stop there. He quickly turned and performed a 360-degree kick, striking Mineta in the stomach just as he arrived. The kick was so strong that Mineta was thrown into the air, then collapsed to the ground, vomiting.
Only Koda remained. Toje stood in front of him, holding his iron bat, a wide smile returning to his face. Blood was still flowing from his head, but he didn't care.
Toje looked at Koda, then at Shoji and Mineta lying on the ground.
"I see you enjoyed the fight," Toje said in a calm voice, but it was filled with victory. "But unfortunately, the game is over."
Koda looked at his teammates lying on the ground — Shoji, whose head was bleeding from Toje's kick — and fear crept into his heart. But he didn't allow it to take control. After all, he was a hero, and a hero doesn't give up.
"I'm still standing!" Koda shouted, his voice trembling, but he tried to show strength. "You won't beat me that easily!"
The words came out of his mouth, but in his mind, he was formulating a plan.
"I have to delay this monster. I'll buy some time until Shoji and Mineta regain consciousness."
It was a simple plan, but it was risky. He knew he couldn't defeat Toje alone, but he trusted his teammates and knew they'd come back to fight.
"You're fooling yourself," Toje said quietly, raising his iron bat. "Look around you. There's no one left to save you. This game is over."
Koda looked into Toje's eyes. They were void of any emotion. No anger, no hatred, no remorse. They were the eyes of a hunter looking at his prey. At that moment, Koda knew Toje wasn't joking. This was the last moment of his consciousness.
And before Koda could even try to defend himself, he felt a sharp pain in his face. Then his head spun, and he collapsed to the ground before losing consciousness.
He didn't even know when Toje threw the bat before he blacked out.
In the monitoring room, everyone was silent. Not a single sound was heard. Everyone stared at the screen, their eyes wide in shock. The scene in front of them was unbelievable. Toje had defeated the three heroes by himself.
"The winners..." said All Might in a strong, clear voice, "are the villains' team: Mineta and Toje"
The battle was over, but the shock it left behind still lingered in the observation room. Everyone was silent, eyes fixed on the screen, where Toje stood alone among the three fallen heroes. No one had expected this outcome.
Suddenly, the door to the room with the bomb swung open, and Mineta burst out, jumping for joy.
"We won! We won!" he shouted loudly, waving his arms in the air.
Toje looked at him with sarcasm, his eyes gleaming with a mysterious glint.
"What do you mean we?" Toje asked in a calm voice. He wasn't waiting for an answer from Mineta, and immediately turned and headed toward the classroom.
Toje walked out of the hallway, ignoring Mineta's ecstatic screams. His steps were steady at first, but suddenly he felt dizzy. He bent down slightly, placing his hand on the wall to steady himself. His vision was blurry, and his stomach was violently churning.
"Damn it..." he muttered to himself. He didn't know using two spells at the same time would have such an effect on his body. He thought he could handle it — but he was wrong. "Damn my stupid intelligence!"
He rushed toward the nearest bathroom and closed the door behind him. He leaned over the toilet and began vomiting. He wasn't throwing up food — it was blood. The blood poured from his mouth and dripped into the toilet, staining the water a dark red. He vomited violently, as if expelling all the pain he had felt.
After he finished, he slowly raised his head and looked at himself in the mirror. His eyes were red, and his face pale. The blood was still dripping from his head wound, and his hand was covered in blood, while his foot was stained with blood that had flowed from using blood pressure on two organs simultaneously.
He washed his hands thoroughly, cleaned off the blood, then splashed cold water on his face. He needed to calm down and return to class quickly.
He opened his eyes again and looked at himself in the mirror one last time. He looked a bit better — before heading back to the classroom.
End of the chapter.
I delayed the costume event and placed it after the exam because the clothes would have been torn during the test, and the school would have to remake them. So instead, I decided to delay it entirely.
