Chapter 30 - discussion

In the staff room, All Might sat at his desk, reviewing some reports, while Aizawa conversed with him.

"Don't you agree? Our students this year are exceptionally strong," All Might said in a booming voice.

"You always say that, All Might," Aizawa replied coolly.

"But this time it's different! We have students like Todoroki, who has immense innate talent, and Bakugo, with his explosive power. I believe this generation will shape the future of heroes."

"Hmm…" Aizawa mumbled, adjusting his sleeping bag. "They're strong, but you know they have a significant lack of experience."

"I know! But another student has caught my attention in particular."

Aizawa slowly opened his eyes and looked at All Might. "You're talking about Toge, aren't you?"

All Might smiled broadly. "Exactly! He possesses an incredibly insane talent, not to mention he's managed to catch your eye, Aizawa."

Aizawa ignored the flattery and said seriously, "I've noticed he has a unique talent. But there's a small problem…"

"I know," All Might interrupted, a look of concern on his face. "He seems to have a dislike for heroes. It's not an obvious hatred, but he shows a kind of aversion. I've noticed it during training and conversations. Do you think he won't be able to become a hero?"

Aizawa sighed. "There's no point in thinking about that now. Everything will become clear in the end."

All Might looked at Aizawa in surprise, then smiled again. "You're right, Aizawa. The important thing is to guide them in the right direction. I believe Touji has a good heart deep down and will find his way in the end."

Aizawa remained silent, closing his eyes again. "Maybe… or maybe not. The task now is to prepare them for the future, no matter how difficult that may be."

"I'm optimistic!" All Might said.

"I'm not," Aizawa replied coolly. "Excessive optimism leads to disappointment. We have to be realistic and prepare for all possibilities."

"And that's what makes you a great teacher, Aizawa," All Might said, laughing.

Aizawa smiled faintly, unnoticed by anyone, then turned in his sleeping bag and went back to his deep sleep.

"Aizawa, wake up!" All Might said in a louder voice this time. "I have something else to tell you."

Aizawa sighed slowly, then poked his head out of his sleeping bag. "What now?"

"Do you remember Izuku Midoriya?"

"That boy who breaks his bones every time he uses his power?" Aizawa replied coolly.

"Exactly!" All Might said. "He possesses immense power, but he can't control it. His performance in the combat training was great, but he almost destroyed himself."

"I know," Aizawa said. "That's what I said from the beginning. His power is dangerous and can be a double-edged sword."

"But I see something special in him," All Might said seriously. "He has an iron will and unparalleled courage. He risked everything to save his classmates."

"True heroes do that," Aizawa replied, heading back into his bag. "But will isn't enough. He has to learn how to control his power, or he'll become a burden."

"I'll help him with that," All Might said with a smile. "I'll train him personally. I'll teach him everything I know until he becomes a true hero."

"I wish you luck," Aizawa said, covering his face with his sleeping bag. "But don't forget that you're the one responsible for him. If anything happens to him, it will be on your shoulders."

All Might smiled. "I know that. I'll make him the strongest hero in the world."

"We'll see about that," Aizawa mumbled, sinking back into a deep sleep and leaving All Might laughing loudly in the staff room.

Toge woke up to the faint rays of the sun while the small white cat slept beside him, curled up in a little ball. Touji smiled gently, then slowly got up, avoiding waking her.

After getting dressed, he left the house and found Max standing by the door.

"Did you find him?" Toge asked.

"We're still looking for the Hero Killer, Stain," Max replied directly. "But there's very little information about him. He seems to be hiding well, so it will take longer than we expected."

Toge stopped, a frown on his face. "What do you mean? You have to find him quickly."

"I know," Max said, looking at Touji with tired eyes. "But that's all we have. My friends are still searching, and I'm trying to gather information, so it might take longer."

"Alright," Toge said, "but you have to find him quickly."

Max nodded, then watched as Toge headed toward the school.

"How did we get stuck with this devil?" Max complained inwardly before continuing on his way.
