The silence prevailed in the monitoring room, as if the very sound had frozen in the air. The giant screens displayed the scene from multiple angles: the white-haired boy standing in the middle of a yard filled with robot wreckage, smoke slowly rising around him.
One of the supervisors opened his mouth hesitantly, as if the words weighed heavily on his tongue:
"What... just happened?"
But no one answered. Eyes were wide, breaths slowed, and the sounds of electronic devices were the only thing filling the room.
Someone replayed the footage slowly on the screen, pointing to the moment the boy's lips moved. There was no violent physical movement, nor any visible attack, just... one word, followed by an explosion incomprehensible to the mind.
"Did... he use a sound ability?" another asked, but his tone was uncertain.
"Even if it was sound-based, how could it cause this much destruction so fast?"
One of them moved closer to the screen, staring into Inumaki's eyes as if trying to find a hidden explanation in his features. But the boy stood firmly, his breath calm, and a cold look reflecting that he didn't consider what he did to be extraordinary at all.
A third supervisor whispered, his voice hoarse from amazement:
"That... wasn't an escape."
They exchanged glances, and the idea slowly seeped into their minds—the boy wasn't avoiding the robots out of fear, but was deliberately gathering them... to destroy them all with one strike.
At that moment, none of them felt the disappointment or mockery that had filled the atmosphere at first.
Instead, a heavy sense of awe settled in.
---
Silence filled the monitoring room again, but this time it was not just silence of astonishment... it was silence of anticipation.
Eyes remained fixed on the boy amid the rubble, smoke from the torn robots rising around him like a gray curtain hiding half his body.
Suddenly, he moved his hand calmly and took out a small black loudspeaker from his bag, shiny-edged, as if he had kept it just for this very moment.
Whispers rose among the supervisors, some leaning forward, unable to hide their tension.
The boy pressed the power button, and his voice came out through the loudspeaker clearly, deeply, striking the nerves of everyone who heard it:
He looked around to make sure no humans were nearby.
Their eyes froze on him, some supervisors exchanged worried glances, others unconsciously covered their mouths.
He took a calm breath, then continued with a sharper voice, every word falling with the weight of a hammer:
"Break... you metallic junk."
Not even a second passed… until the air itself began to tremble.
The rubble on the ground lifted a few centimeters before crumbling, and the glass at the far edges of the yard cracked with a sharp sound.
Then—
A huge explosion erupted from the boy's center, a shockwave that ceased to be just sound and turned into an overwhelming force that swept away everything in its path.
The robots hiding behind walls collapsed, melted, and their metal turned into black dust that evaporated into the air.
In the monitoring room, no one spoke anymore… even the mechanical sounds of the devices seemed weaker, as if bowing under the weight of what happened.
---
As the flash of the explosion faded, the smoke slowly cleared to reveal the yard transformed into a barren land, as if a fiery hurricane had swept through it.
Only twisted skeletons and metallic remains radiating heat were left of the robots.
The white-haired boy stood amid the rubble, placing the loudspeaker quietly on the ground, as if he had just finished an ordinary task.
Meanwhile, in the monitoring room, one of the supervisors bent over the control panel, and red icons representing the robots began disappearing from the map at a frantic speed.
Suddenly, the giant screens in the main hall of the test room shook, and the leaderboard appeared, showing the names of the contestants and the points they had collected.
The numbers moved rapidly, the names switching places every second… until they finally settled.

…First place: Inumaki Tōji — Points: 88
Second place: Bakugō — Points: 77
...
...
Last place: Izuku Midoriya — Points: 0
---
"Get ready for the launch,"
The voice of the academy's principal was heard before they released the massive robot.
---
Silence prevailed in the test yard, and the students watched every movement carefully. Suddenly, the ground shook violently, and a heavy mechanical sound filled the place, announcing the beginning of the next stage of the test.
As breaths were held,
That huge robot appeared before everyone, waving its heavy arms like a mountain of iron moving.
The students were shocked, some stepped back, while eyes widened in disbelief at the size of the mechanical beast approaching slowly and confidently.
Everyone heard the metallic buzzing, and the robot's limbs clicked softly, until its massive arm rose, announcing the start of the confrontation.
---
Inumaki Tōji stood firmly, his eyes focused on the target, before he heard a sudden scream:
"Please, help me!"
He turned to find Ochako Uraraka, the girl who controls gravity, and realized that the event in the anime had truly begun.
Inumaki approached her until the distance between them was about twenty meters.
He sat down calmly; he didn't rush to save her but sat in his place as if he had been waiting for something.
"Is this guy crazy or what?" said one supervisor, looking at Inumaki, then shifting his gaze to the green-haired boy running toward the giant robot.
---
Inumaki didn't care about the girl, his gaze was directed toward Izuku.
"Here it goes," said Inumaki with a slight smile on his face.
