Chapter 15 - Normally, I Am Straight...

Rupert felt as if his whole body was going to melt. He never thought anyone could make him bleed. That was what his 'wish' was. How was this even possible? Was the omega in front of him had similar 'powers' like him?"

"Are you some kind of witch?!" yelled Rupert.

Alice shrugged, "I believe... I am not a 'witch.' Although, I would like to be one. Anyway, you should die already."

Rupert gritted his teeth. Roaring loudly, he stood up, causing Alice to take some steps back. He shouted, "I WILL KILL YOU! YOU FUCKING BITCH!"

Shit! It looks like I will have to inject him once more.

Rupert grabbed Alice's throat and slammed her against the wall. The injection had already weakened him significantly. But even if he would die today, that 'wretch' in his hands was going to die first.

Suddenly, something struck Rupert, making him fly across the room.

Alice fell on the ground and gasped for air, with her back against the wall. Clutching her throat, she looked at the blurry figure who had saved her. She wiped the tears from her eyes and looked at her 'saviour.'

"L-Lindy..." stuttered Alice.

Lindy, who was sweating profusely, gave her a small smile and gripped the fire extinguisher in her hands even more tightly. She asked, "Are you alright?" Her tone was full of concern.

The omega in front of her looked too weak as if she could faint at any moment, if not for the adrenaline helping her.

Alice nodded. She turned her attention towards Rupert, who was groaning on the ground. Taking the help of the wall, she stood up and took out another syringe full of UFT from her suit's inner pocket.

"H-hit... h-him... if h-he s-stands up..." Alice croaked out.

Lindy nodded and said, "Don't worry. He won't be getting any more ideas."

With that, Alice ran and jumped on Rupert.

Shocked by the chain of events, Rupert tried to attack Alice, only for him to hit by Lindy's fire extinguisher on top of his head.

Alice stabbed the injection into Rupert's heart.

Blood slowly seeped out of Rupert's eyes, which then turned into a stream. Even the hole in the forehead was bleeding profusely. His whole body was becoming more and more numb with each passing second. He wanted to strangle the blonde woman, who thwarted his plans. Yet, his wish was just a 'wish.' Even his tongue was numb. Fear. That was all he could feel at that moment. Why did it happen to him? What did he do wrong? Why?! Why was the god only unfair to him?! Yet, his questions would always remain unanswered as he... died. Full of fear and desperation.

Seeing him dead, Alice sighed in relief and tried to stand up. Due to her weak body and the recent 'strenuous' activity, she almost fell on the ground, if not for Lindy supporting her.

"You should take some rest," suggested Lindy.

"N-no, j-just give... m-me t-ten... minutes... and s-some... w-water. It... s-should b-be hot."

Lindy frowned but nevertheless she nodded. It looked like she couldn't change Alice's mind.

Drinking the hot water, I took a deep breath. It was my first time... to kill a... human or, perhaps a 'monster.' Yet, I don't feel anything strange at all.

"No need to be hard on yourself," said Lindy. I turned and looked at Lindy, who was giving me a soft and grateful smile. She continued, "It's your first time to kill someone, isn't it?"

"It... w-wasn't a-a... human."

"I know, but still you are a bit affected by it. And don't deny it. You think that you are feeling alright but you are not. I, for one, understand it very well."

Her words shocked me. I asked, "Are y-you... an 'assassin?' Or, s-something?"

"Kind of like that. Although, I am quite impressed by how you killed that 'monster.' Judging by the hole in his head, I believe you shot him in the head, good shot by the way. But he didn't die, did he?"

"H-heparin. I-I... k-killed... it with t-that," I answered.

Lindy sighed, "Look, I am not interrogating you. You saved me."

"So, d-did... y-you."

My throat was hurting like hell. I rubbed my throat gently, trying to soothe it as much as I could before I could get my hands on some medicine.

"Yes, I did. But you were the one who came to my rescue first. If not for you, I would have been died by his hands. And you know that."

I didn't say anything but averted my gaze. Suddenly, I vomited all over the couch that I was sitting on.

Lindy immediately came to my side and rubbed my back in circles.

She said, "It's fine. No need to feel sorry for 'it.' You did nothing wrong. Let's get you some clothes to change into, shall we?" Leaning against her, Lindy helped me walk to the bathroom.

"I will be outside, okay? You should take a shower in here."

Normally, I would have been against this, but her words made me to freeze. My face burst into flames of embarrassment. I spluttered, "N-no... d-don't, I-I c-can p-p-perfectly... s-shower... o-on m-my own. Besides... it's n-n-not good f-for m-me... t-t-t-to s-s-shower... h-here... I m-mean, p-p-police... m-might..."

Lindy gave me an amused smile and shook her head. She said, "Oh, police? Sorry, to disappoint you. Darling, the police is already here. Lieutenant Whitar, at your service." She took my hand and kissed it. "Also, we are both omegas so no need to feel shy about. Sister, I don't bite. Besides, I am kind of tempted. It's not like I would hate to shower with you. Normally, I am straight... but I am ready to venture into the new zone, if you are ready to." Lindy's eyes roamed all over my body with a flirtatious smile. Her eyebrows wriggled suggestively.
