Chapter 2 - Pokemon world championship

Welcome, I'm ready to give you a reaction to the Masters Championship. Just to give you a nice surprise.

Anything that appears does not belong to me...

(..........)

The battle arena was shown, a symbol of a Pokeball with different designs on the side to crown the strongest trainer.

— Now, Shūto Stadium . The cries of anticipation for a heated battle are already resounding .

The audience roared with cheers and shouts as they heard the presenter, who was in complete agreement.

All the Pokémon fans and trainers watched with interest, a Pokémon Battle... The event was so big that it caught their attention.

Even Lionel was interested, wanting to see with fascination if anyone there would be strong enough to face him.

Even those who had once only made other kinds of use of their companions. The tremendous crowd at the event had brought them to attention.

Evil organizations were also interested, especially Team Rocket, which specialized in stealing Pokémon with great potential to use them and eventually rule the Kanto region, maybe more if they wanted to.

— The Pokémon World Championships Masters Tournament . This is where the top Pokémon Battles are decided .

Lights of different colors fell on the platform of the crowned Pokeball.

— The top 8 in the rankings, the 8 Masters, this is the biggest tournament in history .

Charles shouted with joy when he heard that his project had been successful.

—It's working, the PWC can be up and running!—Charles shouted with joy.

Bringing together the world's top 8 coaches, the most epic tournament in history.

The High Command around them was shocked, not believing what they were hearing... The Masters gathered to decide the strongest?

"Isn't this a bad joke orchestrated by a Psychic Pokémon and its trainer?" Agatha said incredulously.

The others did not answer him, being in their own world.

...

Lionel's gaze filled with fire and emotion, an overflowing emotion surged out of his being.

His Charizard released a sea of flames into the sky, just as excited as his trainer.

—This is going to be much more exciting, we have to participate, we will face the strongest trainers from around the world! —Lionel shouted, raising his fist impatiently.

Charizard nodded with a grunt, agreeing.

...

Samuel Oak, the professor from the Kanto Region, was alone in his laboratory, very surprised.

—The biggest ones are going to face each other in a tournament, I suppose they'll be Champions or something similar.

—It makes sense. Who would be the eight strongest trainers in the world if we take out the Champions? Of course, no one would be able to match them. Although, I could.

Professor Oak turned around, staring in surprise at the visitor to his laboratory...

—Gary...?

...

—A tournament of the best coaches in the world! I'm going to be there!

Misty and Brock looked at the excited Ash, no longer surprised by his outbursts. Although their exclamation attracted strange looks from everyone in the Pokémon Center.

They really didn't believe that this beginner boy would be part of the Master Class.

...

Paul and Reggie watched on the couch at home, with the screen right in front of them.

—The Master Class facing off in a tournament? This is...

Reggie looked discreetly at his younger brother, Paul unconsciously clenched his fists.

The announcer's booth came out, demonstrating how one chair was missing.

— Now, who will take the title of Champion of this championship?

Everyone had their idols in their minds, imagining and thinking that they would be the Champions... Among them, many talented and powerful coaches worldwide.

— Now, I will introduce the 8 Masters .

Attention was drawn without hesitation, wanting to know who the 8 strongest trainers in the world would be.

Impatience and desperation were the main features of everyone, as was interest and excitement...

A pillar of blue light appeared at one corner of the platform, and a human figure slowly climbed up.

— First up, at 8th place . The first champion of the Alola Region's first league .

The Alola region was shocked to hear this. They had organized a Pokémon League? It seemed like something from the future...

"Do we have a representative in that tournament?" Professor Kukui said, gasping in shock.

—They also said he was our Champion, the first in fact—Headmaster Grabiel Oak said.

—But how? We haven't made a Pokémon League yet and we haven't thought about doing it—Kukui said, still processing.

—In that case, it means what we are seeing is the future—Gririel Oak said wisely.

The Kahuna of the islands were also interested, wanting to know who was the one who proclaimed himself as their Champion.

On the other hand, Team Skull's leader, Guzmán, didn't take that well.

—How is it that we have a Champion? What happened in the future?!

Having a Champion would be a problem for your Organization.

— Straight from the Kanto Region...

The surprise increased, clearly hearing that the first Champion of Alola was not originally from the place... Something that could be something negative for the reputation of that Region.

"Isn't our Champion from here?" Malow said, confused.

—That is an insult to us, we cannot allow that—Kiawe said angrily.

"Does it bother you that much? I don't see any problem with it," Lana said with a smile.

—Just as long as it's enough that I can support the Region, that's for sure—Lillie said with a cute smile too.

—Oh, please. We're just children enough to do anything—Sophocles said, puzzled.

...

Meanwhile, in the Kanto Region...

People were surprised that one of their own had gone to Alola and triumphed by winning the League.

Obviously most people thought it was Lance... Well, since he is the Champion of Kanto and Johto, it wasn't very surprising that he would take a third title.

—Contestant Ash Ketchum!

The blue pillar disappeared, revealing the representing Alola Champion.

Ash Ketchum who was happy and his Pikachu on the ground, greeting the public in the stands who exploded with emotion.

—Okay, let's do it!

When the identity of the eighth Master was revealed, it sowed many expected reactions.

The surprise from those who didn't know the boy, the interested from the professionals, the perplexed, proud, angry and happy from those who knew the boy in question.

Literally everyone exploded at the sight of the raven-haired man standing there, not wanting to believe that someone so young had become a World Champion.

Ash stood petrified, being the center of attention of the place where he was... He a Champion and Master?

Everyone looked at him waiting for a reaction from him...

—I did it, I'm a Pokémon Master! We did it, Pikachu!

—Pika pi!

Ash grabbed Pikachu to hug him and jump around the place, clearly happy with what was happening.

"So he did it," Brock said, blinking in amazement.

—A Pokémon Master, I really thought it would take longer for that—Misty said, just like her friend.

Even Nurse Joy covered her mouth with one hand, hiding her laughter.

The others present were equally shocked, not believing that this beginner would manage to become a Pokémon Master as he claims.

...

Professor Oak laughed constantly, partly because he was so proud of the boy. Who knew he'd keep his word?

The other was for his grandson...

Gary was in disbelief, staring at the screen in front of them as if he had missed a big catch... Ash's uselessness as Champion?

Soon fury filled him, his facial expressions turned furious... Clearly displeased to see his rival there triumphing.

...

Delia was dumbfounded, watching her son from the future proclaim the title of Champion of Alola.

Then she smiled affectionately as her eyes glazed over, looking very proud.

—Well done, son...

...

All of Alola was shocked to learn that their Champion was someone very young, perhaps around 15 years old given his characteristics.

"He's the Champion?" Kukui said, raising an eyebrow.

"He's someone too young, I'm not going to deny it," Gabriel Oak said, surprised.

Besides...

—Our Champion is a teenager?!—Kiawe shouted in disbelief.

"Wow, don't expect that," Lillie said, somewhat nervous.

"Is he going to represent us?" Sophocles said, raising an eyebrow.

—I thought the Champion would be an experienced adult!—Kiawe shouted, crossing his arms.

"We have to try to trust him, don't you think?" Lana said with a finger on her cheek.

The others looked at her, Lana looked away with some embarrassment.

...

In one of the houses in Vaniville Village in the Kalos Region, a mother and daughter duo were staring at the screen in amazement.

Grice raised an eyebrow at the young man on the screen, identifying him as Delia's son...

-Is...?

Serena gasped in surprise to see that boy in that place.

A pink pillar of light fell on another spot, just to the right side of the young Alolan Champion.

— Ranked 7th, with the goal of becoming a Dragon Master .

That mention caught the attention of trainers specializing in Dragon Pokémon or simply those who were researching them.

Especially Lance, wanting to see the woman who wanted to become a Dragon Master... And if he had the chance, give her a helping hand as an instructor.

— The young Champion of Unova who continues to grow...

The line spoken by the announcer surprised the people of that Region, especially the current Champion who had his doubts.

Alder, the Champion of the Unova Region, stared at the screen, his doubts growing in his mind... Had he been defeated? He really hoped so; he wouldn't want to give up his position just like that... Although he was curious to know who the new Champion was.

The Pillar of Light came to an end, revealing the new Champion of Unova.

— Participant Iris!

People burst into cheers and applause just like Ash, making her get excited and jump up and down.

—Thank you all!

Once again, everyone looked surprised at how the Champion of Unova was very young... At Ash Ketchum's age it seems.

—Axew, look. I look great! —Iris pointed out excitedly.

Little Axew looked in amazement at his trainer proclaiming the title of Champion of Unova.

—And we will be Champions of Unova, this is much more interesting! —Iris shouted without containing her happiness.

The girl started jumping up and down with excitement, screaming and making happy comments.

...

Alter looked seriously at the Champion's childish reaction; that wouldn't help the girl's reputation and made it seem like a game...

So he decided to guide and train her himself, he wouldn't allow someone like that to dethrone him.

Then she turned around, smiling at Ash, and he smiled back.

Everyone, absolutely everyone, caught the interaction between the two junior Champions.

Something that interested many... It seemed they knew each other.

By the way, the young man's mother was amazed to see that.

Iris looked expectantly, wanting to know what her relationship with the Alolan Champion was.

Ash had the same question, paying close attention.

A pillar of purple light appeared next to Iris as the figure ascended.

"Ranked 6th, adventurer famous for his Mega Stone excavations."

That line caught the attention of Professor Augustine Sycamore of the Kalos Region, as those close to him knew very well that he was concentrating on researching the phenomenon called Mega Evolution, which was famous in the Region.

The Professor in question looked at the screen with interest, wondering if his theories were correct. So that adventurer must be originally from Kalos, but I didn't think that was enough fame to enter a top-tier tournament... It would have to be

—Winner of the Kalos League Lumiose Tournament...

The information was enough to determine that the contestant must be the same age as the other two already introduced.

Diantha, the Kalos Region Champion, looked interested at the boy who had yet to show himself, currently at a small table in a cafe... obviously wearing a disguise so she wouldn't be recognized.

If the boy wasn't Champion but won that year's League, it meant he would only be a representative of the Region and clearly wouldn't have challenged her for the aforementioned title.

—Let's see what you're capable of...

The Pillar of Light stopped shining, revealing a young man with a bit too much taste for the color black.

—Participant Alan!

The audience erupted once more as Alan raised his fist.

Alan stared in surprise at his appearance, currently training with his Charizard in a battle arena. He also stopped to watch in disbelief as his trainer introduced himself as a representative of Kalos.

The boy didn't really expect anything from him regarding that tournament, as he had never been interested in spending time collecting 8 Gym Badges and entering the Pokémon League... He had too many things to do to spare the time for that...

One of them... Mairin.

Then he had a doubt about himself: Why did he feel the need to enter a Pokémon League? Although he was also surprised to have won it

...

Sycamore smiled slightly with pride and affection to see his former assistant standing there, representing the Kalos Region as a winner of the League itself.

"So you've finally decided to explore new things, Alan."

Alan looked back with a small smile, and Ash caught his eye and smiled at him.

Again.

Everyone easily noticed that interaction, knowing that these boys knew each other somehow...

...

Cynthia, the Sinnoh Region Champion, looked interested at the three rookies on the screen, proclaiming themselves to have a grand title to be present at the tournament.

—How nostalgic... Those kids really have a lot of potential.

That's right, seeing them there so young made her remember when she earned her degree at a similar age to them... Filling her with nostalgia and happiness to see more coaches following a path similar to hers.

A pillar of white light appeared next to Alan, the figure began to rise.

— At number 5, there is a world-famous actress .

Many people were shocked to hear this. How could an actress be in a worldwide Pokémon battle tournament? It's truly absurd.

Among those people: Paul, Gary, and many other coaches who are currently unimportant.

However, many forgot something crucial: that a Champion shared her work as an actress.

Diantha decided to leave the cafeteria so as not to raise suspicions and not be discovered, while she was followed by a screen that showed her everything... But that line the announcer used made her think that the most important public figures were coming now.

Among some, of course she.

— She's also capable of putting up a good fight, the Kalos Champion...

The line was long enough for all the spectators, who now knew who the next contestant would be.

Diantha smiled slightly upon hearing that, knowing full well that she would be participating in that tournament, leaving her with a great deal of doubt about who the remaining four would be.

The white Pillar disappeared, revealing the Champion, who made a humble gesture of greeting with her arms.

— Participant Diantha!

The entire Kalos Region erupted at the sight of their Champion in the tournament, completely happy, surprised and excited to see her.

Diantha, hearing all the flattering exclamations as she walked away, laughed lightly with happiness knowing that she had the support of her people.

-Thank you...

...

Clemont was with his younger sister Bonnie in their father Meyer's electrical shop.

The three were surprised to see the Kalos Champion there, but it was something Clemont had anticipated. Because if that boy representative was there, why not Diantha, the true Champion?

Bonnie, who could barely pronounce a word, clapped as she saw everyone doing it with laughter, believing it to be correct.

Clemont and Meyer looked at her tenderly.

...

Lysandre looked seriously at the Champion, displeased to see her introduce herself.

—This could be a serious problem... I hope they don't interfere with my plans.

A pillar of orange light fell elsewhere on the platform as the figure climbed onto the field.

— At number 4, the new Champion of Kanto and Johto, a member of the G Pokémon men who brooks no evil...

No one had any doubts about who he was talking about, everything was confirmed from the beginning when they learned about his achievements and were able to identify him.

The only person in the world with 2 Champion titles, the Dragon-type trainer so powerful he was appointed leader of the Elite Four.

One of the best trainers in the world, Champion of two Regions, fighter against evil.

The Pillar of Light ended, proving the double Champion.

— Participant Lance!

In the boardroom, all eyes turned to Lance, who was surprised to find himself there to enter the tournament.

—You're going to participate in that tournament, I think it was something easy to find out—Bruno said, sighing.

—Of course, if he is in contact with the president and he is the author of this Championship—Agatha said smiling.

—Cheer up Lance, you're one of the top 8 strongest trainers—Lorelei said.

Lance nodded with a smile, putting his serious face back on as he continued watching.

Charles looked at the Dragon trainer with a smile, expecting a great battle from him with the opponents he had to fight.

...

Ash looked at Lance with sparkles in his eyes, amazed that his Region's Champion would enter the tournament.

—So the Champion is going to participate too—Brock whispered seriously.

Misty looked somewhat worried at the cap-wearing coach.

They feared that Ash might lose in the tournament, since there were Champions and trainers too powerful for him... Clearly without taking into account the experience and power that Ash Ketchum of the future had.

A pillar of green light landed next to Lance.

— At number 3, successor to the Devon Corporation in the Hoenn Region .

Everyone looked interested at the next trainer, quickly gathering information to find out who it was.

Some succeeded, others did not.

— The Champion of Hoenn...

Okay, everyone figured out the coach's identity. No one would doubt the identity of that Champion...

Unless he's been dethroned, clearly.

The Pillar of Light ended, revealing the man's identity to the audience. The man bowed for his good manners.

— Participant Steven!

The man's fan girls seemed to scream much louder than the other Hoenn Region spectators, happy to see their most powerful trainer appear in the tournament.

Steve looked at his future self with interest, he seemed to be carrying some kind of marble attached to his chest.

-What's that?

It was his curiosity, but also a bit of joy that he'd been invited to the Pokémon World Championships, and even though he wouldn't win, he hoped to give his best.

A yellow pillar of light moved to one side of Steve, the figure was seen ascending.

— At number 2, Pokémon archaeology authority and Sinnoh Champion...

Everyone was clear about who it was due to the second line, since most gave more importance to what was related to Pokémon Battles.

The most powerful woman in the Sinnoh Region, how could you not recognize her...

Pilar finished, showing the woman who raised her hand to greet him.

— Participant Cynthia!

Everyone looked excitedly at the woman from Sinnoh, known not only as a fierce battler but also for her beauty.

Cynthia looked at her future self, feeling nervous but also eager and excited about how strong she might be — wanting to experience it all.

Finally, the lights went out, and a reddish pillar concentrated at the center of the platform…

— "And ranked number 1!"

Colored lights swirled around the reddish pillar, giving it an extra touch of drama.

Everyone stared intently. Number 1... was getting a very special and unique entrance — unlike all the others.

That meant this trainer had to be someone very special...

Back in Galar, certain people felt a strange sense of anticipation.

— "Champion of Galar and current reigning Champion of the Pokémon World Championship."

Sonia was stunned by the description of the next participant…

And not just her — the entire Galar Region was going wild…

Everyone already knew who was about to appear, and they were thrilled to see the strongest trainer in the world.

The person in question grinned widely, getting more and more excited, with Charizard flapping its wings in anticipation of seeing its trainer on that stage.

— "The most powerful and undefeated in the world…"

That description finally captured everyone's attention — evil organizations, Champions from around the world, everyone.

They had never heard of a Champion with such titles. And given how little was known about Galar, people weren't sure what to expect.

There were also arrogant trainers who refused to accept those titles — determined to see this Champion's strength for themselves.

The wisest and most powerful chose to wait and witness it firsthand. But to call someone "the strongest trainer"... felt like a bit of an insult to them.

The people of Galar could hardly contain themselves anymore — desperate to finally cheer for their idol.

The lights went out.

Spotlights flashed on, illuminating the entire stadium at once.

The man with the cape and cap appeared immediately, striking the iconic Charizard pose.

— "Participant: Leon!"

— "LEON!!"

All of Galar screamed in unison, erupting in loud cheers and applause for their star Champion…

Leon smiled broadly at his fans, happy to see just how much they supported him — even in the future.

— "They really admire us, huh?"

Charizard nodded in agreement.

— "Then let's go! We can't let down our fans — we'll defeat them all!"

Charizard unleashed a massive stream of flames into the air, fully determined to win — and hoping his future self would do just that.

Leon then looked hopefully at the gathered trainers, wishing that at least one of them could finally give him the epic battle he had been longing for all these years.

Sonia looked lovingly at future Leon, when suddenly a small shadow appeared behind him — a child version of him.

— "Go on... show them what a real Champion looks like, Leon."

— "So that's Leon," said Lance, seriously.

— "Yes, it seems so. The strongest trainer," added Lorelei with gravity.

— "We'll see about that in the tournament," said Bruno, also serious.

— "Let's hope for some great performances," said Agatha.

Charles stared intensely at the caped trainer before smiling… The others would have a hard time if they hoped to beat Leon.1

— "These are the 8 Champions from each region — all gathered for a miraculous moment. This is the true flavor of the Pokémon World Championship."

Everyone stared at the 8 Masters on the platform, anticipating the incredible battles to come — ones that would shock the world.

And the Masters wouldn't disappoint… especially those with caps.

— "The undefeated Champion of the Masters Tournament, Leon, along with the other 7, will begin in the first round."

Undefeated?

That was on a whole other level…

It's important to note: being a Champion and being an undefeated Champion are two different things.

Never having lost a single battle in your life or anything related to that… left many trainers unsure about how they could face him.

— "Undefeated?" said Gary, grimly.

— "Oh wow… Ash is going to have a tough time if he wants to win," said Professor Oak, worried.

Misty and Brock looked nervously at Ash, who had turned serious upon hearing Leon's accomplishments.

— "Do you think Ash can win?" Misty asked, clearly doubtful.

Brock didn't respond — keeping a stern expression while staring at the undefeated Champion.

Lance and the other members of the Elite Four were in awe.

— "If he really is as strong as they say… you're going to get beaten easily, Lance," Bruno said bluntly.

Lance just watched tensely.

Steven hardened his expression when he heard the word "undefeated"... That would be no easy feat.

Iris felt nervous hearing about Leon's greatness.

Cynthia stared seriously at Leon, hoping to get the chance to battle him.

Diantha watched Leon with concern — struggling to believe all those achievements.

Alain stared at Leon intently. His Charizard roared in challenge at the man.

— "Participant Leon, please say a few words."

— "Come at me! My Pokémon and I will defeat you all!"

Those bold words caused the crowd to erupt into screams and cheers.

— "We'll keep that in mind, Leon. We're going to beat you," said Steven, seriously.

Everyone was stunned to see the most powerful Champion ever…

This was without a doubt going to be a spectacle of explosions and fireworks.

Alright, what do you think?

The next reaction will cover the battle: Alan vs. Leon.
