Chapter 4: The Hexenbiest and a New Threat
Adam's hunt for Adalind Schade was a meticulous, calculated affair. His canonical knowledge was his GPS, his system his arsenal. He knew her routine, where she worked, where she lived. She was a lawyer, and he knew that she wouldn't be easy to corner. She was cunning, manipulative, and incredibly dangerous, but he had the advantage of foresight. He was thinking several steps ahead, and he was not going to let her turn Nick's life into a living hell.
"This is it. The big one. The Hexenbiest. She's the source of so many of the problems in the early seasons. The royal families, the keys, everything. She's a walking plot device, and I need to neutralize her before she can cause any more chaos. I can't kill her. That's not the point. The point is to get her blood, get that vial, and take away her power. That's how this works. I don't need a murder charge, I just need to win."
He found her at a quiet, unassuming coffee shop, ironically, not his own. She was sitting alone, sipping a latte, a look of profound frustration on her face. The Mellifers had been annoying her, and she was clearly not happy about it. Adam walked over, a calm, confident look on his face.
"Adalind Schade?" he asked, his voice a low, commanding tone.
She looked up, a cold, calculating look in her eyes. "Who are you?"
"My name is Adam Stiels. I'm a Grimm. And I know what you are," he said, his voice low enough that no one else could hear. He watched her woge, her face contorting into a rotting, witch-like visage. The stench of brimstone and decay filled the air for a moment.
"So, another Grimm," she sneered, her voice dripping with venom. "Did your friend Nick send you? To finish what he started?"
Adam chuckled, a dry, sarcastic sound. "Nick's a good guy. He plays by the rules. I don't. I'm here to do what he can't. I'm here to put you in your place. And trust me, you're not going to like it."
He didn't give her a chance to react. He lunged across the table, his newfound strength and speed taking her by surprise. He grabbed her by the throat, his hand strong enough to crush her windpipe if he wanted to. He could feel her power, the raw, magical energy thrumming beneath her skin, but it was nothing compared to the Aura of the First Grimm that was now radiating from him. She was terrified, a look of pure fear in her eyes as he held her in a vice-like grip.
"Now, Adalind. This is going to be quick and painless. Or slow and painful. Your choice," Adam said, his voice a low, menacing growl. The compulsion forced her to drop the latte and go completely limp, her woge fading as she felt the absolute power radiating from him. She couldn't fight back. She couldn't even think.
He held her there for a moment, letting the fear sink in. "You're going to leave Nick alone. You're going to leave Juliette alone. You're going to leave this city. If I ever see you again, I'll take a lot more than your blood. Do you understand?"
Adalind, her eyes wide with terror, nodded frantically.
Adam released her, and she fell to the floor, gasping for breath. She was humiliated, a powerful Hexenbiest brought down by a new Grimm with a commanding presence and an unnerving power. He then did what he had to do. He made a small incision on her arm, just enough to draw a few drops of blood. As the blood hit his inventory slot, Adalind screamed in pain. The wound healed almost instantly, but the shock and humiliation of the moment remained. She scrambled to her feet and fled the coffee shop, a broken and defeated woman.

Adam looked at the glowing vial in his inventory, a small, proud smile on his face. He had just taken down one of the most dangerous threats in the early seasons, all by himself. He had a Hexenbiest vial, and the Mellifers were now safe. It was a good day.
