Batman's POV

I was watching a red dot move at incredible speed towards LexCorp Tower.

But why LexCorp Tower of all places?

Could Aaron be working with Luthor?

I lowered my head, thinking hard, trying to figure out why Aaron would fly to LexCorp Tower. But my thoughts were interrupted by an older man in a butler's suit, it was Alfred, the man who had taken care of me after my parents were murdered and my butler.

"Mister Bruce, it's time to eat," he said, placing a silver serving tray with food in front of me.

"I'm not hungry, Alfred," I replied, staring intently at the Batcomputer screen. The red dot was now inside LexCorp Tower.

End of Batman's POV

Third Person POV statd

Aaron was flying quickly toward LexCorp Tower, with no intention of letting Luthor slip away this time. Even if Luthor didn't know the armor belonged to Aaron, Aaron believed it wouldn't have mattered, Luthor would have taken it regardless.

Aaron wasn't afraid of Luthor in the slightest. In Aaron's eyes, Luthor was just a weak man with a god complex. Sure, maybe he was smart as hell, but he was also unbearably arrogant. And let's not forget what happened to Lucifer, because of his pride, he fell from Heaven and committed the first sin.

In Aaron's mind, Luthor would fall too. Arrogance never helps anyone without real strength to back it up.

Aaron reached the massive glass window, peered inside, and saw a bald man in a suit sitting at his desk, turned away from the large window, completely unaware of Aaron floating outside, standing on a levitating stone.

Aaron spoke, loud enough for Luthor to hear him even through the glass between them.

"Open the window, Luthor."

Luthor had been busy typing on his computer, but when he heard that voice, he froze, unmoving. For a brief moment, he thought Superman had finally come for revenge for everything he'd done to him. But Luthor quickly realized that wasn't possible,

Superman didn't have a voice this deep and menacing. Luthor pressed a button on his desk, and the window slowly, but surely, began to open.

Luthor turned his comfortable swivel chair around and saw the man he'd seen on the news yesterday, one of those so-called "heroes" who had saved the world. Luthor despised the people the public called heroes. In his mind, they didn't deserve the title.

Aaron stepped into Luthor's office through the now-open window and stood before him. Luthor masked his disgust and hatred for the man behind a smile and spoke.

"And what does the great Darth Revan want from me?"

Aaron immediately replied.

"Don't play games with me, Luthor. I want the armor your drones took. That armor was mine. I just didn't have the time to retrieve it, and when I came back, it was gone. So, Luthor, you've got two choices, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Return what you stole."

Luthor's face twisted with irritation as he spoke.

"No, no… you misunderstood. This isn't me stealing. This is me… safeguarding it. If you really want it, you'll have to convince me you're not a threat. Until then, it stays with me."

Aaron stared at him for a moment.

He had no intention of playing Superman's games. Without warning, Aaron raised his hand, and Luthor was lifted into the air, feeling as if something invisible was choking him.

"Listen carefully, Luthor. You have five seconds to hand it over. I won't hesitate to kill you."

Luthor's face turned red as he struggled for breath. With great effort, he managed to speak.

"Hkkmm… you know… threatening to kill me in my own office doesn't exactly help your case."

Aaron didn't respond. Instead, he tightened his invisible grip around Luthor's throat.

"You've got two seconds left before I crush your windpipe."

Luthor's expression shifted in panic. With tremendous effort, he kicked a hidden button beneath his desk. Aaron simply watched, curious to see what would happen next.

Suddenly, a squad of men in black suits armed with pistols burst into the room. Seeing Luthor suspended in midair and gasping for breath, they all pointed their guns at Aaron.

"Stand down and release Mister Luthor! I said LET MISTER LUTHOR GO!"

Aaron barely acknowledged them. With a casual flick of his hand, he hurled them all out of the room and slammed the doors shut behind them. The men pounded on the doors and even fired at the handles, but they couldn't open them, Aaron wouldn't allow it.

"Your time's up, Luthor."

Aaron prepared to crush his windpipe, but before he could, he heard Luthor force out a strangled, desperate cry:

"Khkkk… Arghh… I-I g-give u-up!"

Aaron released him, and Luthor collapsed to his knees, clutching his reddened neck. He pressed another button on his desk, struggling to catch his breath, and spoke hoarsely into a microphone.

"B-bring… the armor… to… my… office…" Luthor panted.

Moments later, the same men stormed back into the room, followed by others dragging the Parademon Armor.

With a wave of his hand, Aaron turned all of their weapons back on them.

Luthor finally managed to stand, though his legs were trembling. He clenched his teeth and said coldly,

"You think this makes you safe? You've just declared war on me."

Aaron used the Force to lift every piece of the armor, replying evenly,

"I'm not Superman. Declare whatever you want, but if you do, I'll come back… and I'll rip your windpipe out of your throat."

Then Aaron flew away, heading back to Gotham.

Batman's POV again

I watched as the red dot changed direction and flew back to Gotham. The entire visit to LexCorp Tower hadn't even lasted three minutes, this was far too strange. I stared at the Batcomputer for a moment, but I could see Aaron wasn't planning to go anywhere else and was heading straight back to Gotham.

I started thinking out loud.

"Maybe… hmm… maybe Luthor did something to him. Aaron's not the kind of person who lets things slide when you piss him off."

At the time, I didn't even realize that i was right about that.
