Scene 1: Beneath the SurfaceLocation: Infirmary Storage Basement – Night
Hana stood in the cool, narrow hallway beneath the medical ward, where storage turned into archives. Dust-covered files surrounded her. She scanned an old blueprint marked "Phase 2 – Tunnels."
A rustle.
She spun, flashlight trembling in her hand.
A familiar voice echoed behind her.
"You're not the only one searching for the truth."
Raheel stepped out of the shadows.
She gasped, heart hammering. "You followed me?"
He raised his hands. "I'm not here to hurt you. I just want you to know… I didn't kill your mother."
Hana blinked. "My mother's dead?"
Raheel's face changed. "You didn't know?"
The ground beneath her shifted.
Scene 2: Pieces of a LieLocation: Ayaan's Tent – Later that Night
"Ayaan," Hana whispered, pacing, frantic. "Raheel was in the tunnels. He said my mother's dead."
Ayaan sat still, jaw locked. "We've heard nothing from your family in weeks."
"I need to go to the city. I need answers."
"No." His voice was sharp. "It's too dangerous."
"I'm not asking permission." She stared at him, a fire in her eyes. "I'm telling you—I can't keep fighting someone else's war until I understand mine."
A beat of silence.
"I'll come with you," he said.
Scene 3: Flashback – The LetterLocation: A Hidden Memory
Young Hana, age 17, sat at her mother's desk. The power was out, candles flickering. She held a sealed envelope.
"To be opened if I disappear," her mother had said months ago.
Hana had never opened it. Until now.
Back in the present, she pulled the envelope from her old backpack.
It read:
"If this letter reaches you… I'm gone. Forgive me. But I had to expose them—those who wore white coats and black hearts. You were always my reason to be brave."
Tears blurred her eyes.
Scene 4: The DepartureLocation: Military Checkpoint – Dawn
Dressed in civilian gear, Hana and Ayaan rode out on a motorbike, dust trailing behind them, destination: the capital city.
Unseen by them, someone watched from a nearby jeep.
Raheel.
He spoke into a walkie:"They're moving. Tell the others. The truth is coming out, one way or another."
To be continued…
