The alpha kissed him him gently, cupping Jihoon's face in his large palms. Their lips moved against each other slowly, almost tentative.
Jihoon moaned as Junghoon sucked on his lips, his body heating up.
Junghoon slowly pulled away. "I've been wanting to do that for a while now," he whispered, caressing the omega's lips with his thumb.
Jihoon was in a daze, head still muddled from the kiss. He stared up at the alpha.
"Stop looking at me with those eyes," Junghoon groaned. He kissed Jihoon's nose fondly.
The omega blinked, coming back to his senses. "This was not supposed to happen," he pushed the alpha away, horrified.
Junghoon stared blankly at him, a lazy grin on his face. "It will happen again, Sweet."
Jihoon's cheeks pinkened at the endearment. "Don't call me that," he whispered, taking a step a back.
The alpha tilted his head, eyes twinkling with amusement. "What should I call you then? Darling? Baby? Love—"
"Don't call me anything," Jihoon yelled in frustration, his ears red. "You are my student and I am your lecturer. It won't be more than that."
"Not if I have anything to say about that," Junghoon said. "I'm not going to stop myself from feeling and neither are you."
The omega sighed, a myriad of emotions crossing his face. "I can't do this, Junghoon. Don't repeat this again."
Without waiting for a reply, Jihoon turned away and entered his apartment.
He heard Junghoon leave, the sound of his motorbike fading as the alpha got further away.
The omega stepped in the kitchen to see his friend seated on the counter, a cup of coffee in hand.
"That was one hell of a kiss," Seungho noted. "You got lucky."
"Don't remind me," Jihoon groaned, dropping the paper bag on the counter. "It's not going to happen again."
His friend hummed, taking a long sip of his coffee. "Are you telling yourself or me?"
"I'm not playing mind games with you," Jihoon rolled his eyes. "I'm not going to be in a relationship with my student."
"You are denying yourself happiness," Seungho said plainly. "There is no explicit rule stating you can't be in a relationship."
"Besides, he's hot," he added, biting his lip.
"You are a lost cause," Jihoon sighed. He ran a hand through his hair. "I'm going to bed."
"Can I have these?" Seungho asked, reaching for the paper bag on the counter.
Jihoon hastily grabbed the bag. "No, you can't," he slapped his friend's hand with a glare.
"So stingy," Seungho giggled, retracting his hand. "Already so possesive, huh?"
The omega scoffed and started walking to his room, ignoring his friend's growing laughter.
"Sweet dreams!" Seungho called after him.
Jihoon flipped him off, eliciting more laughter from the other omega.
Saturday was just plain boring.
Jihoon lazed around the apartment, sipping coffee as he absently stared at the television airing a reality show that didn't appeal to him.
It was Seungho's favorite though. But the other omega had gone to his parents' for the weekend.
The doorbell rang, drawing Jihoon's attention. He sighed.
"Who is it?" he asked, dragging his feet to the door.
The omega huffed at the lack of response and threw the door open, eyes widening when he saw who it was.
"Junghoon?" Jihoon whispered, brows furrowed in confusion. He eyed the bags in the alpha's hands.
"So this is how you look on the weekends," Junghoon teased, pushing past him.
The alpha strode to the kitchen like he owned the place. "Your kitchen is empty," he noted, setting the bags on the counter.
Jihoon rolled his eyes, grumpily shutting the door. "I didn't invite you here," he stared sternly at the alpha.
"I came to cook for you," Junghoon declared, a devilish grin on his handsome face.
Jihoon felt his omega stir at that and he nervously rubbed his arms. "You didn't have to. I can take care of myself."
"Clearly not," The alpha disagreed, gesturing at the empty fridge. "Do you even cook?"
Jihoon scowled at him, angry that the other was right.
Junghoon gave him a satisfied smile. "Do you prefer Korean or western?" he asked, rolling up his sleeves.
The omega watched the action like a hawk, eyes drawn to the tattoo on the alpha's arm.
"Korean," he whispered, forcing his gaze to the floor.
"You got it then," Junghoon clapped his hands.
He looked at the omega, lips pulled up in a smirk. "You look cute."
Jihoon's cheeks pinkened at the unexpected compliment and he pulled at the brown hoodie he was wearing.
"T-Thank you," he stuttered, feeling butterflies swirl in his tummy.
Junghoon chuckled.
Thirty minutes later, Jihoon swallowed the last of his braised pork. He glanced at his empty plate, a satisfied sigh escaping his lips.
Junghoon was an insanely good cook.
Was there anything he wasn't good at?
"Thank you for the meal," he glanced at the alpha.
Junghoon nodded faintly. "I'm happy you liked it."
Jihoon swallowed, subtly squirming in his chair under the alpha's intense gaze.
"Why are you doing this?" he asked, playing with his sleeves.
"Is it not obvious?" Junghoon muttered, observing him quietly. "I'm trying to court you, Sweet."
Jihoon's heart hammered in his chest, the alpha's declaration setting his cheeks aflame.
Why was Junghoon doing this to him?
The omega shook his head. "We can't be in a relationship—"
"Says who?" Junghoon interrupted, folding his arms across his chest.
Jihoon sighed. "I am your lecturer and... it is inappropriate."
Because people say so? I don't care what the alpha thinks," The alpha's tone was calm, calculative.
The omega stayed silent, placing his fingers on his lap. He bit his lips, his gaze turning hazy.
"What matters is what we want," Junghoon continued, reaching for Jihoon's trembling fingers.
He laced their fingers together and their eyes met.
"This is too much for me," Jihoon mumbled, tears pooling in his eyes. "I don't know—"
"It's alright," Junghoon kissed his fingers gently, his gaze full of understanding.
"Do you want this?" he asked.
Jihoon found himself nodding. "Can I think about it?" he asked, voice scratchy. He cleared his throat.
"Is two days enough?" Junghoon asked.
"What?" The omega's eyes widened, pulling away. "That's not enough! I need at least a month!"
"Three days."
"Three weeks," Jihoon bargained, showing three fingers to the alpha.
Junghoon grabbed his hand with narrowed eyes. "One week. That's all I'm giving you."
"Fine," The omega bit out grumpily. "One week."
"I'm looking forward to it," The alpha's lips curved into a satisfied smirk.
Jihoon stared into those dark eyes and his heart skipped a beat.
Just what had he gotten himself into?
