Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

Jihoon tapped his foot nervously as he looked around the cafe. His nose twitched faintly at the swirl of scents and a long exhale escaped his lips.

"What would you like to have?"

The omega raised his head to meet the waiter's friendly eyes. "Huh?"

The waiter smiled at him, opening his notepad. "What would you like to have?" he repeated.

"Ah..." Jihoon nodded, brows furrowed in thought. "I would like a mocha latte and a blueberry muffin."

The waiter diligently wrote down the order. "It would be ready soon," he dipped his head and left.

Jihoon looked around the cafe, nervously playing with his fingers.

Blossom cafe was very beautiful. The cream colored walls and brown tiles contrasted nicely, giving the cafe an elegant and homey look.

The large windows allowed Jihoon to clearly see the lively streets, teeming with people and other shops.

"Where is she?" he wondered, looking at his phone.

Half past three.

The omega had been here for almost an hour now and Yujin was still not here.

"Is this some kind of prank?" he mused, looking around, hoping to spot her.

Jihoon drummed his fingers on the round black table, legs fidgety.

The waiter returned and placed the tray on the table. "Here's your order."

The omega gave him a smile. "Thank you."

"You are welcome," The waiter winked at him and left.

Jihoon took the muffin and bit into it. The flavors burst in his mouth and he closed his eyes with a pleased groan.

"That's a very misleading sound, Sweet."

The omega's eyes snapped open at the voice. He met Junghoon's amused gaze and his brows creased.

"Why are you here?" Jihoon asked, eying the alpha warily.

Junghoon ignored his question and sat himself on a chair. "Didn't you miss me?" he faced the omega with a knowing smile.

"You wish," Jihoon rolled his eyes. "I saw you today."

"But I missed you," Junghoon admitted as they stared into each other's eyes.

The omega's heart skipped a beat. "Whatever," he mumbled, feeling his ears redden.

The alpha chuckled lowly, enjoying Jihoon's flustered face.

"What would you like to have?" The waiter's calm voice cut in, his curious eyes staring at Junghoon.

The alpha shook his head. "I'm just waiting for him," he gestured to Jihoon.

"Ah... I see," The waiter whispered, gaze falling on the omega.

Jihoon took a large bite of the muffin, his cheeks puffing up.

He looked like a chipmunk.

"Cute," Junghoon whispered and the omega blushed furiously.

"Well," The waiter smiled at the both of them. He placed a small bell on the table. "If you need anything, just ring the bell."

Jihoon nodded faintly and the man left them.

"Let me take you somewhere," Junghoon said, fixing his gaze on Jihoon.

"Oh..." The omega mumbled, a bit thrown off by the suggestion. "Why is that?"

"I don't like how that waiter was looking at you," The alpha stated calmly. "Makes me want to gauge his eyes out."

The threat hung heavily in the air and Jihoon felt his breath hitch at the intense gaze in Junghoon's eyes.

Why did it sound like the alpha meant it?

 ************

In an abandoned building, a woman was tied to a chair.

The metallic tang of blood clouded the air as the red liquid dripped from her wounded body, staining the ground.

"You thought you could betray us?" A male voice mocked. His alpha pheromones hit her nose and she cowered, head bowed in submission.

She desperately shook her head, her voice muffled by the gag covering her mouth.

The man leaned into her face. "I never liked you anyway," he whispered, tracing her cheek with a pocket knife.

His grin widened, obviously delighted by the fear in her teary eyes. "You look pretty in red, Yujin."

"Still..." The man pulled away with a long sigh. "Boss still thinks you are useful to him."

He snapped his fingers and three armed men walked in. "You know what to do. Boss wants a clean job."

The men approached her and Yujin began to desperately pull at the ropes. The bindings only dug into her skin, her muffled screams filling the room.

Her pathetic attempts only made the man cackle with laughter.

"See you in hell, darling."

That was the last thing Yujin heard before something hit her head, the blow knocking her out.

The man retrieved a cigarette from his pocket and lit it. He took a long drag watching as Yujin's body was dragged away.

 ********************

Jihoon got off the bike, staring up at the tall black gate in wonder.

"Where is this place?" he asked, turning to face Junghoon.

The alpha stepped beside him. "Want to find out?"

The omega watched as Junghoon stepped forward and pushed the gates open. It gave way to a garden covered in white roses.

"Well?" Junghoon asked, snapping him out of his thoughts.

Jihoon stared at the alpha's outstretched hand. He let out a sigh and took it, Junghoon's warm hand immediately enclosing his.

"Let's go," The alpha pulled him through, leading him to the wooden cabin in the middle of the garden.

Junghoon released his hand and pushed the cabin door open, turning on the switch.

The light came on, illuminating the room and Jihoon's eyes widened at the view.

Rows of canvases all covered in exquisite artworks. The room was filled with it.

The omega found himself stepping in, gently stretching a tentative hand to caress one of the paintings.

"This is where I cool my head," Junghoon stated. "Where I bring my imagination to life."

"My mother was a painter before she died. I guess I got it from her," he added with a shrug.

The omega gaze dimmed, heart clenching for the alpha.

"I'm sorry," he whispered and Junghoon chuckled.

"It's been years, Sweet. I barely remember her," he ran a hand through his hair. "So, what do you think?"

"It's beautiful," Jihoon whispered, meeting the alpha's gaze. "You are... really good."

Junghoon gave him a wry smile, reaching out to caress the omega's face. "They are not as beautiful as you."

Jihoon blushed as the alpha's fingers caressed his jaw, his skin heating up. "You can't keep doing this to me."

"Doing what, Sweet?" The alpha stepped even closer now, their noses touching. "Tell me what I'm doing to you."

The omega's breathing turned shallow, Junghoon's coffee scent filling his senses.

It was deeply intoxicating.

Jihoon placed a palm against the alpha's chest. "You are making me... want things I shouldn't have."

Junghoon smiled, lips inching closer to the omega's. "You are allowed to have me, Sweet. I'm not going anywhere."

Jihoon's chest warmed at those assuring words and his scent sweetened. He licked his lips. "Kiss me," he demanded.

The alpha wasted no time.

He swooped in and gently kissed the omega, letting Jihoon match his pace.

Their lips moved in sync passionately, their scents intertwining in the cabin.

Junghoon's hands slipped under Jihoon's shirt, caressing the omega's bare stomach.

Jihoon lips parted in a gasp, allowing the alpha's tongue to invade his mouth. His mouth was plundered mercilessly and he moaned, trying to catch up with the alpha.

He pushed the alpha away, panting. "That's... enough."

Junghoon watched him with amusement. "That was not enough for me, Sweet?"

"What?" Jihoon's lips parted in shock.

That was not enough?!

He barely had time to react before the alpha pulled him closer again, a firm hand on his waist to keep him still.

"I need more," Junghoon caressed his slightly swollen lips.

The alpha was utterly shameless!
