Louissa immediately stood up and answered the phone.
She didn't say a word, but the voice on the other end quickly reported something to her. Her lips slowly curved into a triumphant smile.
"I knew it," she said.
She hung up the phone and turned to her parents, her smile widening.
Lenny's eyes widened in surprise. "It's done?!"
Louissa nodded with satisfaction. "Yes. They're divorced."
Luciano's eyebrows shot up. "The family is that wealthy—a contract worth hundreds of billions—and they just decided they don't want it anymore?"
Louissa's smile deepened. "It doesn't matter. What's important is that I'm finally close to marrying him. Sebastian has loved me for a long time, and his grandfather and mother adore me."
Lenny beamed with pride and nodded. "Of course! Our Louissa is amazing! I personally trained you—elegant, respectable, generous, and intelligent. Who wouldn't fall in love with you?"
