Amari's brows furrowed slightly, but she remained silent.
In a soft voice, Nicky said, "I'll get the door. I have no idea who it might be."
It could be Alexander again, showing up to score a free meal, or Sebastian—angry and ready to cause trouble. Nicky didn't want Amari to be bullied if it was the latter, so she took it upon herself to answer.
When she opened the door, her eyes widened in surprise at the sight of a woman dressed in smart office attire. There was a flicker of recognition in her gaze. "You…?"
"Does Amari live here?" Lea asked with a gentle smile.
Nicky blinked, automatically nodding. "Yes, but… wait, aren't you Miss Lea?"
Lea's smile deepened. "You know me?"
"Of course! I'm a huge fan of Luna!" Nicky's voice was tinged with excitement. "Are you friends with Amari?!"
Something glinted in Lea's eyes before she nodded lightly. "Yes."
