"Of course not." Alexander smiled, pressing the brake and positioning the car into the right lane to turn. He glanced at Sebastian, who was still waiting at the red light, then smoothly turned right, moving with the car in front of him.
During the ride, Amari had no interest in conversing. Every now and then, Alexander spoke, but Amari remained silent until they reached the front of her building. She glanced at him and quietly said, "Thank you, Mr. Handel, for the ride."
Alexander smiled warmly. "No problem, Miss Luna. Make sure to rest early tonight. If you need anything, just give me a call, anytime."
Amari nodded without saying anything further and got out of the car.
As Alexander watched Amari walk away, he found himself staring for a moment. This woman was full of mystery. Would Sebastian regret losing such a gem?
But Amari was already his, and he was certain he would never let her go again.
