After Harry thanked Lea, she said "No problem, we are friends. Do you think you can handle getting rid of the rest of the blocks tonight, or do you want to do it in stages and come back another day?"
Harry gives a determined look and says, "I want to get rid of all of them today. I want to know what it feels like when all the restrictions are removed."
Lea gives a worried look, "You passed out with what is supposedly the easiest ritual. I am worried about how painful the next ones will be. Besides, we have to figure out where we are going to live after this."
Harry gives it some thought and relents, "Your right. We need to rework our plans, and I am not going to leave you to do that yourself again."
Ragnok had been overlooking the ritual to make sure everything goes well. He overheard Lea and Harry talking and asked, "Is there anything wrong with the properties Harry has inherited. The inheritance test will say if some are currently livable."
Harry gives Ragnok a confused look, "What properties?"
Ragnok gives a confused look as well. He had just watched them look at their inheritance tests right before the ritual. He starts to worry that something went wrong with the ritual. Harry should remember everything that happened while the intelligence block was active.
Harry takes out the parchment and looks it over. Lea looks over his shoulder and says, "I don't see anything about properties either."
Ragnok walks over and looks over and realizes, "Oh, you just didn't scroll to see the rest of the results. Just use some magic, touch the parchment, then drag up."
"But I don't have a wand," Harry says.
Ragnok pauses and then realizes, "Oh, sorry. I am used to working with adult wizards and forgot that young wizards can't do magic. We magical creatures don't use wands. Here, let me do it for you."
Lea immediately turns on her magic sight as Ragnok drags his finger up across the parchment. 'It's like an IPad,' Lea muses. Originally, she would have been blinded by Harry's magic, but she didn't forget to train even when she had to start taking care of Harry. Besides expanding her core, she activated her magic sight when Harry was around and slowly gained a tolerance to it. She watches how Ragnok's magic flows into his finger, and it looks exactly how Lea uses her magic. Lea brings out her own inheritance test, scrolls down, and goes deep in thought.
Harry and Ragnok don't notice Lea's pondering since before they could even scroll all the way to the properties they found a section on compulsions.
"Lea, come look at this," Harry while reading through the compulsions.
Lea snaps out of her thoughts and looks over Harry's shoulder and gasps. There were a ton of compulsions. Most of them are dormant and could easily be unlocked by the castor any time they wanted. A couple were partially broken due to Harry having an older mind. One of the compulsions that stood out to Lea that is currently completely active was one that made sure Harry did not want to tell anyone about his abuse. It made so much sense. Lea doesn't believe Harry ever told his friends or his godfather about his abuse. She kind of remember something about the twins saving him from the Dursley's but she thinks they figured it out rather than Harry telling them. Harry tried to deny it even after Lea directly pointed it out.
"How many rituals will it take to get rid of all of those?" Lea asks worriedly.
Ragnok breaks out of his stupor and replies, "Luckily, I think we can group them into two rituals, active compulsions and inactive compulsions. However, it is going to take a lot out of you Harry."
"I think we should do them now Harry," Lea urges.
"But what about what you said earlier?" Harry worries, not wanting to be a burden again.
"Worst case scenario, by morning the one that put all these blocks and compulsions on you will know you are gone. They could activate them at any time and then I won't be able to even get you here based on some of these compulsions. That reminds me, Ragnok can you get rid of any tracing magic if there are any?"
"That is a simple fix. He just needs to drink a potion. We wouldn't even need to do a ritual for the compulsions if there weren't so many," Ragnok answers.
"How would they know by morning Lea?" Harry asks. He has no idea who could have done this, but Lea is talking like she has a theory. How can Lea have a theory if she didn't know about magic before? How did Lea know the goblins could help Harry? He didn't even know the goblins did these kinds of things. Something isn't adding up. Lea is hiding something from him.
By the look on Harry's face, Lea can tell he has worked out some of her behaviors that doesn't make sense. The only reason she could tell is because she was expecting it. Though going to the goblins was a gamble, she did think of the consequences. If it didn't work out, she would reluctantly bring Harry back and go back to the orphanage. She would act like they hadn't run away at all. There would have been no other options at the moment. She would not have given up, but she would have to do more research before she could help Harry.
Luckily, her fanfiction knowledge was not useless and the goblins did help. However, Lea knew the fact that she used knowledge she should not have known wouldn't escape Harry. Even if Harry could not remember his time when his intelligence was blocked, he still would have had questions. Lea has been preparing to tell Harry the whole truth, even though originally was going to take that information to her grave.
If Harry had not time-traveled, she would have only told another partial truth. However, Lea realized that telling Harry the truth would put Harry and Lea on the same page.
This doesn't matter right now though. The important thing is getting Harry healthy.
Lea answers Harry's question by saying, "That is when the Dursley's will notice you are gone and may tell the perpetrator. Now I know you probably have a lot of questions, but they can wait until tomorrow. Don't worry, I will tell you what I have been hiding from you. For now, lets get you healed up and then get some rest. Have you chosen which property you want to go to?"
Harry seems understanding and relooks over the parchment. He chooses one and Ragnok says he will give them the portkey as soon as they are done. They also set up an appointment for the next day. Ragnok says he will give a portkey that will bring them back to Gringotts at their appointment time.
Harry is given the anti-trace potion. He said it tasted like if there were a such thing as fish and chips ice cream. While they set up the next ritual, Ragnok explains they will leave him magically exhausted. Something like the ritual uses his own magic to push out foreign magic. Harry seems to understand the more technical explanation than Lea. She thinks that is because he has actually studied magic unlike her.
"Do you want me to hold your hand through the ritual Harry?" Lea asks, half teasing, half genuine.
"Maybe," Harry says with a little blush.
Lea grabs his hand. The shamans follow a similar procedure as the last ritual. Harry didn't feel that bad after the first ritual. However, the next ritual has many more compulsions to get rid of. The ritual felt like it went on forever. It was late and both Lea and Harry are in kids bodies, so even though Lea was not the one in the ritual, even she started to feel tired. Harry was worse. After the ritual, he was ready to fall asleep right there. Lea had to force him to stand and even then, he had to lean on her. Lea is happy right now that she didn't ignore working on her physical body when she started practicing magic.
They didn't have to worry about money anymore now that Harry has access to some of his vaults. The Atropos vault was mainly books and no investments. However, there was enough money to cover the costs with some left over. Lea asks Ragnok how much of it would cover all the rituals Harry will need. As Lea guessed, the vault holds exactly enough to cover all the costs.
They gave a tired, but polite, goodbye to Ragnok. Ragnok returns the goodbye with a bow. They use the portkey to go to one of the Potter Manors. It is too dark to see the house. They figure they can explore tomorrow. They find the closest bedroom, and Harry flops wile still holding onto Lea on to the bed and falls asleep. Lea had to shimmy out of Harry's hold. It was a lot of effort for a very sleepy kid. She was very tempted to just fall asleep right there, but she pushed through. She got free and put the covers onto Harry. Finally, she went to the bedroom across from where Harry is sleeping and fell asleep herself.
