Chapter 16 - CHAPTER16: YOU ARE DIGGING YOURSELF IN TO A HOLE

Gus started laughing, a deep, throaty sound that filled the room. "You guys seem to forget one thing - a leader isn't made because of how powerful he is, or because he was placed in charge. A leader is made through trust and respect. And do you really think that if I'm taken down from being the leader of the League of Enders, anybody would respect you guys?"

The room fell silent, with the council members exchanging uneasy glances. Arcadian's expression turned cold. "We'll take that risk," he said. "We've made our decision, and it's final."

Gus chuckled again, shaking his head. "I'm not worried about the decision. I'm worried about the stability of the League. Without me at the helm, you'll be facing chaos and power struggles. Mark my words."

Arcadian's eyes locked onto Gus. "My sister, Arcadia, will take over as the new leader of the League of Enders. She's the best person for the job, and I'm confident she'll do what's best for the League."

Gus raised an eyebrow, a hint of surprise on his face. "Arcadia? You're really going to put her in charge? She's... unpredictable."

Arcadian's expression turned determined. "She's the right person for the job, and I won't let anyone else take the position."

If you truly believe Arcadia is the person to lead the League of Enders, then call all the membersfor a meeting tell everyone to arrive here within the next 10 minutes. Gus said with a smile on his face.

Arcadian's voice rang out across the comms system. "All members of the League of Enders, please assemble in the meeting hall with in 10 minutes."

The message was clear and concise, and the members began to make their way to the meeting hall.

Gus watched Arcadian with a sneer on his face. "You're really going to hand over the reins to your sister? I'm curious to see how this plays out."

As the members gathered, Arcadian stood at the front of the room. "Members of the League of Enders, the council has made a decision regarding the leadership of our organization. As of now, Gus is no longer the leader of the League. Arcadia will take over as the new leader."

The room erupted into a mixture of murmurs and discussions, with some members looking surprised and others seeming to expect the change. Gus's sneer turned into a calculating gaze as he watched Arcadia's reaction.

Rige snickered to himself. "Well now, Arcadian's digging himself a hole," he thought. "Gus is well-loved by these people. He's been their leader for the past 35 years, and not even I would of thought of something this foolish."

Rige's eyes were fixed on Arcadian, amusement on his face. He shook his head slightly, wondering what had possessed Arcadian to think that replacing Gus was a good idea.

As the members of the League continued to discuss the leadership change, Rige leaned back in his chair, his expression thoughtful. He knew that this decision would not be easy to implement, and he wondered how Arcadian planned to handle the potential backlash.

"Who the fuck do you people think you are?" one of the commanding officers, Jack, growled. "You think you can just replace Gus? Then you have another thing coming."

Jack's face was red with anger, his voice rising as he spoke. "Gus has been our leader from the time I be came a member, and you think you can just waltz in here and take his place? I don't think so." He said fearlessly.

"Is this somebody's idea of a joke? If so, it's not funny. If Gus leaves, then so will we," Jacks sister Tatana said with a sneer.

The room fell silent, with the other members of the League looking on in shock at Jack's outburst.

Arcadian's expression turned stern, his eyes locked on Jack. "I understand your loyalty to Gus," he said, "but the decision has been made. Arcadia will be taking over as the new leader."

Jack and Tatana stood tall, their expressions resolute. "We'll take the Ninja Core team with us," Jack said. "The Ninja Core team was an elite group of 5,000 highly trained ninjas, feared and respected; they were all hand-picked and trained by me and Tatana."

Arcadian's eyes narrowed, his expression calculating. "You think the Ninja Core team will follow you?" he asked. "They're bound to the League, not to you personally."

Jack smiled coldly. "Well that's were your wrong" . "The Ninja Core team is loyal to me and my sister, and both of us are loyal to Gus."he said with a sneer.

"I've heard enough of your insolence," Arcadia said, holding a young woman by the throat. Two small streams of blood flowed down her neck. "You will all submit to me, or this girl dies."

"Sister, what the fuck are you doing? Stop, let her go now!" Arcadian shouted.

"I'm doing what needs to be done," Arcadia said, her eyes flashing crimson.

"Arcadian, I'm warning you now," Gus said, his eyes turned bloodshot as he pointed his gun at Arcadian's heart. "If anything happens to that young lady, you will die alongside your sister."

"Lady Arcadia, I beg of you, please spare my daughter, and I'll do anything you ask of me," Jennifer said, tears falling down her face as blood stained her abdomen from her injury.

"Rige, is that really you? Rige, please save our daughter," Jennifer cried.

"Don't worry about Joss, Jennifer. I will handle Arcadia," Rige said. Then he turned to face Arcadia. "Arcadia, you've gone too far. Put my daughter down or I will flatten this entire meeting hall," Rige said, his eyes turning dark red.

As he spoke, Rige's body began to transform. His muscles bulged, and his senses heightened. Fur burst forth from his skin, and his limbs lengthened into powerful claws. He let out a mighty roar as he transformed into a werewolf, his clothes shredding apart as his body expanded.

"You think you can threaten me, Rige?" Arcadia sneered, her grip on Joss's throat tightening. "I'll do whatever it takes to get what I want."

"You're going to regret messing with my daughter," the werewolf Rige growled, baring his teeth.

"Don't make me laugh, Rige. This girl doesn't even know you're her father," Arcadia said with a sneer, flashing her vampire fangs.

"That doesn't matter," Rige growled. "I told you to put her down."

"Oh, I will put her down don't worry. But first I need a drink," Arcadia said, sinking her fangs into Joss's neck. Joss's eyes widened in terror as Arcadia began to drink her blood.

"You monster die!" Rige roared, charging towards Arcadia.

Arcadia looked up, her eyes gleaming with malevolence. "You'll never stop me, Rige," she hissed, her fangs still buried in Joss's neck.
