Meanwhile: It's The next day, Breaton heads to the airport with Olissa, who at the last minute decided to join him on his vacation.
"So, I decided to join you, where are we heading first?" Olissa asked.
"The first place we're heading is to St. Martin's to visit my dad, whom I haven't seen for like two years," Breaton said excitedly. "Then we'll be heading to Antigua and Barbuda for there Carnival, which is held on July 25th. Then the next day, we are heading to Nevis for Culturama on July 26th. We'll rest for five days, then head to Grenada for Spicemas, which is on August 1st. We'll spend four days there, then head to Barbados for Crop Over on August 5th. After that, we'll head over to Saint Lucia for La Rose Flower Festival on August 30th, 2025. That's the last event, Yayo."
"Well, you really have your whole vacation planned out, sounds like fun," Olissa said.
"So, tell me more about your father," Olissa said.
"My father is a very outgoing man. He likes watching movies and is also very inquisitive, so be careful not to mention anything about you being a witch around him. ," Breaton replied.
Olissa's eyes widened slightly. "Ah, got it! I'll make sure to steer clear of any... sensitive topics," she said with a smile.
Breaton grinned, relieved that Olissa understood. "Yeah, it's always better to be safe than sorry with him. He's a great guy, though. You'll like him."
As they chatted, the airport's departure board flickered in the background, a reminder that their island-hopping adventure was about to begin.
"I'm sure I will," Olissa said, nodding. "I'm looking forward to meeting him. What's his name, by the way?"
"My dad's name is Oliver Goodheart," Breaton replied. "And don't worry, he's not as intimidating as he sounds. Just be yourself, and you'll get along great."
Olissa smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. "Sounds like a plan. I'm ready to meet your father, Oliver!"
The airport's intercom system crackled to life, and a friendly voice announced: "Attention passengers, this is your final boarding call for Flight 121 to Philipsburg, St. Martin's. Please report to Gate 17 immediately if you haven't already boarded. We will begin closing the doors shortly. Thank you for your prompt attention."
"So Breaton do you have any siblings." Olissa asked with a smile.
As they boarded the plane, Breaton said, "I've got a younger sister named Ava. We're pretty close, despite her always trying to borrow my stuff without asking."
Olissa smiled, intrigued. "Ah, sibling rivalry, huh? What's Ava like?"
Breaton thought for a moment before responding, "She's bubbly, always full of energy. We have our moments, but I love her to bits."
"I also have two older brothers who are twins, named David and Joseph. They often tease me about being single and inexperienced," Breaton added with a chuckle. "But the joke will be on them this time, you're with me, so I'm looking forward to seeing the looks on their faces when they see you," Breaton said with a smile as he looked at Olissa.
Olissa's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Oh, I'm looking forward to meeting them," she said, playfully squeezing Breaton's arm. "I'm sure they'll be... enlightening."
Breaton grinned, feeling a sense of pride and excitement. "Yeah, I'm sure they'll be... surprised," he replied, chuckling.
As they settled into their seats, Breaton glanced at Olissa, who was smiling at him. "You ready for this?" he asked, nodding towards the seatbelt sign.
Olissa nodded, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Bring it on," she said, playfully squeezing his arm.
As the plane took off, Breaton and Olissa chatted excitedly about their upcoming adventure. They talked about the different festivals they would attend, the food they would eat, and the sights they would see.
"I'm so glad I decided to join you on this trip," Olissa said, snuggling into her seat. "It sounds like it's going to be an amazing experience."
"I'm glad you could come," Breaton replied, smiling at her. "I think it's going to be a lot of fun."
As they soared through the skies, Breaton couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. He was looking forward to introducing Olissa to his father and showing her the beauty of the Caribbean islands.
After a while, the flight attendants came by to offer snacks and drinks. Breaton and Olissa ordered a couple of sandwiches and a bottle of water, and settled in for the rest of the flight.
As they ate and drank, they continued to chat and laugh together. Breaton couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with Olissa.
Before long, the pilot's voice came over the intercom, announcing their descent into Philipsburg, St. Martin's. Breaton and Olissa buckled their seatbelts and prepared for landing.
As the plane touched down on the runway, Breaton felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. He was finally going to introduce Olissa to his father, and he couldn't wait to see how they would get along.
"Are you ready to meet my dad?" Breaton asked Olissa, smiling at her.
Olissa nodded, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Bring it on," she said, playfully squeezing his arm.
Breaton grinned, feeling a sense of pride and excitement. He knew that his father would love Olissa, and he couldn't wait to see the two of them interact.
As they disembarked the plane and made their way to baggage claim, Breaton couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. He was looking forward to spending the next few days with Olissa and his father, and he knew that it was going to be an amazing experience.
As they collected their luggage, Breaton and Olissa made their way to the arrivals area, where they were greeted by the warm sunshine and vibrant atmosphere of the Caribbean island. Breaton hailed a taxi and gave the driver the address of his father's house.
The drive took about 20 minutes, winding through the island's scenic roads and passing by beautiful beaches and lush greenery. Breaton and Olissa chatted excitedly about their plans for the next few days, and Breaton couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and contentment.
As they pulled up to his father's house, Breaton felt a sense of nostalgia wash over him. He had spent many happy times in this house, and he was excited to share it with Olissa.
The taxi driver pulled up to the front door, and Breaton paid the fare. As they stepped out of the taxi, Breaton's father, Oliver Goodheart, emerged from the house, a big smile on his face.
"Breaton, my boy!" Oliver exclaimed, opening his arms for a hug. "It's so great to see you!"
Breaton grinned, hugging his father tightly. "It's great to see you too, Dad," he said. "I've brought someone special to meet you."
Oliver's eyes lit up with curiosity as he looked at Olissa, who was standing beside Breaton, smiling warmly.
"And who might this lovely young lady be?" Oliver asked, extending his hand in greeting.
Breaton smiled, feeling proud to introduce Olissa. "Dad, this is Olissa. We met recently, and I'm really excited for you to get to know her."
Olissa smiled and shook Oliver's hand, her eyes sparkling with warmth. "It's great to meet you, Mr. Goodheart," she said. "Breaton's told me so much about you."
Oliver's eyes twinkled with amusement. "I'm sure he's told you all about my infamous sense of humor," he said, chuckling. "Come on in, both of you. Let's get settled and catch up."
"Oh, by the way, Breaton, I heard your mother will be here shortly. I think she's taking the next flight," Oliver said.
"No, way. If I had known that, I would have waited for her," Breaton replied.
"While we're waiting for her, you can introduce this lovely young lady to your siblings," Oliver said with a smile.
Breaton smiled and nodded, turning to Olissa. "Okay, let's go meet my siblings," he said, gesturing towards the living room.
Olissa smiled and followed Breaton, who introduced her to his sister Ava, who was sitting on the couch, engrossed in her phone. Ava looked up and smiled, waving at Olissa.
"Hi, I'm Ava," she said, bouncing up from the couch. "It's nice to meet you, Olissa."
Olissa smiled and hugged Ava. "It's great to meet you too, Ava. I've heard a lot about you."
Breaton then introduced Olissa to his twin brothers, David and Joseph, who were playing a game on their attention. They both looked up and grinned, waving at Olissa.
"Hey, I'm David," one of the twins said, winking at Olissa.
"And I'm Joseph," the other twin said, grinning mischievously. "We're the charming ones in the family."
Olissa laughed and chatted with the twins, who were both friendly and outgoing. As they talked, Breaton couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that his siblings were getting along with Olissa.
Just as they were all getting comfortable, Ava suddenly piped up. "So, Breaton, tell us more about Olissa. How did you two meet?"
Breaton smiled, launching into the story of how he and Olissa met. Olissa chimed in, adding her own anecdotes and stories. The siblings all listened with interest, asking questions and making jokes.
As they chatted, Breaton couldn't help but feel grateful for his family and the warm welcome they were giving Olissa. He knew that this was just the beginning of a wonderful adventure together.
As they all laughed and chatted happily, a knock came from the door. "That must be Mom," Breaton said, getting up to answer it.
He opened the door to reveal Nadia, beaming with a big smile on her face. "Hello, sweetie!" she exclaimed, hugging Breaton tightly her name was Nadia Good-heart .
Nadia's warm presence filled the room as she greeted each of her children with a hug and a kiss. When she saw Olissa, her eyes lit up with curiosity and warmth. "And you must be Olissa," she said, extending her hand in greeting.
Olissa smiled and shook hands with Nadia, who welcomed her with open arms. "It's so lovely to meet you, dear," Nadia said, smiling warmly.
As they all gathered in the living room, Nadia asked, "So, tell me more about Olissa. How did you two meet?"
Breaton smiled, launching into the story. "Well, Mom, it's a bit of a funny story. I actually hit her with my car on a rainy night when I was driving home from work."
Nadia's eyes widened in surprise. "Oh dear, that doesn't sound like a great start!" she exclaimed.
Breaton chuckled. "I know, I know, but despite the chaos, we hit it off right away. Olissa was really understanding, and we ended up laughing about it together."
Olissa nodded, smiling. "And then we started talking, and it just clicked. We've been talking ever since."
Nadia smiled, pleased with the story. "Well, sometimes the best things come from unexpected places," she said. "I'm glad you two were able to make something positive out of a splashy situation."
Oliver swept Nadia up in a princess carry, and she laughed, wrapping her arms around his neck. Nadia eyes crinkled at the corners as she smiled up at him.
"My dear, you're home," Oliver said, smiling at her.
Nadia's eyes sparkled with amusement as she smiled back. "I'm home, my love," she replied As he set her down gently
he then turned to the others in the room and spoke. "Kids, I want you all out of the house. Your mother and I need to discuss something, and I'd like you to leave and not come back for the next five to six hours."
Breaton's eyes widened slightly, but he nodded. "Alright, dad. We'll go hang out elsewhere for a bit."
The other kids followed Breaton's lead, gathering their things and heading out the door. As they left, Nadia closed the door behind them and turned back to Oliver, a sly smile spreading across her face. "Now, where were we?"
Ava rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath, "The two of them are so old and gross." She shook her head and turned to her siblings."
"Yeah, they're like newlyweds all over again," David said with a chuckle. "I swear, Mom and Dad's love is like a sitcom. We're just the audience, watching their romantic antics." The siblings shared a laugh, amused by their parents' affectionate nature.
"Anyway, let's help Breaton with his new girlfriend. She's the shortest one around the city," David said with a smile. "The first place we should go is Loterie Farm."
"Yeah, let's go support Breaton and his new girlfriend," Joseph chimed in, grinning. "Loterie Farm sounds like a blast. We can hike and explore the beautiful surroundings."
Ava rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "Just don't scare her off, Breaton. We don't want to have to console you again."
Breaton playfully shot back, "Hey, I'm a catch! She's lucky to have me."
The group laughed and teased each other as they headed to Loterie Farm, excited for the adventure ahead.
