The day stretched, and night fell too quickly. Throughout the day, I kept thinking of everything that happened. The surge of energy during the race, the unnatural speed, and the glowing mark I still had no idea what it meant jumbled through my mind. And then the party.
Mira took her to time to glam me up, and with a glance at my reflection in the mirror, I had to admit she did a pretty great job. She let my wavy dark hair cascade down my back like a sea of ink. My green eyes were accentuated with dark smoky eyeshadow, my lips pink, plumpy and glossy and my cheeks were tinted with faint blush. I had on a red mini dress that clung to my slim figure like a second line, defining my curves, and a plunging neckline that showed my cleavage.
I felt all this was too much for a party aranged for the Thornvalle brothers party, but trust Mira to never take no for an answer when it came to playing dressup.
