Rhydian sat in the passenger's seat, jaw tight and arms crossed as he stared out the window. Tavian was seated at the back.
The silence in the car was suffocating. Eventually, I decided to clear the tension in the air.
"What's with the gloomy mood?" I glanced sideways at Rhydian and Tavian's reflection in the rearview window. "You're both acting like we're going for a funeral."
"What else could it possibly be?" Rhydian bit out and I shrugged.
Rhydian scoffed. "We might as well be."
"It's not like this is the first time he's called us in," I said with a shrug. "You're always this dramatic."
Rhydian glared at me. "And you're always this damn annoying."
I grinned. "Guilty as charged."
"After our delightful family reunion, I say we throw a party back at the condo. I'll invite all the baddest girls."
