Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: The Architect's Genesis

When the very first universe reached the inevitable end of its life, teetering on the precipice of non-existence, it bore a single, monumental being: a True, Perfect, and Absolute Immortal. This being was destined to serve as an anchor beam for the nascent cosmos that would follow, a conduit through which traits and characteristics of the dying universe could be adopted by the new.

This grand cycle of universal death and rebirth, each birthing its own Absolute Immortal, continued through the eons. The 2nd universe gave rise to its immortal, passing its legacy to the 3rd, and so on, until the dawn of the 7th universe. As the 7th universe, too, approached its cosmic twilight, it bore its own absolute immortal – a magnificent dragon, who through the boundless expanse of his own universe, ascended to the status of a god.

Knowing his universe's end was at hand, this Dragon God did not idly await oblivion. Instead, he traversed the myriad planets within his dying realm, seeking out the sacred World Trees that anchored their realities. He plucked these cosmic giants, one by one, and through an act of divine will and unimaginable power, fused them together, forging the singular, monumental entity that would become the Universal Tree. With this done, he gathered his people, those loyal to him, and led them beyond the very confines of his universe, a daring escape from impending annihilation.

Then came the birth of the 8th universe. As it began to unfurl from the cosmic void, the Dragon God, poised on its edge, inserted his very essence into its nascent form. He then meticulously embedded his newly forged Universal Tree within it. This act granted him a profound degree of control over the fledgling cosmos. With this unparalleled influence, he began to sculpt its nascent life, creating the foundational beings of the 26 distinct races and the whimsical Fairy race. Within this grand design, each of the 182 primordials—seven for each of the 26 races—was imbued with a distinct color. This vibrant hue intrinsically represented their unique personality and inherent power. It was also due to the influence of the Dragon God's varied interests that the universe, in its own creative acts, brought in Transmigrators from different universes, fostering a rich tapestry of diversity.

His first and most intimate act of creation was the forging of the 7 primordial dragons, known as Veracious Dragons. Born directly from the very flesh and blood of the Dragon God himself, each embodying one of seven distinct, fundamental colors. These magnificent beings, in turn, extended their lineage by creating a foundational pair, male and female, for each of their seven colors. These pairs intermated, had children, and from their proliferation, the mighty dragon race multiplied and spread across the cosmos.

Next, he turned his power towards the Dwarves. Their seven mighty primordials, the Ignarthims, were meticulously forged from the 7-colored origin fire of the universe and the 7-colored earth drawn directly from the Dragon God's domain. These newly formed primordial Dwarves then channeled the residual, potent flames and earth from their creation to laboriously forge and give rise to the broader Dwarven race.

Driven by his inherent fascination with the number seven, the Dragon God then turned his attention to his Urkind Spirits—the Primordial Spirits of Origin. He focused specifically on the Spirit of Light and the Spirit of Darkness. From the radiant essence of the Spirit of Light, he sculpted the 7 primordial angels, or Aetherions. Simultaneously, from the abyssal depths of the Spirit of Darkness, he brought forth the 7 primordial demons, or Thenethars. The Aetherions, in turn, wove the pure energy of light into existence, giving rise to the vast angel race, who now reside in the luminous Divine Realm. Conversely, the Thenethars embraced the shadows, creating the numerous demon race, who make their home in the grim Demon Realm.

Continuing his meticulous work with the Urkind Spirits, the Dragon God then turned to the Spirit of Chaos and the Spirit of Void/Nothingness. From the tumultuous, unbridled power of the Spirit of Chaos, he sculpted the 7 primordial devils, known as Pyranthos. In parallel, from the infinite emptiness of the Spirit of Void/Nothingness, he brought forth the 7 primordial nihiliths, or Nulions. The Pyranthos, in turn, harnessed the raw, destructive energies of chaos to birth the widespread devil race, who now make their tumultuous home in the Chaos Realm. The Nulions, reflecting their origin, manifested from the very essence of void, creating the elusive nihilith race, who reside within the boundless desolation of the Void Realm.

His creative focus then shifted to the opposing forces of creation and destruction, embodied by the Spirit of Creation and the Spirit of Destruction. From the nurturing essence of the Spirit of Creation, he brought forth the 7 primordial elves, or Eluviar. Each Eluviar, imbued with a distinct color, possessed an intrinsic power of creation. These 7 Eluviar, mirroring the generative lineage of the True Dragons, looked inward to their very cores, where the power of creation resided. From this inner wellspring, each of their distinct colors manifested a pair of elves—a male and a female—who then intermarried and had children, giving rise to the diverse elven race.

Concurrently, from the raw, untamed power of the Spirit of Destruction, he forged the 7 primordial giants, or the Titans. These colossal beings, also embodying unique colors, followed a parallel path to the True Dragons in their procreation. Each of the 7 Titans poured forth their very flesh and blood; the distinct colored flesh of each Titan solidified into the form of male giants, while their corresponding colored blood coalesced into female giants. These newly formed giants then intermated and had children, populating the world with the formidable giant race. With these initial acts, the Dragon God had laid the fundamental bedrock of sentient life in the 8th universe.
