Back to a bit earlier before Gray showed Yuto new possibilities, but after Yuto's speech. Gray and Norn were finally let out of their Straitjackets and were just chained to their seats instead. Gray liking the feel of the chain planned to rip it off with her Umamusume strength later and take it for herself. Gray soon got his laptop as they were getting ready to switch to a new introduction. She was looking up Yuto Nobunaga's name online and seeing what he was up to in the past.
That's when the boss got back on the podium and began the next introduction. Not caring if everyone was paying attention or not. She spoke saying," Okay everyone the next person up is the head of our brand new Publicity and Marketing Division. We will need her when we want to advertise and market the team and the products we release. Plus she will also lead our censorship division in case we need something removed from our products."
She soon continued saying," She is young and very likely to resonate with the average youth of today. She is also starting as a fresh graduate and is new to the team like you are, so please welcome her with open arms. Now step on the podium Hana Tohouin." Soon Hana walked to the podium nervously and got onto it. She then began to speak saying.
Hana Tohouin POV:
Hana here, and I recently just graduated from college OMG. I got my degree in marketing and I am part of the largest Uma Musume fan club in the world. Led by our great leader ADigitalUmaFan who is very well connected to many famous Uma Musume. I am a huge fan of many famous Uma Musume like I was totally mad when those jerks booed Rice Shower after she upset Mihono Bourbon. Like booing any Uma Musume after they worked hard in a race is totally a cardinal sin.
The online wars back then were crazy. Even arguing over our own faves was wild. Mine are Rice Shower, Haru Urara, Twin Turbo, Agnes Digital, and Nice Nature. Like if you guessed I'm an underdog fan then you're right girl I totally am. Still, my love for them caused me to get a job in marketing and promotion.
Still, I totally couldn't find a job anywhere. My momma says to me I have to start outside my dream job and get experience in other marketing jobs first. Aww, why is it so hard to get a job in marketing Uma Musume, and their races? That's when I out of now I found an ad online looking for employees to work under an Uma Musume sports team. I spoke to my fellow group members online.
With our expertise, we discussed its authenticity and suspiciousness. I was sent as our spy to do a job interview and sign up for a job interview as head of marketing, censorship, and public management. I see it's a job that would reject me instantly, but that's fine it would be enough for me to just see what these guys were like. I put in data on my resume that would get me the job interview but rejected immediately for it. A perfect ploy to get the proper look around as the interview would be at their base, and see the Uma Musume there.
Soon I found myself having an interview at the place just as planned. I did not expect a literal freaking limo to pick me up from my house. I obviously decided to film everything with a hidden camera run by our group to see everything that's happening so they can call the cops if anything happens to me or at the place. We drove to the outskirts of Nara into a forest and I was admittedly nervous. That's when we stopped by a massive walled structure and once we got past the walls it was a gigantic base.
The guide that was with me in the car explained to me," Surprisingly, yes at our base we have everything we need to build the best team. We have training grounds of every type, healing and rehabilitation centers, multiple different gyms, and needed supplies in multiple storage areas. We also have dormitories for guests, staff, and players, a musical performance training center, offices, places to have fun, and the main base containing multiple types of meeting rooms. The last one is where we are headed for your interview. We soon arrived at the main base.
I was in absolute awe the entire place was brand new, state-of-the-art, and a great place to work. Still outside of staff I saw no Uma Musume team members and that's kinda weird. I was soon led to the office and in my eyes I saw 3 interviewers. One that looked like Tamamo Cross if she were rich and had different colorings. A maid that looked like Super Creek if she had different colorings.
Finally, a butler that looked like a male tall Inari One with different colorings as well. The rich Tamamo Cross introduced herself as I realized she was human and not an Uma Musume," I am Mina Sakamoto/Du Vault the owner and founder of this team. Next to me are my assistants and fellow heads of staff Suzu Yamamoto and Takeshi Oda. Now let's get this interview started, and before you get too nervous I'm saying I hope you like the place so far UmaLover98." I was shocked she knew who I was and the whole mission was compromised.
She then began laughing at me saying," Girl it's me NewSportFashionEra1." I was shocked I knew that name a newbie who joined the group who had a lot of expertise that helped grow the group into a major one. She had expertise in business, fashion, and Uma Musume athletics. The mission was turned off as soon as she was building her own Uma Musume sports team, and she was too busy to tell us that she was the one who sent the help-wanted requests online. I was relieved and she knew who I was and what I was capable of doing she soon hired me and I now have a job here.
I soon learned that Mina was the head of Dark Wear Fashion and a successful businesswoman around the world. She was trying to build a team to surpass her sister who didn't have the right to overshadow her at all. She also wanted her team to play in the Free Style Running League. I looked it up and it was the largest sports league in the world, but no one knows about it in Japan. It had the same status in Japan as Soccer did in the USA.
After being hired I watched the sport itself and it was brutal and amazing. I always wondered what foreign Uma Musume did after they graduated from high school. I grew interested in the scene, as I learned the team seems to be having a hard time recruiting Uma Musume thanks to the lack of popularity in it. We're also in the early stages as the boss and I started marketing the scene and team online. I saw the other teams in the country and found out that all of them are awful in comparison to us.
We soon were relying on agencies to find us team members, and soon it paid off. We immediately got a team of 15 who were looking for an organization like ours. After negotiating with their agent we got them to try out and send us a performance video. The first time I saw them I was stunned by how much they resembled my favorite Uma Musume. Then the tryouts began and I was stunned at how good they were and how different their personalities were from their lookalikes.
First was the team captain Nice Nature lookalike Victory Gate. She was like an adaptive bullet able to strike at any weakness and opening strategically destroying opponents. Then the vice captain Mama Blues the Maruzensky lookalike. She was a rushing gale who was hard to catch up to, but easy to block strategically. Next is Tactical Gray the Mr. CB lookalike.
She is a tactical and sadistic demon willing to do anything to break her opponents and win. Then there's Great Wonder the Gold Ship lookalike. She was ladylike and brilliant, but too nice to unleash her full capabilities. Next is Tyrant Rose the Cheval Grand lookalike. She is an untouchable ghost passing through obstacles with ease, and uncatchable to her opponents.
Next is Enduring Rain the Duramente lookalike. The team's tallest and hardest worker with the ability to power through her opponents. Then there's Edged Lily the Symboli Rudolf lookalike. A lover of competition who is a great runner in any terrain, but is bad at communication. Then after is the team's strongest Steel Valkyrie the Haru Urara lookalike.
She is the unbelievable embodiment of a perfect valkyrie, able to think and do perfectly to achieve victory. After her is the one with the most attitude on the team and the Rice Shower lookalike High Spice. She is like a mean muscle car able to go long distances and crush you with her pacing, stamina, and explosive power, and not care what you think. Next is the Tokai Teio lookalike Imperial Punk. She is a punk colored lightning bolt able to combine everything in a unique blend to victory.
After is Black Diamond the dark hyper lookalike of Smart Falcon. She is rebellion and energy mixed in a sonic burst. Next up is the lovable Sweet Pollen the Kitasan Black lookalike. She is a kind and mischievous devil like a bumper car that will crash through you at full speed. Next is the team's smartest Endless Journey the Twin Turbo lookalike.
She is a master of technique, strategy, and form able to find the correct combination to crush her opponents. After is the most outgoing in the team Norn Viking the Oguri Cap lookalike. She is flexible with quick adaptations and runs like she has no restrictions in strategy, form, and technique. Then the local crazy person King Wild, the Mejiro McQueen lookalike. She is a sprinter at all courses running like the crazy person she is like she has infinite energy.
I was speechless the first time I saw them. I almost thought they were a bunch of superstar Uma Musume who decided to quit Tresen to join an upstart organization. Like no matter how rich this team was it made no damn sense. I then learned they just looked like them and they're not their lookalikes. It made me stricter on their tryouts, treating them like they're fakes using their lookalike's fame to succeed.
Then they began running and I was blown away. These girls were not only good, but they were very much better than their lookalikes. They were older too and had very different personalities. I never foresaw a team containing any iteration of both Duramente and Kitasan Black working together on the same team. They're even great friends who work well together too, and I was speechless.
After their physical tryouts, we watched their musical performance that they recorded. I was an expert in seeing cuts, edits, and visual manipulation in videos with my experience on the internet. I can even see AI in videos and can tell when it's being used. I even created my own program that can use and discern AI. Which the video had none of, heck it was so cheap it didn't even have any major editing in it.
After checking the video we watched it together with the Uma Musume we were trying out. I only had my program, which I had to take so many programming classes to make, check the video, so I never watched it. The video began and soon I was amazed. The sound of the song was harder than anything before in Uma Musume songs, but it hyped you up. The song flowed and had hard beats making you feel it to your core.
Then the dancing, was nothing like the cute dances in Uma Musume performances. The other harder songs only used minimal dancing. They danced in sync, on tempo, and cooler than anything I've seen before. They didn't hold back because the song had harder beats or cared if they sacrificed cuteness like other Uma Musume performances. They just danced and it was magnificent.
They then combined both into an amazing performance. Still, how dare they, how there they film it like this? How dare the camera make their performance weaker? How dare the production and outfits hold them back? It was wrong, and unfair, why couldn't they have more resources and money with expert advice making it better?
That's when it hit me they're here now and we have all of that. It's exactly what they want and need to make this performance greater. That day I swore I would do everything to make the performance I saw reach its full potential. I swore to see them perform that performance and so much more to the world. I will make the world know their names and never forget them.
Soon the day of the staff meeting came. We met our new head coach and he was very popular and it seems the rumors online about him were false. Still, the fact that he can seduce strong Uma Musume just because of who he is, is just profound. Then everyone else introduced themselves as I noticed a lot of my coworkers seemed to look like Uma Musume from Tresen academy. Now it makes me wonder if I also look like the human version of an Uma Musume and who?
Soon after many eventful and entertaining speeches it seems to be my turn. I was nervous and worried that my speech wouldn't have the same impact. Then I remembered my job is to tell them how I feel, not to be flashy. Once I got to the podium I began speaking after taking a deep breath," HELLO TEAM, I AM HANA TOHOUIN, AND I SWEAR I WILL MAKE YOU FAMOUS NOT ONLY IN JAPAN BUT THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. EVERYONE WILL KNOW YOUR NAMES AND NO ONE WILL FORGET THEM FOR A LONG TIME. I SAW SOMETHING IN EVERY ONE OF YOU WHEN I SAW YOUR PERFORMANCE ON VIDEO."
I took a deep breath and continued," I BELIEVE IT CAN BE REDONE AND BE BETTER AND I KNOW WE CAN SHOW YOUR PERFORMANCE AND YOUR ABILITIES TO THE WORLD. THE WORLD WILL KNOW YOUR NAMES AND I AM THE MESSENGER BEARING YOUR NAME. PLEASE LET US GET ALONG WELL YOUR LIEGES. I soon got off the podium and did a bow. Still, as soon as I walked away I heard laughter and applause from the audience I saw it was the team captain Victory Gate laughing loudly at my speech and soon everyone else followed. There were some who were giggling, some were just laughing quietly, some were laughing loudly, and one maniacally, but it seems all of them clapped enjoying my speech.
Tactical Gray," Bahahahaha, that was marvelous, is she running for president?" High Spice responded," Pfft, naw dawg she running for class president. She will marvelously lead us to fame and fortune." Mama Blues giggled saying," At least we know she's devoted." Victory Gate responded still catching his break," Now that's devotion hah hah."
Great Wonder cleaning her ears trying to hide her giggling fits," hehe, did she, he, have to, hehehe, scream out every, he, word?" King Wild loudly proclaimed," HAHAHA, I HAVE HEARD YOUR PROCLAMATION MY DEAR SERVANT, AND I AM TOUCHED BY YOUR LOYALTY!" Endless Journey holding in her laughter stated," pfft, KiWi calm down, haha, love how you're finally meeting one of your people, hah." Sweet Pollen then said," Teehee... such a touching declaration." With Enduring Rain responding," Ha! Ha! I agree! We Accept Your Devotion!"
Then Imperial Punk responded to them laughing," bahahaha, the funny part is she means it too!" This led to even louder laughter as Norn Viking asked," bahahaha, you serious girl?" Then Tyrant Rose joined in saying while wiping tears from her eyes," Hah, girl I think she is." Then Steel Valkyrie stated while also laughing," Hah hah, this girl is crazy but I love it." Black Diamond smirked laughing lightly," Agreed."
Finally Ayana and Edged Lily couldn't say anything both laughing so hard. Now I think everything went well. I then looked away embarrassed as I walked back to the wall with the others about to introduce themselves. I am now focused on making accounts for the team and each member. Plus team accounts on video platforms one for music another for races. Time to get to work.
