The boss soon got back up on the podium and waited for everyone to calm down. When everyone calmed down she spoke saying," Did all of you have a good laugh, does everyone feel loose and light? Good now let's move on. Next up I'd like to say we will be traveling around the world. We will and for that, we need someone who knows everything about it."
She continued saying," We need someone who is an expert in travel and locations. Someone both with connections and knows others with connections in many different places around the world. Someone who can prepare the team and help with what they need to thrive in that environment. Someone I can trust to be my Head of Travel Planning. Now here she is Hachi Fukawa."
Soon a woman stepped on the podium after approaching it as the boss stepped off. She got up and soon adopted a lazy look. She then said," Yo, Hachi-chan is here. I would travel anywhere in the world for three reasons, one to make money, two to run away from my exes, and three to avoid my cringe as shit family. Now you need to go anywhere for any reason either it's to chill or kick-ass I'm the gal you want."
She then yawned like she just recently woke up, and continued," Now when I suggest things take it like it's life and death. Now if I say you're going to need something don't leave without it. I may seem chill to you, cause I am. Still, even if I say it in any way I want you to take it seriously, because I will also watch you get arrested, get sick, get robbed, or be victimized by anything else in that foreign country with the same expression. Ha, Ha, Ha, now let's get along and listen to everything I say, because I ain't helping your dumbasses if you get yourself into some real shit when we get there."
She then stepped off the podium as panic began to set in everyone's eyes. Everyone soon began screaming as she just yawned and left the room leaving no questions answered. After leaving everyone still there began asking about her directly from the boss, and even asking Mina if she was qualified for this team. The boss's eye twitching could only hold everyone back. She then screamed," Dammit Hachi, clean up after your mess!"
Hachi Fukawa POV:
Bruh how did I get here? Guess it all started when I was a tiny little thang. I lived in a strict and toxic family that only saw me as a burden with how stupid they think I am. Only my passion has always been traveling, and seeing the world. I worked part-time for a travel agent and studied things like history, geography, culture, and so much more. I decided to become my own woman and worked for travel agencies to scout out places and rate them for vacation opportunities.
When I first started it didn't go well. I got sick, robbed, got into arguments with locals, and had trouble with criminal gangs. I knew if I wanted to be better than this I would need to learn and improve. I soon learned from an expert in my field. Under him I learned disease prevention, crime prevention, how to get along with locals, and so much more.
I even learned martial arts, self-defense techniques, multiple languages, and survival techniques. Now I have also learned from my mentor how to be open and embrace learning, love, and experiences. That's when I ended up learning I'm pansexual, and ended up sleeping with him. We soon got into a hot and heavy sexual relationship which lasted until he died from old age. We also kind of had an open relationship where we slept with multiple different locals around the world.
Still, my rule is if they got too clingy I broke things off with them. That's why I have so many exes I stay away from. I became chill and fine with the world. Then I visited home, and my family couldn't accept who I became and tried to tell me to stop being who I became. I was very wealthy thanks to my business deals around the world, I was fine with who I am, and there was nothing wrong with me mentally or health-wise I checked with doctors.
They just couldn't accept who I've become. That's why I cut off ties with them and surrounded myself with people who did. Then I made one of my exes a powerful man with connections and I was fired from all my travel connections. I took my money and left never seeing that obsessed asshole again. He relentlessly hunted me down and I was in disguise everywhere.
That's when I met the boss Mina Sakamoto and she not only defended me from that scumbag she also hired me thanks to my experience. Now I will do anything to make sure her ambitions come true. Even if I have to passively threaten those reckless dumbasses. I've seen how reckless each of them can be, and even some of my fellow staff have never traveled before. It's better that they understand what might happen and they come prepared and serious when traveling.
The Uma Musume we have also had tendencies I know will cause many international incidents. King Wild is just a walking time bomb. Edged Lily is easily misunderstood and can easily cause fights. Norn Viking is a walking sex scandal and rule breaker. High Spice can piss off anyone without saying a single word.
Imperial Punk is too honest to hold in any of his opinions. Enduring Rain will use anything as workout equipment and has a tendency to be loud. Endless Journey can't keep his nose out of trouble and asks way too many questions also he states treasonous solutions way too easily. Black Diamond plays his preference of music even if everyone else prefers he doesn't. Great Wonder is too nice and gets into troublesome situations too easily.
Sweet Pollen can be a dumbass who can get into violent situations with how rough she is. Tyrant Rose is so attractive that she attracts everyone around her like a flower to bees. Mama Blues is like a wise old lady, who falls for new generation scams. Steel Valkyrie is just intimidating and makes others feel either threatened or uncomfortable. Victory Gate is very respectable to the point that somehow people will try to make her a ruler and cause rebellions in her name.
Finally, there's Tactical Gray she has way too many shady connections. Then there's the fact that she's an incident magnet with how she acts. Like what the fuck is this team, like forget taking them to another country they'd probably cause trouble here in Japan alone. Plus I'm beginning to understand that getting them to the airport is going to be its own pain in the ass. I hate them all so far already.
Not to mention travel newbies like that loud mouth Hana and others that think this will be an easy trip ending up annoying me throughout the entirety of it. Still, if it keeps away my exes and keeps me afloat so I don't have to ask my family for help I'll put up with them all. I soon went back to my office working for a few hours seeing the boss's timeline from when our first tournament was going to happen. Then there's the fact that we're doing a training camp before a break, and then we will leave for our first tournament. It seems our first tournament will be the Wellington Mad Minor, which is happening in early November in New Zealand.
We are starting in the middle of the tournament season as well. Since the season started a month ago in August, with us not entering until November. We'll also need to participate in every tournament now with us having to go into Open tournaments as well if they can get us points. We'll need points to qualify for the FSRL Paris World Championship, at the end of the season. First up was to finish the registration papers for the league.
Then if any shots or medical treatments were needed to go to New Zealand. After we need to book hotels, find training grounds, and make a list of places where you can and cannot go. Then make sure everyone has their passports and travel papers by then. God this will be a long road ahead, thank god for the staff around me to help. After hours of working, I get a knock on my door.
I sighed as I knew someone was going to want to talk to me today. I came to the door and opened it and saw an unexpected visitor. It was Victory Gate the team captain. She asked," May I come in Fukawa-san?" I wanted to say no and slam the door in her face but her expression was a serious one today, so I allowed it.
I responded," Fine have a seat in front of my desk, it seems to be important." After a while, both of us were seated. She soon began talking saying," Fukawa-san can we trust you?" I was speechless it seems she's serious, I've seen this before too with a client doubting my abilities thanks to their perception of me. I then laughed out loud at her question and told her," Victory Gate, I know you care about the team very much, but I'm a professional and an expert at what I do."
I soon stood up and flipped to my diagram wall for moments like this. I continued as I pointed at pictures to prove my point," I need you to understand that in each country there are always things that can hurt you and your group. Local diseases, powerful groups with insane amounts of power, violent criminals, and dangerous wildlife as a small example. I needed to tell there are situations where even I will be helpless if they fuck up. That's why my speech is about listening to me no matter how I convey that message to them."
Victory Gate nodded as she listened to me and spoke in a calm and cool manner saying," I see. It does seem that you know what you're doing, so please explain the same way you did to me to everyone else, because they're all trying to get you fired Fukawa-san." What the fuck, that was news to me, it seems I need to speak to the boss and everyone else. Victory Gate then got up walking out of the room, but before she could fully leave she turned around and said," Oh yeah, Fukawa-san, please call me Vic from now on." She soon leaves in a cool and calm manner, with me thinking how cool she was.
