Imperial Punk POV:
No one is perfect, and if anybody seems like they are, they're a liar. When we first met, I saw a bunch of defensive, and scared individuals. Still, no one is perfectly bad, like no one is perfectly good, so once everyone calmed down, and introductions were done, I began observing everyone. I acted as myself, because I don't and can't be anyone else, which is what I thought, until I became this Tokai Teio lookalike. I needed to do a lot as soon as we got here, and stuck with what I thought at the time as, these overdramatic chumps, to not have any more complications.
I had to rediscover myself and learn who I've become, so I began to do things the way I'm used to. With punk rock, running, and parkour, and when I did I learned that the more things change the more they stay the same. I'm still the punk-loving, brutally honest, hella observant, free-running, track-running master I've always been, but stronger. I'm not stupid, so I began studying, and practicing as well as going to get myself checked out. I seem to not only be in tip-top shape, but all my skills have transferred over, and now I can only need to hone my physicality to mastery.
I remembered Teio's injuries and decided that stretching and warming up before every workout is a smart decision along with constant physicals and rest. I began to work with the rest of the team, as I got to know them. I'm very observant so I got to truly know who everyone is. Vic is a caring and proud leader, with self-confidence issues, but is also very humble. Mama is very observant, as she is very motherly, but is very competitive if you wanna race, still, she has issues with sabotage as the only thing she has to do before was run forward as fast as she could.
Then there's Gray, he's untalented, spiteful, and kind of a douche but is very smart, sensible, and hardworking. GW is too nice, and too forgiving leading to her almost not having a competitive edge, but she's physically talented and tough. Rose is a good-looking and skilled liar, she has trust issues and is still uncomfortable with being touched, she must have gone through a lot when she was younger. Next is Rain very hard working and idealistic with a lot of tenacity and toughness, but is not very talented and holds others in too high expectations. Next is Lily the girl who has been hanging out with me a little too much, you'd think she would hate being called Lily because she used to be a man, but no Lily only cares about competition, she is stoic, but comes off as unemotional and uncaring.
She also seems to be very bad at communicating what she means to others and came off as toxic, so I began to help others understand her and get to know her. She now keeps giving me slight glances not realizing I can see it. After is Steel, and she is strong in every sense of the word, but she was keeping a secret, so during introductions I got Norn to tell us she was bisexual, directly causing everyone to give out their secrets, and causing Steel to tell us she was a woman in a man's body in her past life. Thanks to KiWi things ended up going well, with the group able to move on quickly. Steel is still very competitive and victory-obsessed, trying to win even a game of rock-paper-scissors into a serious match.
Next is Spice she's honest, skilled, hardworking, talented, and dedicated to her craft, but a bitch, because she's selfish on her desires, and arrogant as hell. She didn't even realize Lily and I knew she was dating Ayana, and while Ayana was working hard finding us a team, she did not help with making that process go faster. I literally had to manipulate her into getting her to move out of the way by making her realize, what she was doing was distracting from her own goals, indirectly. We even had to tell Gray that I got it handled, and he didn't have to do anything, when he found out. Then there's Sweets she's kind, very girly, and tough as hell, but loves roughhousing during races, and has the same confidence issues as Vic.
Then there's BlaD she is a musical genius, and athletically versatile with dance, combat, and running. Still, she is dedicated to rock and roll like a cultist, and crazy prideful about her ability to do everything, giving her timing problems. Next up is Jo a weirdo who will study you, your body, and do weird as hell research on the most basic movements of the human body, but holy shit is he a genius his research bore fruits that made adapting to this new body easier, he has enhanced us physically, and now he's researching souls and zone. Only wish he wasn't a mad scientist who wouldn't do experiments on us without permission, but results are results. Then there's Norn a fashionista diva who loves toying with the hearts of others and seducing them like a fucking succubus.
She does not care who you are, except as a fun toy who praises her and helps with her ego. That's when she began to race, and I saw her get serious for the first time ever, and I soon realized she was just a girl who loved freedom, she loves being who she is, feeling what she feels, loving who she wants, and adapting to whatever comes her way. I finally realized what made her truly beautiful. Finally, the psychopath KiWi, doing crime, and talking to her imaginary friends, she says crazy shit, and does more crazy shit. Still as unpredictable as she is, she is kind, energetic, and helpful to those who ask, so she's more of an energetic asset for now, instead of a psychotic problem.
I began to work with them and bond with them to the point that I care about this group of competitive assholes. Lily is helping me with terrain adaptations, Rain has me with physical training, Jo made sure I had proper helpful training, Gray helped me with strategies, and Rose helped me hone my free running and combat skills. Then Spice helped me hone my long-distance skills and street knowledge, Vic my adaptability, Sweets my toughness, KiWi my creative versatility. Steel gave me a taste of what championship caliber meant, Norn honed my creative freedom, and BlaD helped with my performance skills. GW and Mama watched over me and took care of me, with everyone being there for me and others.
That's why I'll be there for all of them, and will do what I can for this team to stay together and succeed. In the past, I was just a regular honest track running kid who came from a regular middle-class family. That's when the financial crisis hit the country and tore my family apart. My parents divorced, and I lived in poverty with my mom, working. I almost got led astray by joining a bad crowd and destroying my life.
That's when during our first time hanging out in an adult club, the performers that night were a punk band named, the Broken Broncos. Their music moved and inspired me. I soon moved out of the bad crowd I was in and into the vibrant punk scene in our city. The group I was a part of was about living life, telling the truth no matter what, being yourself, and loving what you love no matter what anyone else says. We say be different, but don't be lame.
We found thrills without smoking, drugs, or alcohol, we did free running, extreme sports, parkour, and even learned survival skills. We embraced what we loved, and expressed ourselves through music, art, and truth. I got back into track running, becoming a successful athlete and punk musician. I was well known in both scenes, winning championships and awards. I was me, until I wasn't.
I awoke as this Teio look-alike, feeling like an older, taller, fake version of someone else. It took Lily and Mama saying something to get me to realize, I might look like Teio, but I'm still me. That's probably when I noticed Lily wasn't as toxic as she was expressing and was actually trying to do some good, but keeps getting misunderstood. I'm now getting used to who I am now and learning to be this new me. The world had better be ready, because this team will rock the world, I promise you that.
