Author's Note: I am not an editor or a pro writer. I will write this the best I can and edit it the best I can. I also do not own Uma Musume, for it is owned by Cygames. Watch the animes, and read the mangas for they are pretty good. Finally, please enjoy.
High Spice POV:
Million Steps, the name I was given by the media, as well as the Warrior of Attrition. Still it not only explains my marathon career and my dominance in the sport, but what I had to go through and endure to make it to the top. I ruled marathon running, with perfect pacing, timing, and speed control, but I didn't start in some third-world country or a rich family either. I grew up in the streets in absolute poverty in a family full of criminals and drugs. I grew up saying things the way I see em, I'm brutally honest, still I had survival instincts honed into me, so I could lie and mess with my competition.
People saw me as an asshole, so I joined the gang life, so I could get some backup if needed at a very young age. I learned how to use guns, knives, and how to fight in the streets. I learned how to do business using info, drugs, and whatever the customer wanted to buy, it was good to diversify your stock. That all ended when the pigs caught my family and me, thanks to me being smart, and fast I was able to not be put in Juvie. Instead, I was put in the foster system where I was put in a family that put me in a school for talented individuals.
Still, I knew how valuable knowledge was, I wasn't just a drug dealer, but an info broker, and a get-it-for-you guy. I tried to grab as much knowledge and skills as I could get, as once I was too old for the foster system I might have to go back to the streets. I learned advanced general education, and other skills they teach, as well as studied a lot. I even dressed like the nerdy kid, to make sure people didn't realize I was from the streets. Still what I didn't expect was that later on I would fall in love with marathon running.
One of my foster brothers introduced me to it saying," I know you need some cash, but going back to crime shouldn't be the only option. I know you're athletic, so why don't you join this kids' marathon I'm helping a fine lady host, and the money should be enough to cover what you need." He gave me some advice, and so fuck it let's do this, so I did, and I not only won it, but I fell in love with the sport. I soon did more, asking advice from my cross country coaches in school, but soon I was discovered by a coach from a very famous athletic school. I selected the place for my high school choice and began to run high-level marathons, under proper coaches.
The result with my talent, and proper training, was absolute dominance, as I conquered every marathon I entered. I was so good and I loved it so much I even sought out infamously harder marathons with insane routes. After completing and winning those I began to earn my titles of million steps and warrior of attrition, but my favorite is Marathon King. I even conquered the Olympics winning gold medals multiple times. Still knowing that Father Time is undefeated, I tried to gather as much cash as possible and study hard at the same time.
I even began to cash in on my other talents, like my skill in hip hop. I learned how to do it when I was still in the streets, as well as break dancing, beat boxing, and how to scam people out of money. I wasn't expecting much though, as another one of my foster brothers suggested it, saying I was good at rapping, so I did it. I was very successful, with people soon realizing I was multi-talented as I hit platinum in some songs. I was very successful, especially with the ladies, with them treating me equivalent to a king being fed grapes by beautiful women, and if you don't like me bragging about how rich I became, that's you're broke ass's problem.
Still, it's ironic waking up looking like one of the cutest characters in the Uma Musume universe Rice Shower, when I used to look like a handsome motherfucker. Still, my new crew treated me well, and all of em are a bunch of badasses themselves especially Steel, who I don't care what sexual identity she has, especially when she can thoroughly whoop my ass in a race and in a fight. Vic is like a big bro who takes care of everyone, Mama is sweet and watches over everyone, Gray is sly, but usefully smart at getting info, GW knows how to do business, and Rose can convince a millionaire to be a hobo. They all cared about the team, and I hella respect that. I also got to know the others in the team, I even became good buddies with ImP, Jo, BlaD, and Lily, us getting close and seeing we got a lot of similarities, all of us being either honest, competitive athletes or being into the same things.
Then there's the people in the team I just don't talk to, because they will give me a migraine eventually or I'll get in trouble eventually if I hang out with em, because of who I am. Rain and KiWi, both loud and annoying I don't need to lose my hearing to have a conversation with those loud ass fuck mother fuckers. Finally there's Sweets and Norn, both are such teases bro, first Sweets is very under confident in her looks, so she teases people to make herself feel pretty, but she's Rose's girl, and I don't mess with the girl of the member who can convince everyone to throw me out back into the streets if needed. Next is Norn who has tried to seduce everyone in this team, but no one is stupid enough to take her seriously. Like it's obviously just her trying to get attention, we know this, because we got to know her.
She's actually a very fashionable attention seeker and is trying to make you praise her, and tell her how pretty she is. Still, both of em are very hardworking girls and are highly athletic with Sweets being the toughest in the team, and Norn being the most versatile. Still me Jo and I hang out a lot, because he studies the body and working with him gets me the most results quickly, with him also studying hip hop and rap and mastering it, when he was studying about the speed of rap. Bro really studied the body's movement and speed to this degree, but since BlaD is usually busy writing and rewriting songs, and Lily and ImP are their own pair, we end up hanging out. Still thanks to Jo I got used to my new body fast and am now practicing to get back into marathon shape, while practicing my rap, singing, and dance skills, because I want to be even more successful in this world than my last one.
That's when we got called into a meeting, it was finally time for the future baby. The meeting started and it seems good things do come to those who wait, when I heard about Freestyle Running, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. Sure they have obstacle races and relay races, but I like it, and then you make it marathon length, oh I feel like a warlord hearing there's a new land to conquer. I loved every moment of this meeting, plus I get to do rap performances as the team's main rapper, shoot they're spoiling me now. Good thing I look hella adorable right now, because I was skipping for joy after the meeting, and I asked ImP and Lily for free running lessons and terrain adaptability lessons.
They were not easy on me, as I learned quickly, but their years of experience showed as no matter how good I was I still couldn't touch what they both could do. I also joined Rain and Jo to help me with my training as we were all back to waiting for our team's leadership to find a team or from what I'm hearing an agency for the team to join. Rain and Jo got my body into proper form to do both long-distance running along with the ability to do some free running and parkour on any terrain. I was working my ass off, and unlike Rice Shower, when your fans boo me for whooping your ass, it's a you problem for not being good enough to go against this world's new Queen of Stayers. That's right I'm going to conquer every long-distance race to reach that new goal.
Then one day I hear we found ourselves a pretty good agent, and they're giving us a tryout to see if the team is worth a damn. I specifically think we all are, but it was time to show em and then everyone the hell else afterwards our worth. We arrived at the public track Rose somehow booked for the tryouts, and that's when I saw the finest lady I've ever seen. She was so hella fine from her gorgeous face to her fine bod, she was hella fine from head to toe. The tryout soon started and all I was focused on was showing off to the sexy lady, afterwards I came up to her smirking, and asked her," Hey baby, you like what you see."
She even blushed a bit, and that's when Vic who noticed during her concert yelled out from a distance," Goddammit Spice, not right now, save it for another time." Everyone was holding their heads or groaning at my antics. I chuckled and backed off from the clearly blushing lady I was rizzing up. Still, once the contracts were signed, I soon got her number, and I might have distracted her a bit from her work, as we very much hit it off. We used the instructors and teachers to distract the team to hide our relationship, and I was still showing up for lessons.
Still, I also wanted to return to running soon, and we discussed her finally finding us a team, and that night was our first night together. Two days later she found us a team, with no one realizing we were together the whole time, or so I thought. That's when Gray came up to me and whispered to my ear," Good thing you got your broad to get us a team, a lot of them were getting impatient. I really didn't want to reveal to everyone, especially Vic to what the fuck you were doing these last few weeks, while she was busy 'searching' everywhere to get us a team." She then walked away, after tapping me on the shoulder, leaving me speechless.
Damn, Gray is good.
