Zara inclined her head. "Okay, I'll do that, Alpha." She hesitated, a flicker of worry clouding her eyes. "But… what if she insists on coming home while Ms. Seraphine is still hospitalized?"
She had managed to persuade Valessia to remain at the hospital for now, but there was no guarantee that Valessia wouldn't want to return to her house for some personal task. And when that happened, Zara feared she'd run out of excuses.
Lucien's gaze hardened. "Do everything possible to ensure she doesn't go home during Seraphine's stay at the hospital." His tone left no room for argument. "I'll have Varek forward Penelope's line to you. Contact her for Seraphine's and Valessia's basic necessities. She'll be on standby to get you whatever you need."
"I'll do my best," Zara promised, even though she had no clear idea how she would keep Valessia confined to the hospital under the Alpha's strict orders.
