The four of them went inside the room together with the two small tails behind. Eri was sitting on Sam's bedside, his face blank as he placed a warm cloth over the eye that Ain punched.
He looked towards the door and saw two uniformed officers, then glanced at Cia and Ain. Cia nodded and Ain didn't react. Still, Eri had trust in his brothers that they wouldn't let anyone harm them.
Solen saw that everything inside seemed to be normal. So after taking a glance at the weak Sam on the bed, he and his partner Leon left the Ikaris residence.
"Ain, are you alright? Why didn't you tell me that you had a risky encounter last night? Are you injured?" Cia spun Ain around to check for some injuries. At first, Ain let him be but after a while, he lost his temper.
"I'm fine. If I'm injured then bet I'll be the whiniest one." Ain couldn't stand being slighted, and whenever he felt a discomfort, he would vocalize his complaints.
