Idris's POV
The ride to the other island was not long, mostly because we were going at an incredible speed, the boys and I are going to have a little fun out their and we have twelve days all to ourselves. Except when the people we have to train gets here.
An hour in our worlds is a day here, twelve days here means twelve hours in our world, honestly we use to pend time just wasting reward money we got from missions, but who cares it's our live anyway and our captain use to love parties and fun adventures, that was when she could see.I wonder if she would get to enjoy one like she used to.
We arrived at the beach side of the island, the sun was going down, you could see three crescent moons slowly gaining their glow, the flowers stared to glow too, most of the flowers here glow in the dark it's more magical when the three moons are full. Then the flowers change color every second, it's a every beautiful sight to behold but the three moons becoming full at the same time is rare, sometimes like the eclipse.
I personally wanted to come here, I promise someone I will be coming to see her that is probably why I drugged the boys with me.
We stepped out of the yacht and went to the main land, the streets we busy as usual, I promise you, you could come here midnight and the streets will still be busy, it's like the town never sleeps.
The boys got hooked up by their Interest, they weren't paying attention to each other, that's how it's always is, find what's your interested in and do it. Dia was looking at the food section while Sylus was checking out rings and stuff he claims looks cool.
The town is so big one won't mind if one goes missing, it's filled with so many activities, it's like and endless party. I looked at the guys one more time, Dia was stuffing his face with food he bought and still waking into another restaurant. Sylus had about ten rings on his finger and busy talking to the ladies.
I took the opportunity and slipped out, I'm not here to eat or have fun, I'm too busy for that, I do party along with them but not today,
The streets were lit with lanterns and the glowing flowers was giving it a decorative touch, people in costumes and what they call traditional outfits walked about.
I moved away from the noise and down a familiar path, the more I walked the more I got farther away from he main Streets, the loud music and talking faded bit by bit. I came across a small river, the sky above reflected in it, so perfectly it looks like the sky itself was on the ground.
Soon I came by a humble house with lots and lots of flowers. I knocked and the door opened up.
Inside a woman with deep blue hair stood there.
"Hi mom,I'm back" I waved. She instantly hugged me.
" I missed you like hell" I whispered
"come in" I went into the house.
Everything was in place just as I remember. This woman is Katrina, I call her my mom because she literally is, form her looks down to what she likes, everything about her is just like my mother, the way she takes walks acts even her birthday and name are the same to my mother.
I call her my mom because I lost her back when I was fourteen about four years back, my mom believes in superstitions, she practice rituals, burn candles and sprinkle salt water around our house like she was watering plants.
She has always been like that and I was fine with it, everyone was fine it too, My siblings and I love the stories she tells us, we sometimes believe them till four years ago, when she tried a ritual she found in a book somewhere and accidentally summoned a demon at night, you can guess what happened next.
The eight legged creature the size of a track killed her and attacked us, that was my first time of meeting Lady Asha. She manga the situation like she had done it before, oddly enough everyone forgot about her when she left, I was given the invitation to join her team.
First day I stepped foot on this island, I met Katrina and it was like my mom was back, she also lost a son the same age I was when my mom died.
We instantly connected.
" honey.... mind telling your siblings not to fight over stupid things they are getting old for that" she spoke from the kitchen as a little boy and girl run around trying to beat each other. They stop and looked at me with their big eyes.
" honestly, let them be, they're just seven" I winked at them and they resumed their game .
"you plus your dad love nothing but to spoil them don't you,... don't blame me when they become irresponsible "
I walked to the kitchen and positioned myself and the door frame.
"mom....?, I know I promise to be come here every time I get but there is a news I have to share "
" What is it son" she didn't look up from what she was doing.
" well, we will be training people to join the team " I said in one breath.
" and what about it " she wiped her hand and walked to the dinning table, I followed her, she started to set the table and I helped her
" training means no time to leave the island, which means....." I trailed off
" you won't be coming anymore, why tell me now Idris you've been gone for twelve days, couldn't you wait tomorrow before bringing it up" she went back into the kitchen.
" Is big brother not going to come and see us anymore " the little girl looked at me
" no baby, I will come when I have free time okay" I told her
" promise?"
" promise " she run off
" are you going to eat with us," why Mom asked
" why not and when is Dad getting home" I shouted
"He needs to work for the night, he will be here before the sun comes out " she answered.
" I see, are you going to the festival "
" yeah but now now "
" will you take the children "
" your not the try to ask questions like that" she shot me a glare.
I have lived here for sometime and gotten used to every one here not just the guys from my team. I would like to be here more often but I have another life to live in a different world.
Balancing it all wasn't a problem, it's not for any of us, infact it's like an everyday thing for us.
