Ezra's POV
"Ethan, I know it's you. How can I not recognize you?"
He was not making sense at all. That's why I pinched his chest, which did hurt him, and his grip loosened. I quickly stepped away from him.
"What the hell, man? What's wrong with you?" I said.
And when I noticed his reaction, he was grinning at me—which was a really creepy expression.
"I know you're not in your right mind 'cause you just woke up. But I think I should leave now. My friends must be waiting for me."
I turned around to leave, but my eyes widened in fear 'cause now he was standing right in front of me. He was definitely using his powers to scare me.
"Where do you think you're going, Ethan?" His voice echoed through the cave.
"Or were you planning to play with me?" He was answering his own questions, which was really weird—but not more than him.
"I'm leaving. I don't want to stay here anymore." I started walking toward the direction I came from.
