At the moment Godwyn was "killed", a cold, terrifying atmosphere filled with murderous intent covered the entire Greek Pantheon.
Ares and Athena, who were gods of war, smelled the suffocating scent of death, decay, and violence.
At the same time, an extremely powerful aura entered the Greek Pantheon without any intention of hiding. Other equally powerful auras hovered in the air along with the extremely powerful aura.
Athena narrowed her eyes and her concerns were confirmed. This aura could only belong to an extremely powerful God King, along with the main gods of a Pantheon.
"How dare you." A cold, indifferent, and calm male voice echoed in heaven and on earth. The world seemed to understand that a powerful being was walking in the mortal world, the very air seemed to bow, as if greeting a king.
Zeus raised his head and saw a man wearing solemn black clothes with golden adornments. An eye patch covered his right eye. A red aura of war surrounded the man's tall and imposing figure. His single eye was silver, like a pale moon in the sky.
Odin, Allfather and God King of the Norse Pantheon.
Odin was accompanied by two enormous wolves, Geri and Freki, both divine wolves and terrifying monsters.
Appearing before the God King, Zeus looked coldly and replied. "He invaded my territory without my authorization."
Odin looked at Zeus as if he were looking at a mere beast, an animal that could never control its own desires, a monkey in every sense of the word.
"He was my prince, my flesh and blood, the continuation of my lineage." Odin said with a terribly cold tone. Millions of runes seemed to glow in his single eye, he calmly pronounced. "Blood for blood."
Gungnir roared with divine energy, the Divine Spear of Death advanced towards Thalia. Unlike any other weapon, the silver spear tore the very fabric of space, used the law of destiny to aim at Thalia and advanced with the intention of cutting the very thread of destiny of the Princess of Olympus.
However, before Gungnir could pierce Thalia's body, a tall woman with brown hair, holding a shield, appeared before the thunder princess.
Athena felt only a silver flash in her vision before her body was thrown dozens of kilometers flying like a broken doll. The goddess of war knelt while spitting a large amount of golden blood. Looking down, she saw a huge hole in her stomach.
Athena stood up with some difficulty and looked at Odin with a calm and solemn gaze. Even though she was injured, she seemed calm and firm. She finally realized that the power of a God King was not something she could face head-on.
Odin, seeing this, showed a helpless look. He wanted to prevent the war by killing Thalia, but that became impossible at this moment.
"HOW DARE YOU." Zeus reacted and shouted furiously. The sky above him turned into an air of black clouds. The weather in half the country changed in an instant. Lightning rained down on the earth while strong winds tore everything in front of them.
A gigantic lightning bolt the size of a thirty-story building flashed with a fleeting glow, before striking Odin with a thunderous sound. Windows within a fifty-kilometer radius shattered with the sound of thunder.
The Allfather remained indifferent, with only a wind shield around him, blocking the attack of the King of Olympus.
Odin looked at Zeus with a cold tone. "We will see on the battlefield, King of Olympus." He said with a calm and indifferent tone. At the same time, his Authority of Semi-Omnipotence was working with all his might.
He felt that something was terribly wrong. Even though everything seemed correct, he still felt that something was wrong, but no matter how much he thought, he couldn't find where the error was.
"I will cut off your head, it will be my trophy when I conquer your pantheon." Zeus said with a thunderous tone, like the sound of thunder.
Odin finally showed some reaction to Zeus's words. As if looking at a rebellious teenager, the Norse King spoke with a calm tone. "Boy, even if your grandfather stood before me he would not have the confidence to make such promises."
"Much less you, a spoiled boy who inherited a power he didn't even acquire through work and effort." His words made the veins on the King of Olympus's forehead contort grotesquely. Zeus had never been so furious in his life.
Faced with his anger, Zeus no longer controlled himself, took the Master Bolt and attacked Odin with full force.
Gungnir in Odin's hand showed no weakness before the Master Bolt and collided violently with the Master Bolt. The highest caliber divine weapons collided with a loud and powerful explosion. The world seemed to tremble with the collision between the two Divine Kings.
While Odin and Zeus confronted each other in the sky, a woman appeared in the place where Godwyn had been killed. She had gray hair, but her face was as young as that of a thirty-year-old woman. Her pale blue eyes were teary.
This beautiful woman was Frigg, Queen of the Norse Gods and Goddess of Maternity.
If there was one thing Godwyn had to admire, it was Odin's choice for queen. Unlike Hera, Frigg was the sweetest goddess a son or daughter could have. Even with Odin's extramarital affairs, Frigg said nothing or even did anything to the children.
On the contrary, the woman adopted and raised all of Odin's bastard sons and daughters, raising them as her own flesh and blood. Even Thor dared not raise his voice before Frigg, showing the respect that all sons and daughters had for the Queen of the Aesir Gods.
At this moment, this same woman was crying as she crouched, picking up a golden ring from under the ashes on the ground. She looked at the ashes on the ground and held a handful of them, watching them escape through her fist.
What is the greatest pain of a woman who loves her children above all else? Of course, it was losing a child to death.
Frigg's heart could not have been more devastated, images of Godwyn's childhood repeated in her mind with a tsunami of memories and emotions.
"Mother Goddess." A man, who seemed made of gold, appeared beside Frigg, there was a deep sorrow in his gentle and warm voice.
"Baldur, your brother died." Frigg said with a sad and tearful tone, holding the ring and the ashes in her hand as if it were a precious treasure.
Baldur looked at the ashes on the ground with a sad look. He also loved his half-brother, who could make even the saddest occasion joyful. Remembering the boy who ran after him, a look of deep sadness reflected on the beautiful face of the God of Light.
(Baldur from Twilight of the Gods.)
"Blood for blood, Mother Goddess." Baldur said, turning to look at the demigods and the centaur not far away. The God's golden eyes turned cold. The spear made of pure light appeared in the right hand of the God of Light.
"Baldur, I just want to mourn my dead son." Standing up, Frigg looked at Baldur with eyes red from crying. Tears streamed down her face and turned into pearls, rolling across the scorched ground.
Baldur stopped his attack and made the spear of light, he looked deeply at his mother. This was strange, a mother should avenge her son if she could, seeing her refuse this made him realize that something was not right.
However, his respect for Frigg prevented him from continuing his reasoning. After all, his mother's tears were not fake.
Frigg looked at the girl with short black hair and electrifying blue eyes. She was a beautiful girl, she had to admire her son's good taste in women. Showing a sad and gentle smile to the princess of Olympus, she disappeared in an air of leaves.
Baldur did not prevent his mother's departure, he looked at the dragon that had killed his brother and took a step forward. "I will bathe my brother's grave with your blood, your head will be my tribute to my brother."
Ladon roared and attacked Baldur without any hesitation.
Half an hour later, Zeus and Odin had already fought thousands of times. Although Odin despised Zeus, he had to admit that the boy was powerful. However, being powerful did not mean that he could not be defeated.
Odin noticed Zeus's weaknesses and kept the information in his mind, waiting for the right moment to be used.
"Father, I received news that the Vanir are moving with abnormal force." His son's voice sounded in Odin's ears, making the Allfather narrow his single eye.
"I will bathe my throne with your blood, boy." Odin said, before retreating, leaving the Greek domains.
All the Norse gods also accompanied their King's departure.
"Prepare yourselves."
"We are at war against the Norse Pantheon." Zeus said to all the gods present. There was not a drop of warmth in his voice, only the purest indifference.
