"The throne of the heavens was carved in pain, and he sat on it with the dignity of one who had conquered death itself." Excerpt during Godwyn's ascension to the God-King's Throne.

Ladon, who was about to devour the audacious demigod who stood before him, blinked his hundreds of eyes at once, showing a confused expression on his fierce, scaly face. His nose twitched, smelling a familiar and nostalgic scent. The scent of his father.
Reading the information in his mind, the simple and somewhat naive brain of the Hundred-Headed Dragon accepted everything without any hesitation or distrust. The scent of his father was enough to convince him that this small demigod was a slave to his father.
Seeing the dragon quickly accept the information, Godwyn was speechless at the dragon's stupidity. 'No wonder the others want you to be their watchdog, you're easy to control.' He thought with a slightly amused look on his face.
However, Godwyn was not surprised. Although it was a divine creature, it did not mean they were intelligent. Perhaps it was the limitation imposed on them by the laws of the universe.
Godwyn was about to stage a deadly and arduous battle, but was shocked to find a green flame advancing towards him. The smell of poison could be sensed even before the flames reached him.
The Norse Demigod quickly retreated while looking at the foolish Dragon with a confused look, he felt that the dragon was really trying to kill him in a few blows.
This left Godwyn speechless at the underdeveloped intelligence of Typhon's son. However, he quickly put aside the distracting thoughts and accepted the change of plans. With Ladon acting that way, the gods suspected nothing.
At the same time, Godwyn had to hasten his death!
He was absolutely certain that Odin was coming towards him at this very moment. How could Odin let him escape in such a critical situation? So, Godwyn had to die as soon as possible.
With each step of the monster, it seemed that the entire hill trembled. The poisonous breath killed everything that had life, the vegetation withered while the soil turned yellowish and lifeless.
Godwyn showed a solemn expression seeing this. Like Nidhogg, Ladon was a poisonous dragon, both creatures were extremely deadly. Fortunately, just as he faced Nidhogg, he was prepared to face this type of dragon.
However, Godwyn's expression soon showed a helpless look, remembering that this was not his body! The silver horn was on his body, not this one, so all the things he had to deal with dragon-type monsters were not with him.
"Well, let's solve this the old-fashioned way." Godwyn muttered as red lightning emanated around his fists. The Norse demigod took a step forward and punched the soft belly of the dragon that protected the golden apples of immortality.
Under the surprised eyes of all gods and demigods, Ladon's enormous body was indeed forced to retreat. Even if the monster had only retreated a miserable step.
Feeling the pain in his belly, Ladon's eyes became fierce and murderous, roars came from the beast's hundreds of heads. Sharp, piercing and powerful that shook the air around.
The monster advanced uncontrollably towards the demigod with a furious look. The secondary heads expelled extremely poisonous green flames.
Godwyn quickly retreated while using the surrounding trees to propel himself, dodging the beast's uncontrolled attacks. His golden eyes stared at Ladon's enormous body with a thoughtful look.
Every monster had weaknesses that demigods, gods, and other creatures could exploit to kill them. Remembering the soft sensation when punching Ladon's belly, Godwyn knew that this was a weak point.
Using the tree to propel his body, Godwyn threw Draupnir towards the dragon's belly. The spear advanced between the trees, tearing everything in its path and hitting the creature's scaly belly squarely, piercing scales and hitting flesh.
"RHUAARRRRRR!!!" This time, a painful roar sounded, the dragon's angry eyes turned into pure fury and madness. The hundreds of heads writhed in the air and expelled a large amount of flames in a hundred-meter radius!!!
Godwyn escaped the sea of flames as the green flames tried to devour his body. He felt no pain, but had to pretend he was being burned while being poisoned by Ladon's flames.
Leaving the attack area, Godwyn knelt and leaned on Draupnir. There was a deep exhaustion on his face as purple lines appeared under his skin, showing severe poisoning. His arms and neck had large burned areas.
Godwyn had to admire Mimir's thoroughness in controlling his own powers of Lies and Deception. The god of wisdom was adjusting the projection in real time while letting Godwyn control the projection. This kind of proficiency only came with thousands of years of experience.
Suddenly, the ground trembled and Godwyn struggled to his feet, looking at the gigantic beast running towards him, he showed no fear and smiled cheerfully.
The memory of the battle against Fortissax came to Godwyn's mind. The ancient dragon was colossal, even larger than Ladon. That fight had been even more brutal than this one, but, at that time, he was also stronger, much stronger than now.
Each of his blows drastically changed the surrounding landscape as if he were an extremely powerful god. But those days of glory were behind him. Now, he was no longer the formidable Godwyn, heir of the Lands Between, but a weakened demigod, facing a beast of overwhelming power.
However, Godwyn felt that this fight was much more fun than the fight against Fortissax. After all, he defeated the ancient dragon without any injury. But, at this moment, if his body were present, he would already be seriously injured and poisoned.
Godwyn did not hesitate to activate the Wind Runes and made the spear, still impaled in Ladon's belly, explode.
A painful, tearful and indignant roar sounded again. Ladon did not understand how the small slave of his father dared to hurt him. However, he cared about nothing else, he just wanted to devour the small demigod and satisfy the ferocity in his mind.
Godwyn looked at the enormous hole in Ladon's belly and smiled victoriously, listening with pleasure to the painful roar of the hundred-headed beast.
"Even if I go to meet the Queen of the Dead, I will hurt you before I die." Godwyn said with a bright look. There was no fear of death on his face. He knew he could not kill such a powerful dragon. If he were using his body, he would kill the dragon, but this body was just a projection created by Mimir.
Hades, who was watching the fight with a cold and silent look, could not help but raise an eyebrow, he was truly surprised to see such a young boy show indifference to imminent death.
Just like all the gods who were watching, Hades saw that Godwyn would die, he was poisoned, burned and exhausted. It was a miracle that he was still standing, even with Ladon's terrifying and deadly poison.
There was only one thing that could make a man fight even when so injured.
"Love." Hades murmured with a calm and cold look, He looked at his niece, who was crying while looking at Godwyn. It was more than obvious that Thalia and Godwyn loved each other, or that's what the gods thought was happening.
He knew love, a feeling that could make even his cold and dead heart beat full of warmth.
Hades frowned, seeing Godwyn getting weaker and weaker. Remembering the crows that entered his Realm, he knew more than anyone that Godwyn could not die, at least not in Greek territory!
After all, Ladon was the dog of the Queen of the Greek Gods. A queen killing a foreign prince was extremely insulting. Such an act of war was a feast for the ambitious gods on the Norse side. It was certain that the Norse Pantheon would declare war if Godwyn died.
When he was about to rescue the boy, Hades lowered his hand and sat back on his throne. Why would he care? It wasn't him who should be nervous about a possible war with another pantheon.
Yes, the one who was most worried was Zeus, but the King of Olympus himself did not move and looked coldly at the dying boy. He had no intention of helping Godwyn, much less saving his life.
Would Godwyn's death lead to war? Zeus didn't care. He was not afraid of war, especially since he could end the source of his daughter's passion. How could he allow his daughter to date a Norse barbarian?
If Godwyn heard Zeus's thoughts, he would be speechless at the extremely insane mind of the King of Olympus. Would the God-King really risk a war over something as trivial as the love of two teenagers?
Unfortunately, even Godwyn himself underestimated the ego, arrogance, and selfishness of the King of Olympus.
When Godwyn was about to move, he noticed that the body of the projection that Mimir had created could no longer move. He knew it was time for his death before all the gods, demigods, and monsters.
Ladon opened his hundreds of mouths and blew a gigantic amount of green flames, there was a feeling of madness and anger in the dragon's eyes.
Seeing the green flames approaching him, Godwyn used Draupnir to support himself and stand up, he looked back, wanting to see Thalia and Annabeth one last time. It would take years for them to meet again, he wanted to remember their faces well.
Showing a bright smile and winking at both women, who were crying, Godwyn's body was submerged in the green flames!
