Chapter 10 - Chapter 9 - Decisions and the Future (II)

Hearing the Pantheon's name, Mimir couldn't help but smile. He knew it was Godwyn's life philosophy. Returning good with good and evil with evil. It might seem altruistic, but it was a completely selfish philosophy.

After all, what was good and evil?

Everything depended entirely on one person's point of view. If such a thing wasn't considered selfish, he wouldn't know what was categorized as selfish.

"It's a good name, but before we officially become a Pantheon, we will be an organization that the gods desperately tried to exterminate." Mimir warned with a solemn tone.

How did the gods allow a Pantheon led by a demigod to be born? Mimir could imagine that the gods would be furious when they learned of the Golden Order's existence.

It was a symbol of rebellion that could not be accepted under any circumstances, especially by the Greek Pantheon.

Why did all demigods have ADHD and Dyslexia? Simple, the gods didn't want demigods, who were infinitely freer than the gods, to gain knowledge.

Just as humans gained ambition and greed by gaining Prometheus's Fire, demigods would become greedier, and when a rebellious idea was born, the gods would have great problems dealing with demigods.

"Don't worry, I will give my gods a weapon so they have the power to make the gods fear our terrorist organization." Godwyn said with a smile, eager for Odin's reaction!

Mimir looked confusedly at Godwyn; he couldn't imagine anything that could cause so much fear to the gods. The gods only feared powerful enemies, like Cronus, Ymir, or Apep, extremely powerful and destructive divine beings.

However, Godwyn's answer came with actions instead of words. Under Mimir's shocked eyes, the boy simply took a knife and cut his wrist. However, something even more shocking happened.

An extremely terrifying centipede came out of the cut wrist and vibrated its thousands of legs. The creature was completely dark, but not a normal black, but the total absence of light.

The atmosphere of the room changed; a chilling and deadly cold hung in the air like a dense and suffocating atmosphere. A deep malice emanated from the centipede, making the surroundings darker.

Mimir felt chills running through his head. The only part of his body screamed for him to run desperately away from the centipede. For the first time in thousands of years, he felt the true feeling of death hovering over him.

"What in the name of Titania's glorious breasts is that!?" Mimir asked with a completely incredulous and frightened tone.

"The Destined Death, the physical personification of the concept of death. It can make the gods achieve the sweet eternal sleep of death." Godwyn said with a calm tone while tightly holding the terrifying centipede. "It's my curse, born with me. Every night it devours my flesh and blood."

Mimir was startled hearing his words and looked at the thirteen-year-old boy with a sad gaze. What a cruel fate it was to carry such a thing in the body. Remembering the nights with Godwyn, the mystery in his mind was solved.

"So that's why Odin sent Thor to kill him." Mimir murmured to himself, finally understanding Odin's obsession with killing Godwyn.

"He tried to convince you to be his weapon, but you refused." Mimir said with a tone of affirmation, as if guessing what happened between Odin and Godwyn.

The King of the Norse Gods wanted to control this power, but Godwyn refused to be a weapon. How could Odin allow such power not to be under his control? With his paranoia and madness, it was more than natural for him to order Godwyn's death.

"He tried to control my mind; unfortunately for him, because of the Destined Death, nothing can affect my mind. Not even the All-Father's omniscient magic." Godwyn said with a cold tone, remembering the days he was imprisoned while being subjected to all kinds of magic from the All-Father.

"Since he fears Ragnarok, I will bring Ragnarok to him." A trace of hatred and resentment flashed in Godwyn's beautiful eyes, which soon turned into a look of determination. "I will turn all Nine Worlds against him and start the divine war."

"That's not too difficult; the All-Father is practically the enemy of all races. We just need to raise the war banner and let things unfold naturally." With such a powerful weapon in Godwyn's hands, Mimir's single eye lit up. The chances of winning the war were not as simple as a percentage, but a certainty.

"We cannot be seen by the All-Father's Ravens. When he discovers the plan, he will stop us at all costs. Along with that arrogant brat who is a seer, we need to be very, very careful." Mimir advised Godwyn with all the ways he had.

Mimir was worthy of being the God of Wisdom. Plans and more plans appeared in his mind like mushrooms after a rain.

Godwyn sculpted everything with a satisfied expression. He was thirteen years old; even if he counted his past life, he was twenty-eight. But fifteen were entirely focused on irresponsibility in the first life, and in the second life, thirteen years of childhood and training.

If asked if he had matured enough in these thirteen years, Godwyn would answer no. He could face things calmly and logically because of the dangers he faced, but calling him an adult because of that was something he disagreed with.

Age does not mean maturity or even wisdom. There were many old people in the world, but no one won a Nobel Prize or was even intelligent. So, Godwyn knew nothing about commanding, governing, or even leading.

But he had an old God of Wisdom who served two pantheons! The Celtic Pantheon and the Norse Pantheon. In both pantheons, Mimir served the respective god kings. Although Godwyn didn't know these things, he could learn from Mimir.

"Mimir, I want to learn from you; I know nothing about governing or even being a king." Godwyn said with a sincere tone. He was not ashamed to say he didn't know something; it was natural, no one is born knowing everything, including the gods themselves.

Mimir looked at Godwyn and smiled gently. Seeking knowledge to improve oneself was something every god should have, but no one cared about such a thing. Seeing Godwyn wanting to become the best version of himself made him sincerely happy.

After twice serving two god kings, he wanted to serve a truly worthy one; Godwyn would be that God King, he would teach him everything he knew!

"I will teach you, Godwyn, but you don't need much teaching when it comes to being a competent leader." Mimir said with a smile. Perhaps Godwyn himself hadn't realized it, but he had extraordinary charisma.

What are the two essential qualities for a leader or a king?

Charisma and strength!

Godwyn had both qualities; the boy was powerful even before becoming a god and even more charismatic than Oberon himself, the King of Fairies!

To understand, Oberon was at his peak when it came to charisma. Even in a relatively small and weak pantheon, he managed to keep the Fairy Pantheon safe surrounded by various other pantheons.

It can be said that Oberon's diplomacy was at its peak; Mimir praising Godwyn showed how charismatic the golden boy was. In his eyes, some beings are born to be kings; Godwyn was one of those beings, especially being a Usurper destined to dethrone Odin.

Godwyn was surprised for a moment, but after hearing Mimir's words, he was happy to have such qualities. At least he wouldn't have to try too hard to make friends and helpers.

"However, what we need is to make you a god." Mimir said with a serious tone. A demigod cannot do much against a god. Godwyn needed to usurp a Divine Position as soon as possible.

Only when Godwyn becomes a god will he have the initial qualifications to create a world for the Pantheon itself.

"But that's not difficult for you; we can choose a Daemon or a forest spirit to usurp, and you will easily become a god." Mimir said with a smile. With the Destined Death, they could just set a trap and capture a lesser god.

However, he didn't see happiness on the boy's face, which confused him. "Is there a problem, Godwyn?"

"Will I be a weak god if I usurp such a weak Divine Position?" Godwyn asked with a calm tone. Although becoming immortal immediately was tempting, he was not blinded by greed.

What good would it do to be a lesser god if he couldn't even withstand a few blows from a Lord God?

"That's true, but you need to become a god as soon as possible." Mimir understood Godwyn's thoughts and didn't find his concern wrong.

But, in his eyes, Godwyn needed to be a god as soon as possible to begin the creation of the world for the Pantheon itself. When the Pantheon was formed, Godwyn would gain better Divine Positions.

"Mimir, let's wait a little longer; I have a god in mind that I want to kill." Godwyn shook his head and refused Mimir's proposal; he already had a target in mind and needed to wait a little.

Mimir looked at Godwyn and trusted the boy's choices. He was just the advisor; Godwyn was his true king.
