Steph's pov:
I woke up with a terrible headache and my head still aches until now. I went to the bathroom to wash my face when I get a clear look at my face and
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Sorry for being rude let's cut the story there first I'm Stephanie Collins a 17 year old high schooler. I'm not an only child I have an amazing elder sister Sophie Collins who is in college and my parents Amber and Chris Collins and yes we're an ordinary family(mortals).
Though l believe there's no such thing as magical beings. I believe that is enough introduction now let's get back to the story.
I looked at my reflection and I was stunned and no it's not pimples or something I'm not that dramatic. My naturally brown hair is red and my face is way more smooth than its supposed to be and no I didn't dye my hair.
While still looking at my reflection I hear a knock on the door so I rinse my face to make sure I'm not hallucinating but my hair's still red and my face is still smooth. I walk up to the door and open it and find mom and Sophie. "hey good morning mom, sophs what brings you here?". I say smiling brightly and hoping they don't notice my red hair.
"Well we heard you scream so we came to see what was happening hey steph you dyed your hair? Holy shit that's so cool red even bold it matches your personality" Sophie said while leaning on my door frame.
I curse Sophie in my head and turn to look at mom ready to be scolded only to find her looking at me with a weird expression on her face. "Hehe mom I can totally explain...." I didn't get to finish my sentence cause she said "Did you wake up with your hair and face like this" " yes..."I started "oh no this is bad I've got to tell your dad it's happening. Sophie don't explain anything until i and your dad are back. Stephanie make sure you dye your hair back to black and don't tell anyone about it. If anyone asks about your face tell them you've been using skin treatment. Bye make sure you get to school early take the bus or Sophie drive..."mom runs out the door.
I turn to look at Sophie " so what are you guys hiding from me ughhhh (exclaims sharply) is this a prank how did you guys pull it off? So cool" I say. "I know nothing come on let me help you with your hair or you'll be late" she says totally avoiding my question but I couldn't care less.
Oh I forgot some minor details about myself I'm impulsive, rude but cute and a little cocky also incredibly smart.
AN HOUR LATER
I arrive at school and thankfully I wasn't that late.
I entered the class and every where went silent everyone got back to their seats and sat up straight.
In case you're wondering yes it's cause of me and all that happened when I came to this school. How bout a little flashback.

"Bye love and try not to beat up anyone on your first day please" mom said. " It's not like I go around looking for fights..." I started "but you do by not smiling and looking like nothing could ever phase you" Sophie said. " Just don't get in trouble and sophs keep an eye on your sister she's just a grade lower than you."
My parents dropped me off at the entrance of the new school. And I was pretty excited because a new school means bullies and I love bullies cause I get to shine then I stepped into the school.
I got to class and everything was pretty e teacher entered the class, she asked me to come up and say hello. So I get up and tuck my hair behind my ears, adjust my baggy clothes and try to smile (I don't do that a lot).
"Hi, my name is Stephanie but you can call me Steph. I'm 12 years old and I hope we get along. Thank you". I try to smile and go back to my seat.
As I'm about to seat I notice water on my chair (so old). I get a napkin out of my bag and clean it then I sit.
The rest of period was alright, immediately the teacher left a group of kids walk up to me.
And I knew this was trouble (obviously for them). " hi new kid I'm Kenzie and what you did not so long was not cool at all you were supposed to sit on the water not spot it and clean it you stopped the class from having a good laugh. So here's what's going to happen now here....(she holds something up to me but I ignore her cause I'm reading a jujutsu kaisen manga. Seeing that I'm ignoring her she slams it on my table (and I see it's a bottle of water) you'll take this bottle and pour it on yourself and we can forgive you but if you don't....." She didn't finish "we'll help you how does that sound nice right" said a girl who I later learnt her name was Katie.
The boys in the group started laughing too they were triplets Peter, Paul and Patrick.
I did what I normally do ignore but not only that I raise my hoodie to cover my face and attempt a sleeping position when my manga was dragged. "looks like we caught your attention pretty I've been dying to meet you I'm Paul. Can we be friends the only thing is that you have to take the bottle and make us laugh then we can be friends" he said.
That really wanted to make me laugh but I didn't, not yet anyways. I just raised an eyebrow at them and nodded to my book indicating for them to return it. " it seems she doesn't agree to it here (Paul says as he tosses my manga to Patrick and immediately he tore it in two then in four I SAW RED and I sprang up from my seat at an astonishing speed and gave Patrick a flying kick).
Okay so maybe you all are thinking hey just because of a book you're kicking him that hard but trust me that wasn't up to one percent of my strength.
He flew and landed on the ground with a loud thud. The class fell silent and when I looked around I saw everyone was staring at us and when I shut them a glare and a smirk they all put their faces down.
"You dimwit boys hold her down". Kenzie orders the boys and they immediately run to me and I kicked peter in the face but Katie scratches my face from the side and Kenzie drags my hair while paul hold my hands.
Even though I was good at fighting I was just twelve and small against five people, I didn't have a chance. Then a boy and girl came over the boy beat up the two boys alone while the girl drags Kenzie by the hair and I catch Katie before she runs and I drag her hair too.
Then we hear from the speakers that we are to report to the principals office.
So we; I, Carmen and Leon along with the five trouble makers make out way to principals office then before anyone could start talking Kenzie and Katie burst into tears.
"Sir it was the new girl who started it we walked up to her in class and stated our plans to become friends with her and she ignored us because she was reading a book and Patrick tried to take the book from her and it tore and then she kicked him hard and came after the rest of us we were trying to defend ourselves when this three butted in and the rest is history we were wrong for dragging her book but that didn't give her the right to hit us we will accept our punishment". Kenzie finished and the five of them put their heads down.
The two kids on both my sides had their mouths wide open then "sir that was not happened she kicked them because they tore her book but before that they wanted to prank her earlier this morning by pouring water on her seat but she saw through it and avoided so after class they went up to her and asked her to take a bottle of water which Kenzie had and pour it on herself but she continued to ignore them so they took her book and tore it, all she did was retaliate by kicking Patrick" Carmen started
"Then they ganged up against her she managed to fight off peter but the rest attacked her together so i and Carmen had to stop it by helping her and here we are". Leon finished.
Before the principal could make a decision peter said "sir you can call someone from our class and ask whose story is true".
The principal nodded and used the speaker to call a girl from our class who I knew was Annie cause I saw her running errands for them.
"Annie you were this morning when the clash between this two groups occurred right" the principal asked. "yes sir" she responded "and you saw what happened?" "yes sir" " so who started the clash?" "it was Stephanie and her friends sir".
The principal looked at us and used the speaker to call two more people in our class who said the same time and he then looked at us. "sir that's not what happened they're all lying..." Carmen started "..I have called three people and they all said the same thing. So do you still dare to argue in the face of evidence?" the principal asked us and Carmen and Leon nodded sideways.
Kenzie and her group smirked at us I just rolled my eyes at them "Good so...." the principal started "I'm sorry for the interruption sir but I never said we had no evidence" I said and everyone turned to look at me.
I removed a button from my shirt and brought out an SD card and put it in my phone which started the video of what happened in class and gave it to the principal but before doing that I made sure to increase the volume of the video then I turned to smirk at the five at my back whose faces had already turned pale including the three kids who gave false testimonies.
As soon as the principal finished watching the videos his face turned black and he turned to face the 8 children.
"The five of you started the fight and dared to turn the tables and avoid blame so if Stephanie didn't have evidence then she'd have been wrongly accused along with the two others" then he turned to face the remaining three "and you all dared to be false witnesses. Fine first a week of suspension for or all of you then I'm calling your parents and after your one week detention for a week with cleaning the school storage room".
Then he turned to us three and said "although they were in the wrong you all still engaged in violence which is wrong however way you see it so three days of detention all of you are dismissed".
The eight started pleading but the principal was as having none of it. We all left the office and the rest went to pack their bags and left.
I returned to class with Carmen and Leon and turned to them saying "thank you for your help I won't have been able to beat them without you guys I'm sorry for getting you in detention and almost getting you suspended". "hey it's okay on a normal we won't interfere but you well I can't explain anyways were cool so friends?" Leon asked. "friends" I say and shake the both of them.

As I settle in my seat Carmen and Leon come over to greet me and Leon puts his hand around Carmen's waist and my eye twitches.
Here's the thing, I might have a tiny, itsy weeny crush on Leon but he and Carmen have been dating since forever and they're always showing off their love in front of me.
And you can't blame me he has really pretty light brown eyes and cool brown hair and the prettiest face I've ever seen and I mean ever. He was sooo handsome.
Hey I know I'm not supposed to like my best friends boyfriend but can you really blame me.
Then I tell them about my hair turning red this morning and they both look at each other and it looks like they're talking to each other. But then they look back at me and break into smiles and I can't help but think that maybe it was all my imagination.
"You're serious your hair was red or maybe it was your imagination" Carmen said. "I'm serious no kidding" I say. "Alright lets sit now class is about to start Stephanie can you state..." the teacher started so we all went back to our seats.
So after school I went back home and saw a note from Mom and dad saying that they were out for the night on a date. And a text from Sophia that she was out with her boyfriend even though she's only a year older than me but when I bring up the topic of me dating they all look at me like I killed someone so I've given up.
I'm now focusing on other aspects and having tiny crushes on every kdrama actor I see. Or musicians and when I say tiny I mean total obsession ❤️ 💋 😘.
And no I'm not planning on finding a prince charming any time soon. Sounds like too much stress besides there are very few individuals who can handle me
