The story where MC died due to food poisoning in his rice, and he gets reborn into the rice cooker where he died - in his own home. He remembers he was eating his food with his whole family, so he starts to recall who among them could have poisoned him.
He notices that his little sister, who's 19 years old, is trying to find something to eat. MC remembers she was out of the house when he was eating with the rest of the family, so he tries to get her attention. He tries to do anything to make her notice him, but he fails because he can't move or talk.
He sees that his sister is sad while looking for food in the kitchen. He realizes that she didn't kill him, because she's clearly missing him while searching for food. She grabs a snack and goes to her room, and MC becomes determined to tell her everything - so she can help him get justice for the one who poisoned his rice that night.
He thinks to himself: If I'm a rice cooker... then maybe I can do something, right? He tries to turn on the light, but he can't - it's not plugged in. Then he remembers: If I'm a rice cooker, I can steam water... maybe I can try to shape the steam into words.
Even if it's just less than 10 words - he can try.
Later that night, when his sister comes in to make rice in the cooker, he waits. After some time, when the rice is almost cooked, he tries to make steam in the air - and he does. He forms the words "Big bro" multiple times in the steam.
His sister sees it - once, then again - but he can't keep it up. She asks herself if she really saw that or if it was just her imagination. She rubs her eyes and looks again, but the cooker isn't making that steam anymore.
MC gets sad, realizing she thought it was just in her head.
He promises himself he'll try again tomorrow - when she cooks rice in the early morning.
The next day, she goes into the kitchen to make rice. When the rice is almost cooked, MC remembers his mistake from before - he'll only use steam when she's watching this time.
She glares at the cooker as the rice is about to finish, and MC gives her the message in steam:
"I'm your bro."
She sees it and immediately rubs her eyes, saying maybe it's just because she didn't sleep much. But she also remembers - she saw something like this yesterday too.
Twice?
She thinks to herself: If I see that steam again, I'll believe it's not my imagination.
MC tries again. He can only make five more words. She asks the cooker, "What do you want to tell me?"
He makes his final steam message:
"He was killed by someone."
The steam ends. He can't do it anymore.
We see her crying, holding the rice cooker.
She says, "I'll bring you justice, Brother."
After many weeks, when the family members are arrested, we see her return to the kitchen. She looks at the cooker and quietly asks herself:
"Will I ever see my brother again?"
And then - we see MC's spirit gently touch her shoulder and say:
"Thank you, Sister, for your help."
He ascends into the sky.
She feels something on her shoulder, touches it softly while looking at the rice coo
ker, and says:
"Was that you... Brother?"
