"Hey! Oven, don't be reckless! The Marines have been unusually active lately, and the New World is becoming more and more unstable!"

A calm, steady voice came through a Den Den Mushi whose face was wrapped in a thick scarf.

"Katakuri, there's no need to worry. It's just Dressrosa," Oven replied nonchalantly, holding the receiver in one hand.

"If they refuse to produce sweets for Mama, then I have no reason to show them mercy." With his strength, Oven didn't consider Dressrosa a threat.

In the face of overwhelming power, military resistance was meaningless.

"But Dressrosa is a member of the World Government—they'll call for Marine reinforcements!" Katakuri warned, his tone heavy.

Right now, the New World was like a powder keg—one spark could trigger a catastrophic explosion.

The last thing he wanted was for the Big Mom Pirates to become the target of a global backlash. That would inevitably lead to heavy casualties among his siblings.

"Enough, Katakuri. That's the end of it. I'll present Mama with the perfect gift."

Click! Oven ended the call without giving Katakuri another word.

"Damn it! That idiot…" Katakuri slammed the receiver down, his expression darkening as a foreboding feeling gnawed at him.

"Prepare a ship! We're heading for the Kingdom of Dressrosa!"

Dressrosa, Coastal Port

A medium-sized, three-masted sailing ship slowly pulled into the harbour.

Its tall masts bore a pirate flag fluttering in the sea breeze: a black background with a grinning skull in a top hat and curly pink hair.

The skull's lips were smeared with exaggerated red lipstick.

Nothing was amusing about it, though—any pirate in the New World would instantly recognise that emblem. It was the flag of the Big Mom Pirates, rulers of the sea.

"Quick! Report to King Riku on the King's Plateau and request immediate military support!"

The guards at the port spotted the ship instantly and rushed to sound the alarm.

"Dressrosa dares to call the Marines? Looks like they need to be taught a lesson. Fire the cannons!"

Charlotte Oven, clad in his signature orange-yellow outfit, gave the order with a cold expression, glancing at the Marine warship docked nearby.

"Hahaha! Yes, Lord Oven! Those fools! How dare they defy the Big Mom Pirates!" the crew roared in jeering laughter.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Cannon fire thundered from the pirate ship toward the Marine vessel, but the Marines were ready. They returned fire immediately.

Explosions rocked the harbour as thick smoke billowed through the air.

Oven's crew stormed ashore, clashing with the kingdom's guards and Marine defenders in a chaotic, bloody battle.

The scene was pure bedlam—gunfire, screams, and smoke filled every corner of the port.

Oven stood unmoving at the bow, his expression cold. Though he intended to teach Dressrosa a lesson, he wouldn't let Mama's "gift" be too damaged.

Meanwhile, deep in Dressrosa's bustling streets, Atlas was feasting happily.

Then, he paused.

From the moment he'd stepped onto the island, his Observation Haki had covered all of Dressrosa—and now, he sensed Charlotte Oven's presence.

"Well, well… so it's him."

Finishing his last bite, Atlas vanished with a swift Soru, racing toward the port.

The speed of his movement kicked up powerful gusts, drawing surprised shrieks from nearby women in skirts.

"Your Majesty! The Big Mom Pirates are here!"

At the palace on the King's Plateau, a guard burst in, breathless and pale.

"What!?" King Riku shot up, shocked and furious at how quickly Big Mom's forces had moved. His eyes darted to Vice Admiral Gion.

"Heh. Don't worry, Your Majesty. The Marines will handle this," Gion replied calmly, fully understanding his concern.

She bowed and turned to leave, her cape fluttering behind her.

"Good grief, what a mess. Guess it's time for some cleanup."

By the time Atlas reached the port, it was already in ruins. Marines and kingdom guards were fighting desperately to hold back the pirates.

Conqueror's Haki — Activated.

The world seemed to shift into monochrome. Time froze.

Pirates halted mid-step, expressions twisting in confusion, before collapsing one after another.

Marines and kingdom guards stared in shock, unsure what had just happened, but the Marines quickly understood.

"It's Commodore Atlas! His Conqueror's Haki… unbelievable! No wonder they say only one in a million is born with it!"

While the guards remained stunned, the Marines seized the chance, cutting down the pirates who had collapsed under Atlas's overwhelming will.

At the bow, Oven felt the Haki's crushing pressure. Though he remained conscious, the force was immense—his vision blurred, and his head throbbed.

"Charlotte Oven," Atlas muttered, narrowing his eyes.

He knew exactly who Oven was—one of Big Mom's strongest children, wielder of the Heat-Heat Fruit, and one of the few to inherit a fraction of her monstrous physique.

His debut bounty had been 300 million berries, but Atlas knew his true power far exceeded that.

"When did the Marines get another Conqueror's Haki user?" Oven thought grimly.

As far as he knew, Sengoku and Garp had been the only Marines to possess it. But this man's Haki was far too refined to be newly awakened.

"Conqueror's Haki isn't exclusive to pirates," Atlas said calmly.

"I walk the path of ultimate justice."

He waited as the Marines and guards cleared the area—he didn't want to be hindered once the real fight began.

"Explosive Sweep!"

Atlas struck first.

Activating the Dragon Talisman, he unleashed a massive column of explosive fire that tore through the air, engulfing the pirate ship and blowing it apart.

Oven leapt from the bow, grim-faced, evading the brunt of the blast. There was no way such a straightforward attack would land on him.

"You've made a big mistake, Marine!"

Remote Heating!

Oven activated his Devil Fruit powers instantly.

Destroying their flag was an insult to the Big Mom Pirates—an attack on their pride.

Heat radiated from the Oven's body, washing over the battlefield. But to Atlas, it was nothing more than the sting of tiny insects.

"Pathetic. Are you trying to tickle me?"

Explosive—Godspeed—Soru!

Atlas grinned darkly. The ground cracked under his feet, and he vanished in a blur, reappearing behind Oven in an instant.

Danger!

Oven's Observation Haki screamed a warning, but his body couldn't match the speed. He was frozen in place as Atlas's fist came crashing down.

BOOM!

No Armament Haki, no flashy techniques—just sheer, unrestrained power. Atlas's fist crashed into Oven with terrifying force, sending him hurtling across the battlefield like a rag doll.

It was like being punched by Big Mom during one of her hunger pangs. Oven's bones screamed in agony, his body threatening to tear apart.

"Tch… not bad at all," Atlas muttered, flexing his fist.

With each talisman he unlocked, his strength grew more monstrous. They didn't simply enhance his physical abilities—they amplified and complemented one another.

Now, his stamina and power rivalled those of the top Marine vice admirals, placing him firmly on the same tier as the "Three Monsters."

In some ways, he was like a turbocharged version of Charlotte Linlin herself.

"What the hell are you…!?" Oven groaned, forcing himself upright.

Dust-coated arms wiped blood from his lips, his eyes locked on Atlas in disbelief.

That last blow had nearly let him feel the icy breath of death. Such terrifying speed and power were far beyond human limits.

"Heat Wind Fist!"

Oven cursed himself. He should have turned back when Katakuri warned him. But in this world, there was no medicine for regret.

Now, his only choice was to brace himself and face the monster before him, clinging to the faintest hope of survival.

"A firefly daring to challenge the moon? Blast Fist!"

Kanos Atlas launched forward, the explosive might of the Dragon Talisman surging through his colossal fist as it collided with Oven's attack—Bang!

To his credit, Charlotte Oven had refined his Devil Fruit abilities well.

His body also carried traces of Big Mom's "Iron Balloon" toughness, and his powers were brushing the edge of Awakening.

However, his Heat-Heat Fruit specialised in temperature, while Atlas's Dragon Talisman leaned toward explosive force.

In terms of instantaneous attack power, Oven was completely outclassed.

"How about it, pirate? Can you feel the difference now?" Atlas asked calmly, his gaze fixed on Oven's twisted right arm.

"Marine! Are you ready to make an enemy of the Big Mom Pirates? Mama will never forgive you!" Oven spat through clenched teeth.

"To hell with your Mama! What are you, some overgrown mama's boy?" Atlas shot back before lunging in. His massive palm whipped across Oven's face in a vicious slap.

Oven's distinctive hairstyle collapsed instantly, his head nearly caving in from the blow.

His right cheek ballooned, and blood—mixed with broken teeth—splattered the ground.

"You…" Oven staggered, bewildered. This lunatic was spouting nonsense one moment and flying into a rage the next.

Truthfully, Oven was simply unlucky. He was a fighter who leaned heavily on his Devil Fruit powers.

Although his physical abilities surpassed most of Big Mom's children, his combat style still revolved around his fruit's strengths.

Unfortunately for him, Atlas's Dragon Talisman—while focused on explosive power—was still fundamentally fire-based.

That made Oven's ability half-useless. In raw physique and brute force, Atlas utterly dominated him, grinding him into the dirt.

"Alright, talk. What's your real objective in coming to Dressrosa?" Atlas asked casually, as if speaking to a beaten prisoner was routine.

"Marine, if you've got the guts—kill me!" Oven snapped. His loyalty to his family was absolute; he would never betray Big Mom.

"Oh? Fine by me."

Atlas drew the Sandai Kitetsu in one smooth motion. The blade flashed, slicing cleanly across Oven's neck. Blood erupted instantly.

Oven's good hand clutched the wound, his eyes wide with shock and fury as countless thoughts screamed through his mind.

Damn it, I was just running my mouth! Why did this bastard Marine take me seriously?

And what about Impel Down? Aren't Marines supposed to lock up Devil Fruit users? Why isn't he following the script?!

But those thoughts would never be voiced.

Atlas had no intention of sending Oven to Impel Down, knowing full well the Big Mom Pirates could bribe or bargain with the World Government for his release.

It was no different from the shady deals politicians made with Kaido of Wano. To the Five Elders, only self-interest mattered.

As for the Heat-Heat Fruit's rebirth, Atlas couldn't care less. Devil Fruits weren't the cause of the world's rot, and new ones appeared constantly on the seas.

The loss of a single fruit meant nothing.

"No survivors?"

Gion appeared at his side, fresh from the King's Plateau. Her gaze lingered briefly on Oven's corpse.

"None. Scum like this can go repent in hell," Atlas replied evenly, waving her off.

"How very Akainu of you, little Kanos," Gion teased.

"I'm nothing like Vice Admiral Akainu. Now, Vice Admiral Gion, why don't you take care of the cleanup? I have a few more of Dressrosa's passionate dances to enjoy."

Gion froze, realising she'd been tricked again. She hadn't had a moment's rest since arriving in Dressrosa. Damn him!
