"You can't think that you want to keep her here forever, Myra. The desert isn't safe anymore." Hector's voice sounded througout the tent loud, deep, and commanding.
"And you now think that moving her will make her less of a target?" Myra's eyes narrowed.
"Not just moving, hiding her in a place no one alive knows exists. The coastal fortress was built into the cliffs, it was only accessible by sea during high tide. I have kept it off every map." Hector replied, moving forward, putting his elbows on his knees.
"He is not wrong, Elira's reach is spreading faster than sand in the wind, that even cause neutral packs to start folding under her banner. It's only a matter of time before she marches here." Kira added.
I sat on my bed, I put both my hands on my stomach. The child, that word sounded on my head every time they spoke about him.
