Seraphina's POV
Before I could move again, I felt something like a water that broke in my stomach.
"Myra… it's happening now." I shouted as I remembered what just happened.
My whole body was shaking as another pain charged through me. Outside the sea was sounding like a living beast, and above the fortress, the blood moon had been there, it was heavy and swollen covering everything in a deep red glow.
"It's still too soon. Kira, close the window. Hector, guard the door." Myra said, but her hands were already moving while spreading around the fresh cloths, boiling water and crushing herbs with some speed.
"This is not normal, right?" Kira's voice was very steady, but her eyes were still filled with so much worry.
"No, the blood moon was not even supposed to rise until another week." Myra said sharply.
"Why now then? Why…" I held unto my bed, my nails were even digging into the clothes as the pain increased again.
