LUCIUS POV
I didn't feel disappointed, I didn't judge any of them. The sight of Harrison kissing Abel should have shaken me, but it didn't. I already knew Harrison was into both men and women and he had never hidden that part of himself from me.
And Abel… I wasn't surprised either. Even when he was a boy, Abel's glances stayed longer on men than women. It had always been there, written in his eyes.
So instead of standing there gawking, I simply turned around and walked away. My boots clicked against the marble floor as I left the chamber, not sparing them another look.
I heard hurried footsteps behind me, Harrison.
"Lucius, wait," he called, his voice carrying guilt and desperation.
I ignored him, pushing through the halls until I finally reached the open garden. The moon hung above us, shining its pale silver light across the flowers and hedges. I stood still, my hands clasped behind my back, my mind was far from Harrison and Abel.
