Synopsis
When the skies turned red and monsters emerged from dimensional rifts, the world ended in a single, blood-soaked day. Vishwa was just another late, sarcastic young man trying to make a trip with his friends. But in an instant, his world became a nightmare. He watched helplessly as the people he loved were slaughtered—his friends torn apart, his soul shattered. In the ruins of humanity, he finds a flicker of hope: a little girl named Priya, orphaned and injured. With no training, no weapons, and nothing left to lose, Vishwa makes one promise—to keep her alive. As monstrous orcs, demonic creatures, and twisted betrayal close in, Vishwa must become something new: not a hero, but a survivor. A man who bleeds, breaks, and still stands. A man willing to tear through hell itself for the one child who gives his life meaning. But when an ancient power awakens inside him—a burning crystal that grants impossible strength—he realizes he’s no longer just fighting monsters. He’s becoming one. “Red Moon” is a brutal, emotional journey of survival, sacrifice, and reluctant fatherhood in a dying world where monsters aren’t the only things

Chapter 1 - Apocalypse survival

The world became hell.

Hello, I'm Vishwa.

I'm here to share my story of this hellish world.

---

Three Months Ago

It was a normal day. The sun was out in the sky. Sounds ordinary, right?

Yes… but it's been three days since I last saw the sun.

I was at home, getting ready for a picnic—or a hangout, whatever you want to call it.

We had made plans to go out.

My friends' names were Rishab and Sohib.

We'd been friends since school, and we were still together.

Lucky, right? I know.

Suddenly, I heard a car horn.

Rishab:

"Hey dude, come out! We're late because of you—like always. Did you forget we're going to Goa?"

Sohib:

"This guy is always late. I think he has a girlfriend, that's why he's always acting weird."

I walked down the stairs, locked the door, and heard Sohib's teasing.

Me:

"Hey, you idiot! I don't have a girlfriend. You're the one always chasing girls—you're such a pervert. That's why your girlfriend Neha broke up with you."

Sohib:

"You—!"

Rishab quickly covered Sohib's mouth.

Rishab:

"It's your fault, accept it. Vishwa, let's go. And please, stop fighting like kids."

I got into the car.

Me:

"What a day! Look at the sky—it's so clear. Better than Sohib's dirty face."

Sohib:

"You idiot! I look a hundred times better than you."

Me:

"Oh? But last time, your ex said you were the ugliest guy she'd ever seen."

Rishab shook his head at our banter and started the car, driving toward the train station.

---

After an hour, we arrived at the train station—

But the train had already left.

Sohib:

"It's because of you, Vishwa! We missed it because of you!"

Me:

"Come on! You're the one who came late to pick me up!"

Rishab:

"Stop fighting. Let's go home and make another plan for the hangout."

Sohib:

"Another plan? It's not like I always have free weekends. We all agreed to go today!"

Rishab:

"What can we do now? Do you have a Doraemon helicopter we can fly to Goa with?"

Me:

"Why don't we just take a flight?"

Sohib:

"You idiot! If we could afford a flight ticket, why were we even going by train?!"

---

Suddenly, something impossible happened.

A dimensional portal opened in front of us.

Me:

"What the hell is this? Is this some kind of manhwa where monsters suddenly appear from another world?"

Sohib:

"You actually believe in stuff like that? Idiot—it's probably just a movie set. Someone probably booked the station to shoot a scene or something. Chill."

Rishab:

"I don't know how you two are still friends when all you do is argue."

---

Suddenly—

A loud scream shattered everything.

STRANGER:

"WHAT IS THAT!? WHAT'S COMING OUT OF THERE?!"

That day...

I saw hell for the first time.

A creature—like something out of a manhwa, or anime, or a nightmare—emerged.

It looked like an orc, or a demon.

Before anyone could react, it grabbed the man who had shouted and crushed his skull with terrifying ease.

Blood sprayed across the station.

People started screaming.

Some ran.

Some just stood frozen, unable to move from fear.

I was one of them.

Rishab:

"Vishwa! RUN!"

The sound of people dying filled the air—

Screams, begging, bones snapping.

Limbs were flying.

It felt like a scene from a game.

But this was real.

This was hell.

Finally, my legs moved.

I ran.

I ran with Rishab.

But something hit me in the chest—

Where was Sohib?

Me:

"Wait… where's Sohib?!"

Rishab:

"Oh no… he—"

Rishab suddenly collapsed.

I looked down—his legs and back were bleeding badly.

And when I turned around…

Sohib was lying on the ground.

His hand… no…

His head had been torn from his body.

I froze.

Then I dropped beside Rishab and shook him.

Me:

"Come on! Don't die on me like this!

We'll get you treatment—we just need to get to a hospital.

Please, bro!"

Tears streamed down my face as I begged for help.

But no one stopped.

Everyone was running away.

No one cared.

No one even looked at us.

Rishab:

"You idiot... run.

Run for your life. I beg you… leave me."

Me:

"No! I'm not leaving you behind!"

I tried to lift him, but he pushed me away with the last of his strength.

Then—

Something heavy—like a wooden hammer—

Smashed down on his head.

I screamed.

I punched the monster in blind rage, but it grabbed me and threw me against the wall like a doll.

I slam

med into the wall.

For a moment, I thought I was dead.

My body screamed in pain, but somehow—I moved.

I gathered every bit of strength I had… and started running.

I didn't look back. I just ran.
