Chapter 23 - Chapter 21: caterpie queen (one peice is peak)

All Chimchar are dreamy. I need you back in you poke balls they both nod in understanding, and with a little swish and a beam of red light, both get sucked in to there poke balls all right, ditto. It's up to you and me. We're going into this stealthy. I'm going to need you. As we move to shift your colors to blend in with your surroundings, then you're going to extend and stretch yourself over my body like a second pair of clothes. Ditto. Nods, and its colors start to shift, growing darker with patches of dark green before eventually looking no different than the forest floor. Wow, looks like you've been really putting two hundred percent into your training. All right, let's do this. Ditto. Body shifts and extends, its body stretching like a piece of taffy before enveloping my form. I before settling on me. Wow, this feels weird, like a wetsuit. All right, let's focus. I wait in the top of a tree before eventually a group of caterpillars appears, looking to be going deeper into the nest. I nod and stealthily stalk the group, seeing the forest and the sunlight fade away, replaced with string and silk. The hot sun replaced with the cool, damp darkness. The caterpillar approaches a group of five trees with long silk hanging from them, and tucked in those threads of hanging silk are dozens of eggs. My eyes widen. This must be their nest, I mutter, and unconsciously grip my cane tighter. If the eggs are here, the queen must be close. I hey ditto. It shifts and contracts before its eyes appear. All right, buddy, stealth time is over. Do you think you could scout for me? Try to find the queen. I'll stay right here and wait. Do you think you can do that for me? Ditto. Nods in determination and stretches and melts off my body

pov change: Ditto

I slink down a winding tunnel of string and silk with only one thought in my mind: I must find the queen and tell her it's my chance to pay her to thank her for giving me hope, for telling me that I can achieve my dream, for believing me. I must show her that her trust wasn't misplaced. I see a caterpillar coming and turn my skin darker to blend in and watch it pass before I go back to walking. In the distance, I see it: a very faint light. Curious, I approach and see a giant dome of string with very, very tiny glowing stones embedded in them: fire stones. I realize I remember John talking about telling me that the leading theory on how they are formed is that they are pure fire energy from the planet, probably from the Earth's core that crystallized and eventually made it to the surface. There are very few of them, that's probably why these ones are so tiny. There was probably one big one that this tribe found and broke it into tiny pieces for lighting, and I know that there is only one person or Pokémon in this case that's important enough for that: the queen

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________hey guys, how have you been? Do you like it when I write from the Pokémon's POV? Should I change it or do it more? Thoughts. Sorry for not posting much. I live in Florida, so school has been started here for a week and has been kicking my butt. That, with my birthday that just happened, has been busy, but no worries. I'm back and with a normal schedule.
