Chapter 6 - The Forgotten One

The void pulsed.

Time rippled like water as a figure stepped from the mist — clad in golden armor that shimmered with stardust, a long cloak billowing in a wind that didn't exist.

His eyes glowed not with rage, but wisdom — deep pools that held galaxies of pain and secrets.

The Stark sister staggered back, whispering the name like a prayer laced with disbelief.

"Vision…"

Tony's breath caught in his chest.

He's dead. I watched him die.

But here he stood — reborn, refined, more cosmic than ever before.

Vision's voice was low, calm, but layered with urgency.

"This place is feeding on your doubt. The Paradox isn't just a being — he's entropy given form. And he knows your breaking points."

The Paradox sneered, materializing like a stormcloud crackling with dark light.

"You're not real, machine. Just another illusion from a forgotten code."

Vision stepped forward, unbothered.

"Then why are you afraid of me?"

With a surge of light, he raised his hand — a beam of golden energy burst forward, slicing through the illusions and disintegrating the warped reflections that clung to Tony and the Stark sister like chains.

They both gasped as the weight lifted. For the first time in what felt like an eternity, clarity returned.

Tony looked Vision in the eyes.

"You came back… why now?"

Vision's gaze turned to the spiraling shards above.

"Because what's coming isn't the end. It's the convergence. Timelines are colliding. Realities bleeding into each other. And the Paradox isn't acting alone."

The Stark sister stiffened.

"What do you mean… not alone?"

Before Vision could respond, the rift above them trembled violently — and a thunderous voice cracked the void:

"So, they found the machine. Doesn't matter. The convergence will not be stopped."

From the darkness, another figure emerged — cloaked in shadows that pulsed with corrupted versions of familiar powers.

He raised his hand.

Iron Man's repulsors.

Doctor Strange's sigils.

Wanda's red chaos.

Thor's lightning.

All fused into one monstrous hybrid form.

Vision's eyes narrowed.

"It's begun. He's here."

Tony stepped forward, suit powering up, armor plates sliding into place.

"Who the hell is that?"

Vision's reply chilled them.

"A reflection of everything you've ever feared. Every power you've ever faced. Every timeline you failed to save. He calls himself…"

"…Oblivion Prime."

Oblivion Prime raised both arms. With a snap of his corrupted gauntlet, the rift behind him split wide open, and hundreds of shadow-Avengers — twisted versions of the team from broken timelines — began pouring through, their eyes glowing with crimson hatred.

Tony turned to Vision and the Stark sister.

"We either fix the fracture… or watch every timeline burn."
