Chapter 10 - Echoes of the Unwritten

Darkness.

Not silence.

The Stark sister blinked.

She was falling—not down, but sideways through time itself. Colors bled into each other. Screams of broken moments, the laughter of things that should never have lived, the heartbeat of her own reactor pulsing louder with each second.

Then—

A jolt.

She hit solid ground. Or something pretending to be ground.

Scene: A Ruined New York—But Not Their Own

Glass floated in mid-air like frozen rain. Skyscrapers bent upward like steel vines, impossible angles clawing at a crimson sky. Time here didn't tick; it bled.

The Stark sister rose, bruised and disoriented. Her HUD was cracked. Her reactor was flickering.

Her hands trembled—not from fear, but from memory.

"You don't stop it. You become it."

Corrupted Tony's final words echoed louder than the screaming winds around her.

Suddenly—a whisper.

Not hers. Not Tony's.

"You weren't supposed to survive."

She turned fast, her repulsors flickering on.

A man in black robes, face covered in a mask made of fractured mirrors, stood among the wreckage of a shattered Stark Tower.

Each mirror reflected a different version of her—one smiling, one crying, one bleeding out with her eyes wide open.

"Who are you?" she demanded.

The figure didn't answer. Instead, he stepped aside, revealing a statue.

Of her.

Face calm. Hands open. Kneeling.

Beneath it:"The Last Stark – Savior or Scourge?"

She stepped back, heart racing.

"What is this place?"

"The world where you win," the Mirror Man said.

Then he whispered—

"And everyone else loses."

Meanwhile…

Somewhere in a forest with no stars, Peter Parker awakened upside down—caught in webs not of his own making. His suit was torn. He was breathing hard.

From the shadows, a young girl with glowing green eyes stepped forward.

"You're him, aren't you?" she asked.

"Who are you?"

"The one you left behind. The one Strange erased to save you."

Peter's breath caught in his throat.

She raised her hand.

"But I remember everything."

Elsewhere…

Loki knelt in a throne room with no ceiling, staring up at a cosmic storm that whispered his name in languages of the dead.

And beside him, bound in glowing chains, was Thor—but with empty eyes.

"You killed him here," the storm said.

Loki laughed bitterly.

"Of course I did."

But when he touched Thor's chest—it beat.

Once.

Then twice.

"I can undo it," the storm offered. "But every gift has its cost."

Loki looked up.

"And what is it?"

The storm whispered:

"Her."

Back to Stark Sister…

Her reactor pulsed wildly now—flashing images she couldn't control.

She dropped to her knees.

"I didn't ask to be this!"

The Mirror Man kneeled beside her, placing a mirror against her cheek.

"Then stop pretending you're not."

And in the reflection—

Her eyes glowed gold.

A second reactor spun in her chest.

Not built. Awakened.

Suddenly—the air cracked.

A ripple in the sky opened above her.

She stood quickly, activating her repulsors.

Above, a falling figure spiraled through the breach.

Cloak flapping. Hands aglow. Screaming one word:

"RUN!"

It was Doctor Strange.

He crashed next to her, face bloodied.

He grabbed her shoulders, gasping:

"They've started rewriting realities."

"Who?"

Strange's eyes were wide.

"The Watchers turned their backs. The TVA has fallen. And the one orchestrating this—"

A blast of blinding light cut him off.

He turned to dust before her.

Gone.

She stood there, shaking, as the mirror at her feet shattered.

And from the dust of Strange's ashes, a symbol formed—a star inside an infinity loop.

A whisper rode the wind:

"The rewritten Endgame begins now."

From behind, the Mirror Man rose again, and this time his mask slipped slightly—just enough for her to see half a face.

Her face.

But older.

Colder.

More powerful.

She backed away.

"What the hell are you?"

He smiled.

"I am who you become if you lose everyone."

The world cracked open beneath her again—

And she fell into Chapter 11.
