Once upon a time in the sea there was a young merman who loves the things from shore that are left by humans, his parents had warned him severally to keep away from the surface but he was quite a stubborn one
He had a secret cave where he kept different items that he collected from shore and he would always go there to admire them. One day he went to the surface as usual and was sitting on a rock on shore and admiring the tides and dolphins … when he suddenly saw a a beautiful being he had never seen before in his entire existence, at first glance he thought it was a mermaid but it wasn't if was just a girl in a bikini,long story short they fell for each other and he was banished and became human and lived with the girl he fell in love with they got married and that's how me Zayn Blackwood came about …
At this current times there are lots of mermen and mermaids living on land and married to humans..

I inherited the position from my dad who was once the "Guardian" but he died in a war that happened few years ago and it's just me my mom and little sister.
