Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Into the Night

Elina looks into the space, while eating cereal. We hear the rain falling; she looks at the window while drops of water fall on the big glass—let's say a large window. Everything in this house is big. She finishes her cereal and then walks into a wall. On this wall, we see tally marks. She takes a marker and adds a line to the tally marks.

Elina is a tall woman with long hands and a muscular body; we see on the wall there are 10 tally marks. How much time has she spent in this house? Two months? With her sharp features, we can see that she is a little bit scary. She walks to a treadmill and runs and runs. It seems that she is running as fast as she can for a while and stops. Then she starts doing push-ups and barely takes a break before starting over again, running on the treadmill repeatedly. After she finishes, she goes to the bathroom. She starts to take a bath while we see her back—her left arm covered with tattoos of a tiger and a half-man, half-wolf. After finishing the bath, her typically experiences a sense of refreshment and relaxation. They wrap herselve in a towel, Exiting the bathroom, she notice the pleasant scent of the soap or shampoo still lingering in the air. After that we see her wearing red pajamas as she sits on the bed, opens the drawer, takes out a pack of cigarettes, and realizes there's only one left. She appears somewhat annoyed. She takes the lighter and tries to light the cigarette, but the lighter isn't working. This time, she isn't as bothered. Her face shows no emotion. She puts the cigarette back in the pack and returns it to the drawer. Lying on her back, she closes her eyes. After a while, she opens them again, she sees a guy standing in front of her, just staring with a soft and warm smile, just standing there without saying a word for some time and he finally says, 'You got this, Elina.' She wakes up, it's night. That was just a dream. There's a sense of relief on her face, and she doesn't seem bothered or shocked.

She stands up, opens the closet, and pulls out sport clothes. She wears them, then goes to the kitchen and takes a map from one of the drawers. The map shows an island with many catches, and there's a starting point that resembles the house she is in. The roads are highlighted leading to a valley. We see her crossing out the middle and left roads, then she starts to look at the right road. The map indicates it goes from the house, through the woods, and to an open space, which looks like a golf field. And then it goes to the beach, where we see boats symbolized on the map. She opens another drawer, pulls out a gun and a backpack. We don't know what's in that backpack, but it appears to be really heavy. Then we see Elina ascending the stairs to the attic of the house. But on her way up, she stops and looks at the bedroom door she was in earlier. She enters it and takes the cigarette pack and the lighter.

When she gets up the top of the house and looks at the sky, there's a clear view of the moon lighting up the night. She opens the pack, takes out the cigarette, and this time when she tries to light it, it ignites. She takes a drag and then looks at the moon. She smiles in an angry way and says, 'What a beautiful night.' And then she looks down, we see a bunch of people standing outside the house, looking at her. But there is something off about these people. They look at her with righteous features, and most of them are stained with blood.
