Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Are You Sure It's the First Time?

"I know all about you, but you know nothing about me." —Lucy Eaton

——

Country Y, Ningham City.

In the biting winter, snow flew everywhere.

Within the dungeon of Blossom Haven Estate, a woman knelt on the icy, hard cement floor, her hands and feet tightly bound by ropes, unable to move.

"Still won't admit it?" A soft voice came from not far away, as Grace walked in from the dungeon's entrance, slowly approaching the kneeling figure.

"I didn't kill Stellan Quinn. Why would I confess?!"

Grace Hughes squatted down, her eyes full of mirth, "Mrs. Green finally couldn't bear the six years of a titular hidden marriage and went mad with revenge against her husband's lover, isn't that so?"

Lucy Eaton looked up, her emotions agitated, "If I couldn't stand this nominal marriage, I could just get a divorce! There's no way I'd stake my life on it!"

"Who would believe you?" Grace sneered, "The medicine I prepared for myself was drunk by you, bitch, and you successfully got pregnant with Jacob Green's child. I've always thought the most virtuous thing I did was help you get rid of that child who was never meant to be yours."

The sudden revelation blanked out Lucy Eaton's mind. A few seconds later, intense hatred sparked in her eyes, "Grace Hughes! You'll die a terrible death!"

Grace laughed heartily, "It's a pity you fool always thought the child was lost naturally. Hahaha! You and Stellan Quinn are really something—one more foolish than the other."

The piercing laughter stabbed Lucy Eaton's nerves. Yes, she was foolish. If she weren't foolish, how would she have only now discovered Grace's true nature?

Lucy Eaton's eyes felt swollen, her hands trembled uncontrollably, "Stellan Quinn's death is related to you?! You can be Jacob Green's secretary all because of her, and you actually killed your best friend and framed me?!"

Grace looked at her as if she were a fool, reaching out to pat her face, "This is called killing two birds with one stone. Learned it?"

"Aren't you afraid Jacob Green will one day know the truth?" She struggled desperately against the ropes, wanting to slap Grace, but to no avail.

"He will never know." Grace smiled faintly, pulling out a small, silent pistol from her pocket, "Soon, you'll commit suicide out of guilt for killing Stellan Quinn. After your death, Stellan's matter will be completely concluded, and no one will ever compete with me for him, hahahahahahaha..."

The gun was pointed at her temple. The sharp pain came suddenly, and Lucy Eaton's body collapsed to the ground...

The crimson blood spread on the cement, like seductive mandalas blooming in the underworld...

Consciousness receded rapidly, as she unwillingly closed her eyes.

——

Heat...

Suffocation...

These two sensations filled her senses as Lucy Eaton opened her eyes, only to find herself lying at the bottom of a large bathtub.

She gasped for air, choking on the hot water, hurriedly turning off the hot water tap.

Looking down at her naked body, scalded like a boiled lobster, then surveying her surroundings, she was somewhat puzzled...

Old memories flooded back, and Lucy Eaton, in disbelief, climbed out of the bathtub. Just as she slipped on white slippers, the door was pushed open forcefully.

Seeing the man walk in, she was too shocked to react, standing there in a daze, motionless.

Until her wrist was suddenly grabbed, snapping her back to reality as his stern voice demanded in her ear, "Who sent you?!"

"Grace Hughes." The words came out almost instinctively.

His eyes narrowed, seemingly incredulous, "What?! Who did you say?"

"Mr. Green, I'm in this line of work. Grace Hughes contacted me a few days ago, gave me fifty thousand in cash, telling me to sleep with a very quality man, just needing to give her bed photos, especially asking for you to show your face. I also took the medicine she prepared last night, thinking of having fun with you, completely forgetting the task she assigned me..." She showed an anxious expression, lamenting, "The balance is definitely gone. Doesn't this mean I worked for nothing? It's my first time in this job!"

Jacob Green, seeing she didn't seem to be faking, hauled her out. Lucy Eaton was dragged away like a chick thrown out.

"Call her, put it on speaker. If you can prove your words true, I'll give you the balance. If you can't prove your words true, you'll die here today!"

Lucy Eaton showed a surprised expression, "Okay, okay, I'll call her now. But keep your word; once it's confirmed, pay the balance. I worked really hard last night."

She never thought she'd actually be reborn, back to the night of six years ago.

In her previous life, the reason she had an indescribable night with Jacob Green was mainly because she went to a hotel to find her childhood friend James Foster.

James Foster had booked a room with a female netizen, only for his wallet, phone, and clothes to be taken away while he was showering.

Realizing it was a scam, he sought help from the reception who then called her.

Who knew as soon as she entered the hotel, she'd be led by front desk staff to this room.

Upon entering, she was perplexed, as it was a presidential suite, one James Foster could never afford, and was about to leave when Jacob Green emerged from the shower...

But, she was already drugged.

Confused and like a ravenous wolf, he pinned her to the bed.

Not until midnight did they stop, she was parched, grabbing a bottle of mineral water from the bedside.

Drinking it was trouble...

Tossing and turning till dawn.

Afterwards, she was unconscious, waking up in the bathtub...

It was clear who threw her in.

She hadn't known Grace Hughes at this point in the previous life, but she memorized her number thoroughly.

Grace Hughes, with Stellan Quinn's help, became Jacob Green's secretary, and each time she couldn't reach Jacob by phone, she'd call Grace.

Lucy remembered clearly overhearing Grace say her phone number was from her university days.

She dared to call only because she knew the truth.

Grace Hughes likely bribed the hotel staff, and they hadn't met. If not, why would staff mistake her for Grace and lead her into this room?

So she just needed to pose as a hotel employee.

The problem was solved effortlessly.

Grace Hughes, being deeply cunning, would never risk contacting the staff by phone, leaving evidence, so she wasn't worried about her voice being exposed.

Dialing the number, she opened the speaker and recording, deliberately lowering her voice, "Is this Miss Hughes?"

"Who are you?"

"Have you forgotten me? I'm the hotel staff you contacted earlier regarding Mr. Green. You arranged me..."

The voice from the other end sounded impatient, "I know who you are! Messed everything up, how dare you call me?!!"

Lucy Eaton was about to respond when Jacob indicated she didn't need to speak further.

The call was immediately hung up.

Jacob took the recording of those two phone statements.

Lucy Eaton sincerely looked at Jacob Green in front of her, "Mr. Green, now you believe me, don't you?"

Jacob's face was unusually grim, "How much is the balance?"

"Fifteen thousand, because it's my first time, so the price is high."

Getting slept with without understanding, one can't suffer the loss of being freely taken advantage of, right?!

Demanding payment is reasonable.

"Sure it's the first time? Not a hymen repair?"
