Dylan and I completed the journey to our bedrooms in silence. The thought that our father could ask us to marry someone else while Avira was still missing still surprises me. What was most surprising was the fact that he was ready to compel us into marrying them.
Well that was not going to happen. We would keep looking for Avira until we found her, and before then, the Luna throne would remain vacant. I knew how much he hated Avira even though he wouldn't say why, but turning away from her when he knew that she could be in immense danger was the height of his hatred, and offering someone else for Declan and I to marry in Avira's place was simply inhumane.
I got into my bedroom after pushing the door open. I concluded in my head to get prepared so that Declan and I would join the others and search for Avira.
